So the transaction is still showing pending but I have no gas. I went inside to see what was going on and was THEN told that Apple Pay at the pumps was down. I asked for a receipt for proof that the transaction was canceled - because I'm aware that THAT would just about instantly get the authorization hold off my debit card. The manager on staff - Tristin - got an attitude with me about it. And said he couldn't give me a receipt for what isn't there. I am fully aware of how gas station authorizations work with debit cards. Maybe y'all should update your training so Tristin and your staff understand the same. Thank God I have a backup card and account. Which I will take elsewhere for my gas from now on. But I'll still stop by and use y'all's restrooms for free. Best believe that.
