They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! Sara (owner of Sarandipity- cute, huh?) and Laura (sitter) came by a day or two before our trip. Met the cats (well, the two of the three that weren't hiding) and we all discussed their care and any concerns while we were gone. Both Sara and Laura are very nice and down to earth - not judging our disheveled house (we just moved in) and the fact that we were frightened (feral cat kind of frightened) to leave. While gone, we received daily texts of collaged pictures and a quick update with how well the cats were doing. Laura (the sitter) kept us tuned in with our cat that was a little anti-social and even asked US for particulars on what SHE could do to assist HIM through his shyness. The trip was great - but we were definitely in a hurry to get home. The house was just as we had left it. Mail brought in, litter box changed, fresh water and dry food given, and Thank God the cats didn't create throw any crazy spraying parties while we were gone. Sarandipity also created a daily log for Laura to complete while visiting the house, (times she came, what she did and the moods of each cat). Thank you Sara and Laura! My dog was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur and I got in my head about her aging. I thought to myself, I'm curious. let's give this a go. I had no expectations! But I got everything I wanted and more. I feel so relieved in knowing how happy my dog is. Jules was absolutely amazing and a joy to work with! She was extremely flexible and answered all my questions and more! I am still a little speechless at how accurate everything was. There were many points in the conversation that validated she was really talking to my 13 year old dog Charlie. I don't have time to talk about everything but I couldn't stop laughing and smiling the whole time I was talking to Jules about her session with Charlie. Charlie's answers were so funny and sweet. Jules translated them in a way that it's like I could hear Charlie's voice. I always thought she would be like a little old lady, very formal and polite but unexpectedly witty. The number one message I am carrying with me from the session is that she loves her life with me and that's all I could ever hope to hear and get from a session.
