Finding an in-home sitter for all my critters is nerve-wracking, to say the least. After having a bad experience with a self-employed sitter, spotty availability with another self-employed sitter, and then deciding not to travel altogether, Leila and her amazing team at Precious Pet Care showed me that their high standard of care meant I could be at ease and take vacations again! I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! I don't know how we got this lucky to have found Precious Pet Care. My 1-year-old Pug Yoshi absolutely adores doggy daycamp with Leila, Jon, and the rest of the team. So much in fact that Yoshi now recognizes the street they're on before we drop him off at daycare and he gets excited! Precious Pet Care checks all the marks for us: they're kind, attentive, close by (bonus points!), and they offer an extensive amount of services that are far beyond my imagination. Who knew my dog could get supervised socialization in an intimate setting, get groomed when needed, and get dropped off by their Magic Pink bus? I mean, I can't with all of this cuteness! I also appreciate that they're flexible with accommodating Yoshi, especially since our work schedules are a little crazy sometimes. This pet sitting service is phenomenal! Rebecca comes over, takes dozens of cute photos of my pets being walked and fed, and gives them so much TLC. I have used Precious many times when on business and personal trips, and always feel confident that my cat and dog are getting the best care in my absence. I'm extremely disappointed and upset with my experience at this dog daycare. I brought my dog in for what was supposed to be a safe "meet and greet" with other dogs. Instead, my dog was attacked by a boxer that staff was already aware had territorial and aggressive behavior.This should NEVER happen during an introduction, especially when the staff is supposed to be trained to evaluate dog behavior and prevent dangerous situations. The entire point of a meet and greet is to ensure safety -- and they failed completely. This was negligent and unacceptable. This situation should have been prevented. Allowing a known aggressive dog to interact with new dogs shows a serious lack of judgment and safety protocols. My dog was put in danger, and this was completely avoidable. I expected professionalism and proper screening. Instead, I left feeling angry, disappointed, and concerned for other dogs that may be put in similar situations. We booked Precious Petcare to watch our two dogs, Leon and Ned, in the hours before our wedding, handle them at the venue, and take them to their boarding locations after the ceremony. It was a great experience! We worked out the details with Leila using her portal a few months before our wedding date. We were able to discuss the pricing and additional services this way. Everything turned out how we planned. On the day of, Leila brought along Anel, and they took the boys from us. From that moment onwards we didn't have to worry about them at all. We learned later from the portal summary messages that they enjoyed a long walk before the ceremony. Leila and Anel also shared a lot of photos, some attached here, which really show the care they put into watching Leon and Ned. We also appreciated how patient they were with our dogs while waiting for them to walk down the aisle. I cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!! First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day. When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory's capabilities as 'temporary' dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands. They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter's terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our 'Ring Bearer' and 'Flower Pup' down the aisle with no issues! They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!). They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself. They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She's so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog! Owner makes false claim at the bottom of this post. I have included the email and photos ensuring that I am reviewing the correct facility. ------ At no point was a vaccination record requested by the facility. Dog was given unrequested food additives; sitters knew the puppy was only five months old and should not be adding "meat balls" to her food. She had bad potties for days after pickup. Also, dog was returned with a piece of chicken wire looking metal caught in her tail. Dog fur was extremely matted, only there two nights. Several "update photos" did not include my dog at all, just a similar size and color dog. Did not request that my five month old puppy be "dressed up" and she was returned wearing some weird bow tie thing that caused issues as it was worn in the pool and then not removed as it was visible in day two photos and still on the dog when picked up. She has developed a night time barking issue that was not present prior to drop off for boarding. Dog was not given her night time blanket, toys, or comfort clothing. The bag she was delivered with was untouched and exactly as packed. Caretaker did not even know what items to return or what was or was not dropped off with her. Not acceptable to dramatically change a puppies diet nor is it acceptable to neglect fur matting. I am still confused how there was metal in the dogs tail, where on the property are they using wire that an 8lb dog could access? Would not recommend. :( Very sad that the dog was returned in such poor condition and to read that the caretakers felt the need to deviate her diet and deny her comfort items. All photos are taken in the same window and do not show -any- of the sleeping quarters offered. --------- I'll reiterate this fact: At no point was a vaccination record requested by the facility. read more

We booked the Wedding Pet Attendant service and met Ashley the day before at our venue for a meet and greet with the dogs. The dogs immediately loved her and we went over the wedding day schedule and the pups' role in the ceremony. The day of the event, Ashley did such a good job handling the dogs while we prepped for the festivities as well as during our photo shoot. Because our venue didn't allow the dogs to stay for the reception, we asked that she take the dogs to our hotel suite to dogsit for the remainder of the event. Her reactions, body language, and overall presence right off the bat was a perfect fit for Carl's personality, and next thing you know we were out of town. While away, Anel sent detailed messages and photos each morning and each night. I felt so well-informed. Most importantly, Anel worked her magic, and Carl was able to warm up to her within 24 hours. This was unheard of before this experience! My husband and I both knew from the photos, he has made a new friend and both of us were so relieved. Anel kept our home clean and tidy, basically as if she was never here. I am traveling and will be in town for an event so reached out to them about dog-sitting my pup for several hours while I am at the event. I was told that they would be able to sit my dog at the hotel where I am staying. I was told she had multiple people available for the day I wanted and who would be able to stay at the hotel with my dog. I told them which hotel and I was told it was fine. I assumed everything was set until I reached out a few days before the event only to be told they cannot do this and I would have to bring my dog to the lady's house where she has several other dogs staying. My dog has severe anxiety and I had specifically requested someone stay at the hotel with my dog because of this. Now it is days before the event and I am stuck trying to find someone else or I may not be able to attend the event that I literally am flying across the country to attend! If she was not able to sit as I requested, she should have communicated that weeks ago so I would have had more time to find someone else. Update: In response to the review, the owner did reach out to apologize and offer assistance. However, it was 3 days after the review and on the day that I needed so was too late. However, at no time in the back and forth of looking for a sitter did they EVER mention the need to create an account or have a call. If a call or creating an account was necessary, why was this never mentioned in any correspondence? If this is an important step, that should be communicated immediately. read more

We dropped off our dog Lucy for a few days because we had a spontaneous trip to Arizona. When we dropped her off she was hesitant at first but after getting to meet the other dogs and Leila, Lucy didn't want to leave. Very disappointing experience. We wanted to go with a company verses an individual so that if one person calls in sick there are others instead. However, our house was a rotating door for many walkers, and we had someone new almost every other day. The walkers either quit (bad management I am sure) or have Covid. Also, very disappointed to catch the owner, Leila, leave early one (who knows how many times before that when we did not see the camera) leave 20 minutes into a thirty-minute walk. Always had parking issues although she knew that when she was hired at $26 for half an hour. We get charged for late cancellations, but Leila can cancel any time. Not impressed. We would not recommend this company. There are other companies around that are much cheaper and unfortunately, we made the mistake of going with Precious Pet. I have no doubt that Leila will have a respond to this post that is not truthful that is not truthful, but we are glad to leave them and move on to a more reliable service. read more
