Highly recommend! We have worked with Pawtopia many times through the years with our dogs and fosters. From basic training to specific issues they always have the knowledge and expertise to help us be successful and make it fun at the same time.

My Irish Wolfhound, Cian, and I have been in private training with Colleen and it has been a wonderful and fun experience. Cian loves her and it's so great to work with someone who "gets" Irish Wolfhounds. When I'm unable to attend a session, she will work with him one on one. This has been a 100% positive experience. Colleen is also very good at training the humans too! We look forward to attending the group class.

I learned about Zoe when I was in a local Pet People and they were offering a free leash class for dogs. I jumped on it as I just adopted a new rescue. I thought Zoe (trainer) was awesome and her approach is positive and informative. I wanted to sign up for her classes right away! I ended up going with private sessions as my pup has some severe separation anxiety and Zoe came right out to my house and set up "lessons" and homework for us to work on. Her advice is spot on and if you follow what she is asking you to do you see improvement almost right away. There is no magic pill you want a trained dog you need to WORK at it and train yourself to be the "pack leader". I will continue with one more private lesson, for leash walking as my dog wants to lunge at everything she sees........so for the price the private lessons are completely worth it!

Jake from Pawtopia just left our home from a training session with us and our dog Ruxin. Ruxin had problems with jumping on people and being attached to me and acting out to get attention. Jake was so thorough and knowledgeable, after the training Ruxin was like a new dog! What was great is that he helped us set up a plan to use everyday and had us doing the work so we know how to respond. We had been looking for a great trainer and so glad we made the right choice! So awesome! Would recommend Jake to anyone!!!

He has wonderful follow up, as well, and doesn't push anything but rather encourages. It has been a wonderful experience and we will work with Fernando again after we've had time to practice what we learned. He took the time to really understand Cowboy's personality and our specific goals. We're currently focusing on preventing "door dashing," improving basic obedience, and walking nicely on a leash -- and we're already seeing major progress! One of the things I appreciate most is Fernando's flexibility with in-home scheduling. It's made the training process so much more manageable for our family. He explains everything clearly and always gives us practical tools and homework that are easy to follow between sessions. Cowboy is responding so well to Fernando's calm, consistent approach, and we feel much more confident as dog owners thanks to his guidance. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, helpful, and reliable dog trainer, Fernando is your person!

I'll be totally honest: as a first-time dog owner to an Australian Shepherd, I was feeling a little underwater. I knew I needed help, but I was so nervous that professional training would be an investment I couldn't justify. That all changed the second I got on a consultation call with James from WhosWalkingWho.com James is one of those rare people who is just... real. He's straightforward and incredibly genuine. Right away, I could tell he wasn't just trying to "sell" me a package or take my money--he actually cared about my situation. He has this amazing way of explaining things that just clicks. If you're looking for a trainer who is professional, honest, and truly "in your corner," you have to call James. I promise you, it's a decision you won't regret!

Are they under new ownership? What has changed?…read more We've used Camp Run-A-Mutt several times over the years for overnight boarding and have always had a great experience, which is why this recent stay was so surprising. When making the reservation, I noticed that a few of my dog's vaccinations would expire during his stay. We took care of getting them updated weeks in advance and made sure the vaccination certificates were sent to Camp Run-A-Mutt. I even confirmed with a staff member at the front desk that they had received everything and that my dog was all set for his stay. A few days before our trip, I received a call saying my dog was missing vaccinations. I asked which ones, and of course they were the very vaccinations we had already updated and submitted. I explained that they had the records, the employee put me on hold, then came back and confirmed everything was in order and said they'd see him on Thursday. Then things got even more frustrating. On Thursday, as I was landing in another state for my vacation, my daughter--who was dropping my dog off before catching her own flight--called me in a panic. She was being told they couldn't accept him because his rabies vaccine wasn't up to date. I immediately called the facility and explained that we had already confirmed his records twice. The employee put me on hold, checked the records, and sure enough, they had his current rabies certificate the entire time. They admitted everything was up to date and accepted him. A few days later, while we were still out of state, I received another call saying my dog was being quarantined and separated from the other dogs because his vaccinations supposedly weren't current. At this point, this was the third time in less than a week that the exact same issue had come up. I again explained that his vaccinations were current and that their staff had already confirmed this multiple times. The employee put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Thankfully, my daughter was only a few hours away and was able to rush over and pick him up. When I called to pay for his stay over the phone and let them know he was being picked up, I was initially told they couldn't accept payment over the phone. That was confusing because I've paid over the phone for previous stays without any issue. When I asked if it was a new policy, the employee admitted it wasn't--they just didn't know how to process a phone payment. They had to get someone else to help before I was finally able to pay. I'm honestly not sure what's changed, but the organization and communication were completely different from the excellent service we've received in the past. The repeated confusion over vaccination records--which they already had on file and repeatedly confirmed--caused unnecessary stress while my family was traveling out of state and ultimately resulted in our dog being removed from daycare and picked up early. We've always been happy with Camp Run-A-Mutt, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope this was just an isolated breakdown in communication, but based on our recent experience, I no longer feel confident leaving my dog there.
