It takes a bit of getting used to--at first, the smell and the nothing-but-crap will be abhorrent. Then, you find "it" and you're absolutely certain there are plenty of "its" to search for. When you're digging around in the place, your troubles are miles away since you can only focus on the task at hand. The pricing is fabulous--by-the-pound--and the checkers are so friendly. At first, I was disgusted, but now I'd call myself "a regular"--the search (and the FIND!!!) is the best! Terrific people watching, too. Books are 50 cents and they have furniture and big stuff too. I have found a lot of nice, still tag on clothes here after sorting through along with a lot of good cookbooks and canvas art. Like many small speciality shops, this one can get busy on Saturdays, but during the week I've had nothing but exceptional customer service. They seem to have limited color choices for each shoe, at least the ones I get. This limitation doesn't bother me because I'm there to find the best trail shoes for my needs, not for fashion. On the occasions I've groused about the available color(s), the staff has always offered to order a different color for me - great customer service, but I just buy the best color they have in stock, even if that's neon yellow and blue. I mention the limited color choices because running shoes have become fashion items, and if your goal is to complete your "outfit," or if you're shopping for picky kids, you might not find what you're looking for, at least in stock. But if you're looking for running shoes for running, Rush Running is the best place in Northwest Arkansas.

You can buy a 12-13 pound roast and then cut it up into smaller pieces. This works well for those who want to buy in bulk and makes for a great slow cooker pot roast. The other item I'll get is the full tenderloin. This is a big cash outlay, but makes for about 8 filet steaks once you process it. This then results in about a $5-6 filet. Grill that up with a few sides and a glass of wine and you have a first class meal for about $10. The store's business model is to charge you what it costs them plus $10%. I don't know if they actually sell at cost plus 10% but probably do. Just keep this in mind because when you get to the register, everything costs about 13-4% more, the 10% for the store and the rest is sales tax. When you walk in, you will get the feeling that this is a no frills store. It isn't some place where I really want to spend time browsing so I'm mostly in and out. The good deal on meat makes up for the lack of glamour.
