An architect's dream hotel directly across from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino which is the only competition in the area. There are mixed reviews on this hotel. Today, we stopped in to obtain a price comparison between the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel and Dolce. They offered valet (no idea the cost) but parked twenty feet from the entrance at the side of McDonalds. The entrance was ultra modern with two weathered aluminum framed wooden back rest with the outline head of a duck. Definitely took advantage of a picturesque opportunity. The artustuc quality of the lobby was overwhelming with a strong influence on wine. The lobby was basically a wine lounge called Cork Soakers Wine Club with the quote "We Love To Soak The Cork" under the name. Every wall of the lounge was filled with wine bottles presenting a trendy touch of Italy or France. If that was the designer's intent it was well felt. The young girl at the check in counter was bubbly and provided prices for the current winter months. Surprisingly, the weekend rates were not as far apart as I thought for the Guitar Hotel. But, in comparison to the old Hard Rock Hotel they were dead even. The issue is that during concerts the Hard Rock Hotel sells out, so the Dolce would be a great alternative for the night and they offer a shuttle across the street or you can risk crossing the busy 441 traffic in foot. We went up the elevator to take a peek at the G7 Rooftop Bar and maybe gave a cocktail. Breathtaking views of the Guitar Hotel from the bar. The bar and the raised level pool area were top notch. The bartender was there awaiting customers but we were them. The cocktails were resort style prices with NO Happy Hour. We are locals, so we would bring friends here for a few drinks instead of Hard Rock if they had a decent 3p - 6p Happy Hour. Just to enjoy the view from the rooftop would be fun and memorable. The designer did an extraordinary job with dramatic details. To be transparent, we never stayed overnight here but would highly consider it when prices plummet in the summer with hopefully a Happy Hour and may adjust my 3.5 review rating. Second time staying here, both times just for one night before our cruise departure. We like how close it is to the airport (20 minutes) as well restaurants and shopping. Boutique hotel in a somewhat quirky location-behind a McDonald's and just a shuttle ride (available til 2 am) to the Hard Rock Casino. Great views of the Hard Rock Guitar structure from some rooms and rooftop deck. The rooftop pool and area are not to be missed. Great spot for cocktails and a view also. We got a king room that had a view of the Hard Rock Guitar. Spacious room with rain fall shower. If you happen to be on a higher floor (we were on the 6th) you will hear music, etc. from the rooftop bar/club area. They do provide ear plugs with a nice message-bottom line if you don't want to hear the party, ask for a lower level room. The smaller fitness room was next door and part of a mini office park. Ok and had cardio equipment and free weights. A more recent addition is Breakfast in the lobby area with omelette service which was excellent. Also, saw they had Happy Hour in the lobby area. Valet Parking (with in/out) is the only parking option -$35 per night. Service was friendly and exceptional from beginning to end. This has become our favorite area hotel. Extra star for the service. I stayed here for New Year's and had a pleasant experience from check in to check out. I was working a gig at the Hard Rock Hotel across the street, but conveniently the Dolce offers a free shuttle to and from the HR in case you didn't want to cross the busy street and walk. The hotel room looked like it had been updated at one time and I loved the bold choices of the bathroom! Hotel felt clean and comfortable and ear plugs were provided for me under the TV courtesy of Dolce in case I needed extra quiet time while staying in a busy city hotel. I thought this was a very thoughtful gesture. There were coffee and alcohol in the room (age was verified at the check in desk) for my convenience and the shower in the bathroom had a rain head shower and was HUGE. Like the shelf for the soaps and such were so far away on the other side of the shower...it definitely felt like a "party" shower design. Bed was soft and comfortable and the TV was a nice size and picture. The hotel had a NYE party on the rooftop restaurant that I enjoyed with complimentary champagne after my gig was over and it was such a nice view (weather was great) to see the HR guitar all lit up and fireworks going off periodically around. This hotel felt intimate and convenient for events at the HR without staying in the smoky, busy hotel. Not at all what we expected! The hotel did not offer a rooftop bar/nightclub. It was the other way around. The rooftop nightclub offers hotel rooms. Keep that in mind before you book this party hotel. So loud they give noise cancellation earplugs to all the rooms! We were on the fourth floor and had a hard time sleeping because of the noise! The room also lacked attention to cleanliness detail. Dirty coffee, cup, urine stained floor and grime in all the corners. No room service. Would never recommend or stay here again. read more

First stay, it's extremely odd to get to, they share a very small lot with a 24 hour McDonalds across from Hard Rock. It smells amazing, the staff is nice. The restauraunt is extra busy on a Monday, but we walked to the pool area and there are seats to enjoy the view of the lighted Guiitar at night. Very nice. They do not have regular bear, the food is Sushi mainly, desserts are 22.00. I only walked through. The bar is extra small. You have to Valet 35.00 night. Hotel 225. Up and there is a resort fee too. Room is clean and nice with a mini bar. Its a younger crowd of people and a DJ plays outside with a half covered pool for dancing. My room has earplugs???? Free shuttle to Hard Rock. Stay anywhere but here!!! You're better off just shelling out the cash to stay at Hard Rock, you'll be charged a volume of hidden fees that tally up to the same price. They practice "black business" scams. They will even charge you more than the price that you were quoted on their website. Wyndham does nothing--all of their hotels are "franchises." This place is filthy and the neighborhood is disgusting. The only "nightlife" around is the tacky roof top bar (see below), Hard Rock and a bunch of "massage parlors." It is right next to a McDonalds that seems as if it doubles as an open-air drug market. There is no room service nor "amenities." The staff is reprehensible. Rude, dismissive, and incompetent. They close the restaurant prior to dinner and do not serve lunch. Their "breakfast" is awful. Days Inn has a nicer continental spread. This is a kosher hotel, yet the bagels are clearly the nasty frozen type that they sell in grocery store freezers. No working toasters--nothing. The absolute worst issue is the trashy night club on the roof. They blast music that can be heard, across the street, at the Hard Rock through the morning. They know this is a problem, they provide earplugs for those who don't like the "city noise." There is no city, nor noise anywhere around besides there. Hard Rock honors noise ordinance hours. This place deflects and makes excuses about how they "rent out the club" and cannot control the noise. That's a choice, not a predicament. Life is too short to list all of the problem with this nightmare of an "establishment." Mine is shorter due to the insufferable noise pollution. The rooftop bar and restaurant was never open during our entire 4-day stay (from 10a - 5p) as posted and as told by the front desk. Instead, it opened at night as a club, and bouncers were checking everyone's IDs, including my 80-year-old mother-in-law who uses a walker. Their "hot" continental breakfast was cold; we even saw one man take a bite of his food, push his plate to the side, and walk out. My in-laws never had their room serviced even without the Do Not Disturb sign. There was also no safety rail in their shower, which was advertised as an ADA room, which is literally against the law. The water from the shower sprayed onto the bathroom floor itself, making the floor slippery and unsafe. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Stayed for two nights for a concert at the hard rock. We stayed in a simple room on the third floor and had only usual hotel noise from there. The room was clean and comfy, water pressure was excellent. The most stand out part was Carlos the (free) shuttle driver. He's got a great attitude and he's fun. He plays the music for the concert in the shuttle to get people going. Carlos needs a raise! We saved a lot vs staying at the hard rock and it was so quick and easy to get there. I want to be as clear as possible about the pros and cons of staying here. First, this hotel is a brand new property and is the closest hotel to the Hard Rock Casino which is right next door. The hard rock hotel is VERY expensive so we chose to try this hotel instead. Dolce advertises as a kosher hotel and they cater to the Jewish community who observe the sabbath as well, but by no means does this mean visitors of other religious backgrounds should choose not to come. I'm not Jewish and this was of no concern to me, in fact I appreciate that the hotel is willing to accommodate the differences in religions and welcome everyone. The hotel is built on a very small lot and only has valet parking which is in addition to your hotel costs. Do not park your car around the area (near McDonald or the surrounding businesses) as we saw more than one car get a boot within a few hours of parking illegally. Because of the space constraints our third floor room overlooked into local neighbors back yards and half of the window was frosted to compensate for the view the neighbors might get if hotel windows were opened at the wrong time, and while this frosting is thoughtful the backside of the hotel therefore has no real view. The front side does look right at the guitar and it is a pretty cool view, especially at night. The hotel has no real breakfast but they do have a cafe that serves coffees/teas and pastries for a fee. There is a free shuttle that runs guests to /from the casino twice hourly and it was a three min ride back and forth! So simple and convenient. The room itself was well appointed and felt fresh. It came with all the necessary toiletries: soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, make up remover. There was also a self serve keurig as well as some kind of-cups and tea, plus a few bottles of water were complimentary. Our only complaint was the noise. The G7 restaurant/bar on the top floor was noisy pretty late and it felt like the walls and doors were very thin. More than once it felt like the noise outside the room could have been inside with us. I'm not sure what the hotel could do about the noise, but since they are very new they may need to work that out a little. Cute hotel across from the hard rock. It sits right behind the plaza ghost bar is in. Very limited self parking. Towing/booting heavily enforced. Valet services available. Rooms include plenty of closet space, fridge, and a single serve Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom was the most beautiful part of the room. Rainfall shower. Water pressure could be improved. Water doesn't reach the back of the shower. Bathroom came stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Plenty of wash clothes and towels provided. Nice open balcony with a beautiful view of the hard rock guitar. Lobby and hallways were clean. Two elevators for quick service. I love the gold elevator accent doors. Nicely decorated. There is a rooftop restaurant which was closed in observance of a religious holiday. Snack bars available on the lobby floor. read more

Worst Experience I really wanted to like this property, and as a travel agent, I am always looking for places to book my cruise travel clients. This is NOT a property that I will be recommending, nor will I stay here again. Lost reservations, rude and dismissive staff (with the exception of the shuttle driver, he was nice), and rooms two floors under a dance club that is open until 3:15am, playing music so loud that it vibrates the bed, made for an experience that was not worth the price or a recommendation to anyone but my worst enemy. At least the room was clean, great shower, and the bed was comfortable. But don't expect to get any sleep due to the thumping of the dance floor above you. The hotel's solution, free ear plugs with a sign saying: "some people like the sounds of the city, for others, please use these." Thursday October 10th, 2024 I stayed at the Dolce Hotel Hollywood Fl location. In two rooms. One of which is $$350 dollars!!! This hotel has music on the Roof outside Playing so loud you cannot sleep. I called the main desk and was informed it would play till 2:00am. It was interesting when we entered our room when we arrived ...we saw one set of ear plugs and a message board saying "if you do not like street sounds here are complimentary ear plugs". At 11:00pm I was was shocked that the front desk said " Sorry we'd like to give you a discount but you went through a 3rd party. Your hotel is supposed to honor all guests, no matter how they arranged their stay. read more

My wife and I came down to the lobby at 6:50am and saw the breakfast bar was set up and there were plates on the counter next to the omelette station. There was no one around so we each grabbed a plate and a bagel. 5 minutes later, we asked where the cups were for coffee and were told breakfast wasn't for until 7:00am (5 minutes later) so we sat back down at our table. My wife walked over to get another cream cheese for her bagel and a man behind the desk (Andriy) loudly scolded my wife in front of everyone that she needs to wait 5 more minutes to breakfast to start, as if she were an out of control toddler in time-out. Absolutely disrespectful, unprofessional and completely uncalled for. He humiliated my wife to the point of bringing tears to her eyes. Needless to say, it caused her to lose her appetite and she asked if we could go home. I approached the desk to get this gentleman's name and a very sweet young lady named Keiry politely apologized for the way my wife was treated. If your guests "aren't allowed" to eat until 7:00 am, stop putting everything out at 6:55 unless there is someone standing there informing guests the food isn't ready. I'll also add the room seemed clean but the A/C did not work. The unit turned on but it never cooled down. When we checked in, the A/C was set on 75 so we turned it down to 65 because the room was warm and stale. We slept uncomfortably all night because of the humidity in the room and when we woke up, the temperature had gone up to 77 (still set on 68). We will not be returning and cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. read more

Everything about this hotel was slightly off for me. Stayed 3 days. Restaurant closed until 10 pm the last night we stayed due to religious holiday. Really loud ac units at the end of hallways that cycle all night. Really loud music from bar area starting at 9:30 pm and not ending until 2:45 the Tuesday night of our stay when they did open. Showers had bad water pressure. It was an overflow hotel for my conference, they advertise shuttle service but they don't run the shuttle until 2 pm. It was clean and the staff was nice. View of hard rock guitar was cool. Would not stay here again. I really can't recommend it as I stayed at this hotel for sleep and convenience and this one simply didn't click those boxes. read more

We decided to stay here as it was extremely close to the casino and it looks beautiful online. We arrived, confused, as the GPS takes you to some back lot. After finding out way through the MacDonalds parking lot we made it. Valet service was pretty much the only option for 35 per day. The staff was wonderful. Every single person we met was friendly and helpful. After being in our room for about 40 minutes we noticed the AC was not working well. Maintenance arrived quickly and seemingly fixed the problem. Later that night when we get back to the hotel it was comfortable as long as you didn't move around much BUT not cool. I was able to sleep so I did not complain. The next morning I decided to purchase one of the robes they offer as they are so nice and I love the lion on the back. We went down to the cafe and had coffee and a croissant. I have to say it was very good however there were little flies all over the pastries (fruit flies?) this was my first disappointment One day 2 as I was trying to get ready I was sweating. Despite the air being on the room was 81 degrees. They were apologetic and changed us to another room with a nice balcony. Inconvenient, but MUCH appreciated. The main reason I can't give this more stars is the cleanliness. 5/10.... Am I picky? Yes extremely. However this place is brand new so this is something you can really control. I always check under the sheets for stains and use a black light for bed bugs. First room was great. Second room, under those sheets were disgusting. Luckily I had disposable sheets with me and I slept on on top of many layers. There were also handprints all over the headboard. This should be wiped down and sanitized. Towels were gross and had hairs stuck in them. The cleanliness is the main reason I would not return. The restaurant upstairs sealed the deal for me. I was suspicious that the food would even be good in the first place but I went anyway like a fool.- $179 ( they add their own 20% tip) $179 for two mediocre drinks, one appetizer that was just "good" and two horrendous sushi rolls. The rolls were SMALL, barely any fish, full of other crap that distracts you from the fact that there is barely any fish. I don't mind paying if the food was good. Services was just okay. No two bite check back. We got the check immediately and left. There is a little club area that pretty but it's overlooking MacDonalds. Give me a break. That restaurant is literally one of the worst I've been to since I moved to Florida. read more
