We want her to learn to walk well with other dogs and she gets to be with a golden retriever and a yorkie, which is fantastic (a big and small friend). I met karen through my job and the shorehouse she would always come in with different dogs. Any questions I had she'd always offer advice and listen. When I finally found time to I did a session with her and my then almosy 1yr old amstaff Aida, she had problems with pulling and jumping. And let me tell you!!! Brittany is cute, young and sickly sweet - but my first experience was my last. I met her for the first time because I had a 9mo old terrier that needed to be house sat while i went out of town for a wedding. I met her to have a one on one to meet my dog and at the last minute she phoned to tell me she was over booked but had an "assistant" that she works with that was available. I met her briefly the night before i was supposed to leave to give her a spare key and show her around the house. This girl "Katia"? looked to be about 19 yrs old... but DogZenergy was recommended by my vet - so i trusted her. Bottom Line - I called several times while in Park City for a wedding to check in - no returned phone calls. I was totally stressed out that i didnt get any feedback or even a text. (it was my first time leaving him for an entire weekend). When I returned on Sunday afternoon - they keys were left on the kitchen table and there was seriously 5-6 dog poops all over my house! My bed was torn apart and both my antique throw rugs had been shredded. He had evidently been left alone almost the entire time. This is disgusting and an awful thing to do. I called and left several messages for Brittany to call me - but no returned calls. I would NEVER recommend this young girl to anyone. read more

Our family has a particular story to share about how Karen and her exceptionally trained team of dog walkers helped us. Richard, a man in his late 80s, owned Teddy and Dottie, labradoodles. Karen and her team came over daily for years. The dogs waited looking out the window for the walkers every morning. When they arrived, Teddy and Dottie jumped for joy! After several years, Dottie passed. Teddy was alone and Richard decided to move into a condo which did not accept pets. In order to keep Teddy as his emotional support dog and bring him to the new condo, Richard asked Karen to train Teddy as a support dog. Karen herself came several times a week to prepare Teddy. Within a few months, I can honestly say that Teddy was a changed dog. He was totally under control in all situations. Karen even took him to retirement homes where he could interface with tenants/patients, ride in elevators, and be present in dining situations. Just prior to moving into the condo, Richard's reduced mobility necessitated that he give Teddy up. No family could take him, so he decided upon adoption at the San Diego Humane Society. Richard was told that because Teddy was a support dog that getting him a home would be easier. And this was the case. A retired doctor needing a support dog came down from San Francisco and adopted Teddy on the spot. Had it not been for Karen, our lives and Teddy's would not have had this happy ending. We are a big fan of Karen's, needless to say. And of great importance, we always knew that when we left our property unlocked for the dog walkers, that our home and our belongings were safe. read more

I cannot recommend Dogzenergy enough. I have two dogs and a cat and had gone through a local dog walking company to do my overnights and it was a disaster. (dogs were left for hours on end, came home and they were just traumatized) I then tried Rover and this time the walker brought a stranger into my home. I had all but given up on the hopes of finding a reputable service until I found a flyer for DogZenergy. I did two meet and greets with them. The first one was with one of the owners and my dog sitter Molly and the second time just with the sitter. I felt completely at ease both times and was grateful that they were very understanding of my phobia of leaving my pets after my prior bad experiences. Molly my dog sitter watched our pets for a week and I can say it was the first time in 3 years I felt completely comfortable being gone. She sent my husband and I constant text updates with photos and videos. She kept us constantly informed while we were away and it completely eased my anxiety. We have pugs and the one pug needs some TLC for his folds and eyes and she attended to that beautifully not to mention our other pug has leash reactivity around other dogs and she handled that like a pro! Also, we have a cat and I felt that prior sitters neglected her. Not Molly, she brushed my cat and gave her just as much attention as the dogs. She was a purring bundle of joy when I got home, not to mention her coat looked beautiful! Finally, she left my house in order, taking it upon herself to wash my sheets and even going the extra mile to pick up cat litter when we ran out! I came home to find printed photos of my pets and a beautiful framed photo. She even left me a thank you card. I was blown away. But the most important thing was that all three of my animals were super happy and content. Normally when we come home our pets take a few days to come around and you can tell that they are not happy. Not this time, I think they actually missed Molly more than us! I will be using them moving forward for all vacations and will also be arranging some weekly dog walks. read more

Luckily we found Dogzenergy and they had a person stay at our house for four days with our two Springers. Needless to say we were hesitant to use a total stranger. We had a pre-meeting with the caretaker (TL) and he was great and the dogs loved him. Our dogs are on some fairly involved med programs and TL picked it up immediately. We also liked that we had the SAME person for the entire trip.
