It's an interesting place. This is the first time the coffee maker machine is facing the customers, which means, I make my own ice latte by press a button on this nice fancy machine! I recommend the flan. I'm a flan lover, and their flan is very rich and creamy. It's not as thick as rancho market, but it's deliciously smooth. I also tried the beef wrap, unfortunately it doesn't do much for me. It's more a doughy bread with ground beef in my opinion. read more

Everything is stale and old , the service was good and it looked clean but that was the worst cheesecake and boba shake I had in my life. I can't believe they are okay with selling food that old. Located on a busy corner in South Salt Lake is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE STUDY SPOT! There is ample parking available in the front lot and apparently there is more available in the back, but I have yet to have to park back there. This clean building is well-lit and nicely structured to be able to fit a decent amount of people per table. As a long-time student, this spot has become a staple in my student career after it opened. This LOCATION is pretty prime and in the middle of the city. This spot is OPEN LATE, making it great place to get work done late at night after finishing classes or work. One of my favorite things about this place is the VARIETY OF PRODUCTS they sell. They sell more than just coffee, so I am able to snack on frozen yogurt, sweet pastries, savory pastries, non-alcoholic mojitos, hot chocolate, smoothies, salads, soups, and so many other little snacks. The chairs at this place are so soft, you can sit and COMFORTABLY do your work for hours, unlike other coffee shops who use wooden chairs or plastic chairs. What makes this place the best though are the employee(s) of this business. They conduct themselves with such kindness. She has offered me a free frozen coffee drink in my hard times when I was burnt out and times of pure exhaustion. She has given me trials of new menu ideas and makes funny jokes to make me laugh. One time she moved all of my stuff to the other side of the table and rearranged the tables while I was in the bathroom to make me laugh. The owner himself is a funny guy. He cracks jokes about having to pay every time I laugh and is very sociable with his customers. He offered free mac and cheese for us to try on the menu as it was a new item they were thinking of putting on the menu and the crusted cheese on top was the very best. This family-owned spot is one that I would love to keep to myself, but the barista/employees and the owner deserves so much recognition for their kindness, so I decided to write this review in order to share this great place with everyone else :) read more

I found this place because my car was being serviced for several hours and I was looking for a coffee shop I could walk to and hang out at while I waited. I found Cream and Bean and It's a true treasure with options for drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. I tried a latte, a dirty chai and a matcha while waiting and enjoyed them all. I also had a chicken wrap and a piece of this incredible pistachio pie that was delicious and went great with my chai. I also had a great conversation with the owner who clearly loves what he does and has pride in the store. They also have a punch card for regular customers. This brand new family-owned coffee/pastry/yogurt cafe is such a treat! The owners are gracious and kind. I love supporting locally owned businesses and this is a great one. We've already returned multiple times to try out the different treats they offer. Their mojitos are fresh, the pastries are fresh daily and are delicious. They offer 8 or so different frozen yogurt flavors with fresh fruits/nuts, candy toppings and syrups. I haven't had a chance to stop in for coffee or savory food yet, but everything I've tried is great! My favorite part is actually just the way the place feels! They paid attention to details in the decor and furniture selection. I could sit in their chairs for hours, they're so comfortable! It is quiet and relaxing, a great place to camp out and study/write/think. I can't wait to bring my book club with me, this would be a great spot to hang out and laugh with friends for hours. Made a pit stop here. Place was very clean, smelled great, but it seemed more like a pastry shop than coffee. They had iced coffee but the clerk told me I had to make it. Huh??? It was awkward at first and I'm not a barista. I barely make my own coffee at home. But the lady came around and did it for me. I think the coffee would have to be at a discount if we have to get involved. But I wasn't trippin' cause it tasted very good. It wasn't expensive like Starbucks, etc. She was really nice, apologized for wait when she didn't have to, and I dunno made a good lasting impression. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is all around!! I ordered a fresh pineapple mojito, carrot cake, and a falafel wrap. All three were so tasty I can't wait to go back and try more. I got to meet the owners and they are really the kindest most genuine people you can imagine. They treated me like family after knowing me a few minutes. The cafe makes you feel like you're sitting in Paris during springtime. Perfect place to sit and work. I'm excited to try the frozen yogurt next time and one of the fancy coffees. I actually stopped in for yogurt but left with incredible food and a drink. The yogurt tasted clean and fresh and they had a good variety of flavors, the baklava was a little tough but the flavors were right and he liked the concept of fresh brewed coffee.
