Cris Coleman is the best colorist ! She nails it every time! She is experienced and knows how to make the style fit the customers' preference. I started my career as a Realtor® at a small brokerage in February 2020--right before the world shut down. Keeping my hair in top shape wasn't exactly a priority. Most days, I'd throw it up or braid it to the side--always professional, but never something I gave much thought to. Fast forward three years, and a great new opportunity had presented itself career-wise--woohoo! But my hair? It had grown past the small of my back, riddled with split ends that would make Miss Havisham blush. The idea of walking into a salon after years of neglect filled me with dread. Would I be met with judgment? A lecture on my choice of shampoo? Thankfully, Cris at Dolce Salon made sure that wasn't my experience at all! She was incredibly kind, gave me a fantastic cut, and even shared expert advice on how to properly care for my hair. Since my first visit in 2023, I haven't let anyone else touch it! Prior to my cut, my hair was uneven, ends going every which way. I showed Cris a photo, she warned that the "layers" and uneven lengths might require time to balance them out. Diana and her teaching partner (i do not know her name) they were working collaboratively on how to cut my hair which i called "covid hair" because i haven't had it professionally done since 2019 (i cut my own hair, it was not too bad... just dry). They took extra care on how to approach it and style. My hair has that strange complex combination of fine thin and curly coarse. I felt good and at peace knowing i can trust these ladies to do me a huge favor and revive it. My hair was done with intuition, that was amazing and rare. I started off with a facial and the head massage add on, which is totally worth it btw and the aromatherapy and music she integrated made the whole experience so amazing and magical. Then i got my hair cut and styled by Alaura who went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable the whole time and providing commentary on what she was doing the whole time she worked. Pedro is so amazing I have been driving 3 hours round trip for 4 years to get my hair colored by him and only him! I have a lot of hair color + bleach trauma, and Pedro has cured me with his mastery of blonde balayage! After only a couple appointments, he knew exactly what I wanted and ever since, I just walk in, sit down, and let him do his magic. He is also such a geunine and comfortable person to be around. He is so knowledgeable about hair and is always patient with my incessant questions. He is so kind and respectful and will always ultimately do what you want, but he's also not afraid to be honest about what he thinks looks good and he is literally always right :) 100/10 recommend! read more
