There were 4 of us and all of our food came at different times so i'm not sure about the kitchen communication. Food: Their menu is very large so take your time to read through. I order the brisket sliders and I was so upset I missed the "3 for me" deal on the back of the menu! The sliders were tasty! Other persons in the party order the hot honey chicken sandwich, turkey club, and smoked buffalo wings. No complaints on the food. Drinks: The drinks are pricey and extremely sweet! I wouldn't recommend a mixed drink at all. Games: more than half of the games are out of order, take your money with no opportunity to play, or do not have the pieces to make the game function. The air hockey tables need to be cleaned because the puck was not gliding across the table. Bowling was fun and I like that it's in its own room. The entire place needs a facelift and maintenance! My husband and I came here for a date night. The food was decent--what you would expect for bar food. There was a meal that stated it came with a side salad, but the side salad did not come. When we asked about it, the waiter said you only get the salad if you request it. The waiter at the tables did a nice job of taking care of us. Upstairs was a bunch of unattended pre-teen/teens who definitely did not want any adults up there. When we decided to play games, we waited quite a while for someone to show up to help us at the front desk/game counter. The girl working was less than enthused to help us. Several of the games needed attention or were not working. The air hockey tables were gross with old sticky spills, and most of them were missing pucks, so you couldn't even play. We decided to give the place one more chance, and we bought our kids. Big mistake. This time, even more of the games were not working, and several of the games did not give out the points they stated were awarded. That did not go over well with kids who were excited about the points they earned just for the card to read 0 points. My husband and I brought our grandkids in for food and games. We waited for about 20 minutes for a waitress to bring us a menu, but couldn't even get one of them to make eye contact with us. I remained at the table for the next hour and not one waitress came over and asked me if I needed anything. So my husband took the kids and played games and then we will leave here and try to find something to eat somewhere else. In my opinion, owner is to cheap to maintain his pinball machines properly. The games "suck", due to lack of proper maintenance. I tried to explain how if, kept in proper condition, could absolutely increase business.... I know, I own and operate games in California, and breweries have not only stayed open, but there brewery is thriving, while others, without quality pinball, have closed. Jon Taffer should visit this place. It was very busy for a Saturday night and they appeared understaffed, especially at the bar. Food was very bland (nachos, burgers, bowls, etc.), the CO2 pressure is way too high on the serve-yourself beer taps so you end up paying for more foam than beer, and when you politely ask two different bartenders multiple times to change one of the TVs to ESPN for a conference championship game, and thank them in advance by slipping them cash, it doesn't get done. Plus there's an unsightly mess/dish disposal/trash & supply station in one open corner of the main floor area - a friend commented "the Bar Rescue guy would have a field day with this place." Forgot to take pics but we got the pork sliders and burger sliders, along with the chips and salsa/queso. The chips could feed a small army. Burgers and pork sliders were great! We were with a big party and the service was still pretty good. Ambiance is a big room with kids running around everywhere, beer being poured by the tap (husband loved that!), and random parties everywhere. The games were fun but a little expensive for my taste. I say that because I have a 3 year old and he wasn't picky with how we swiped the card. May be a better spot for older kids. I'll go back and try more food for sure. I've dined here several times, and the food has always been above-average. Decent quality for price. The "beer wall" is an amazing concept! Lots of games and stuff for kids, big and small. I was less-than-impressed with the axe throwing wall: they need either sharper axes or fresher wood targets. Or it's also possible I'm not very good at this. Expect the food to be straight up chain restaurant level quality with lots of fried and salty options - but the "Fish Taco" bowl was quite tasty and rather healthy with a nicely cooked piece of salmon and plenty of greens in a punchy vinaigrette (the server actually told me it was her favorite thing here). Lots of drink options including some actually reasonably priced top shelf scotch, but expect clear plastic glasses which makes sense in a place like this but take a bit from the experience. The games available at the location were all fun and in functional condition. We were able to bring a part of 11 and easily have everyone entertained from age 5 all the way up to 70. The issue was with the food service. After ordering we were told about 3 different items that were not available or they had run out of. If a restaurant needs to 86 something, that's fine, but for a whole group to find out multiple orders were unable to be completed afterwords is unacceptable. The restaurant was less than 25% full, there was no reason for our server to be rushing between tables to possibly justify forgetting the items unavailable. In addition, items that were ordered were completely forgotten and we had to ask for it after being handed the check. Being given a waffle with ice cream to-go hardly seems like an ideal way to consume a frozen dessert. read more

We had to ask another waitress for the drinks and utensils. When the bill came, we thought it was high. The bill was not itemized. When we asked if gratuity was included due to our large party, she said no. We asked to see an itemized receipt and she said they couldn't issue one for us. This establishment has not been opened for long and I feel like majority of the games were broken or out of order. So this place is kind of like a Dave n busters but they do offer other activities like pool, mini bowling, ax throwing and they even have a karaoke room on the second level. Definitely will be going back to do some karaoke! It's a pretty big place with huge big screen tvs great for watching sports. The bar area is nice and big as well . Service was ok, you seat yourself and have to wait for a server to come to you. A server did come take our orders fairly quickly. And our food came out really fast too which is always a plus. I was starving. I ordered a Long Island Ice tea, it was ok. Definitely have had better. It could have been a little bit stronger but that's just me. For food I decided to try their smoked wings and omg they were so good. So crispy and seasoned to perfection. They come with sauce of your choice on the side and fries if you would like. My boyfriend ordered a Philly cheesesteak. It was very good, nice and moist. After we ate we decided to check out the arcade and play some games. They have a decent game selection like Mario carts,air hockey, definitely had a lot of fun! Great for a date night or hanging out with kids. Dogwood is a perfect place for a family outing! There is something for everyone. The beer wall is a fun way to try new things without committing to a full glass of anything. Our kids love the arcade and just the space available in the restaurant. We have had some weird service issues in the past, a couple of servers arguing over who got our table on TWO different occasions (which was awkward), our online order got lost, and we received the wrong order to go. This place is pretty big but I would still compare it to a small Dave & Busters. First the food was regular pub style food. I ordered the "Dog Wood Double Bacon-burger"with everything on it. When it came to the table it was a double patty with some bacon. I informed the very nice waitress and she went to the back to get more bacon but someone back there told her it's a "double meat burger with bacon NOT double bacon....had I known this I would've ordered another burger since ALL the burgers on the menu said double patty meats. The kids pizza meal is worst than Little Caesar's pizza. Oh and our table was the most unstable, we had to keep our elbows on the table at all times to keep it from spilling our drinks from the wobble. Second, the Game Center is a darn joke! 1/2 the games are out of order, a 1/4 of them steal your paid points with each swipe of the play card because the game doesn't start on initial swipe and the working games are not good games but they're all there is so you have no choice to play then. $60 I paid got 15 extra credits and only won 900 ticket points! If beer and sports is all you want, this is a good spot to hangout for adults, kids will break you and get bored within an hour. I honestly speaking would have had more fun, more game time due to better games that work at Chuck E. Cheese!! Highly recommend this place to go with friends. It is family friendly too however the vibe is more for friends or at least adult family gatherings. Place is huge so there's tables for everyone. If you're bringing kids, the downstairs area has an arcade for them to entertain themselves while they wait on food or post meal. Menu has a great and wide selections. Service could be better/faster but we went during the weekend and it gets pretty packed there and staff were busy and on the move all the time. But when we did get served, the server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. There's also a liquor store that provides so many different options to choose from. read more
