I visited this location almost two months ago looking for inexpensive planters for my deck. It is located away from other stores but worth the find! They have great selection of garden/planting items. Food/snack selection is also very good. Very happy with the selection of different items. Cashier was very nice and happy to check me out (this means a lot in this current retail environment). I will visit this location again and would recommend it. I placed an order on the phone. The guy who took the order does not understand English!!! We went to pick up the order and he made the wrong sandwiches...You can be ignorant about the job you do, because you can learn it later, but to be rude on top of it is too much to handle or accept. The place smells bad, the moment you enter. Is this really Italian? No, I doubt that. I have been to Italy many times, this is a bad impression. We moved in the area two months ago and I shopped and Love DG but this location is the dirtiest store and a hazard to walk in. I am handicap and use a walker and the floor tile are in disrepair, aisle are you extremely narrow, merchandise on the floor and lastly staff to busy on their phones?? talking to family to assist because shelves are bare in a lot of categories. I have shopped Pomona, Chino then they closed then I shopped Montclair and Ontario and would rate all a 5. Why is this one open it is an embarrassment to your company. read more

Why did I just discover this store now? The staff and especially the manager and district manager are amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. That take pride in their store and keep it as organized as they can even when they have those customers who come in and wreck the place. I've seen it with my own two eyes. Letting kids throw merchandise all over the place and leaving toys on the floor while the mother is down a different aisle. They have a great selection considering it's small. The picture you see on the internet is not what the store looks like on the inside. Baskets were broken, busted bags of potted soil all over the front of the store and big bulky packages in need of distributing all in a hazardous area in front of the store. If it wasn't for my quick reflexes I would of fell. Walking down the aisle, mostly every item was out of its proper places. When looking for employees to assist me, I could not find them. Instead I heard them in the corner behind a aisle gossiping. Then when I approached this one employee Jenny, she was so rude and disrespectful to me. She gave me a look and from the tone of her voice as if she didn't want to be there. I would not recommend this store to the elderly, or to people that are use to shopping in a cleaner, well organized store! This place right here has the absolute best customer service ever. Daniel Cynthia and Johnny are top notch and make this store flow smoothly. They are patient with everyone. Their professionalism should not go unnoticed. The store is clean and easy to find items. This store is overwhelmed with the couponing community and they still handle with such ease. Dollar General should open another location in the Los Angeles area it is very needed. I will definitely be coming back to this store they are great employees and show it in their great attitudes. My family moved her from PA when my mom was just 12 years old n Mario's has been apart of our lives! my Grandpa Dominick new the owners n when we go in the grandchildren remember my mom n my grandpa! Sadly we are no longer part of the Glendale community but we go to Mario's as often as possible! we will never go to another Italian Deli as long as we are 1hr away n Mario's stays open! Went in today to do my couponing as always. I was informed today that the coupon policy had change. But the policy was not posted anywhere to be read. I was met by Daniel the store manager who was horrible. He was so rude and didnt want to answer any of my questions. I asked to see the policy and he refused to show me. I asked where I could find the policy and he refused to tell me. I asked for corporates number and he refused to give that to me to. There were 4 other people in the store with coupons like me and he refused to take them. I'm so disappointed in this store. I will contact corporate. :( read more

I love Dollar general They have AWESOME prices so it is worth for me to drive up here from downtown LA but totally worth it and Coupon friendly !! Maria a store Manager is really nice and friendly. She doesn't mind when using coupons like other Managers at different stores. Sometimes they do hide the discounted items but if you look around good you can get a good deal. I am SO glad this store opened here in Inglewood, we really needed a grocery/All around store. It's really nice, remodeled and the staff must be happy as there were smiles all around. Clean store, well stocked (Even better than that new "El Super" that opened across the street!) And the prices are great. You can get better deals here than at "99 cent stores" sometimes. This is a good find as the L.A. area has only two of these stores (the other in the OC). Very good selection, well stocked and great service too. Parking can be tight, there is street parking available if necessary. With the Covid 19 in place the store closes at 7 PM each day which does not reflect hours on Google Maps or Apple Maps. Overall a great experience, definitely will come back here in the near future. read more

I was so disappointed in this Store today. I have shopped here on many occasions and always had a pleasant shopping experience kind, friendly helpful clerks. Well today dealing with the Manager Daniel was horrible he was rude and not willing to offer any type of help regarding what he said was the new store policy. We were traveling a distance as we do not live close to this store. My daughter and I got to the store bright and early 7:00 am to take advantage of the sale on Gain products.We got our Gain soap and Gain Fabric softener got in line. The customer in front of us was having problems with DG digital coupon on their phone app the clerk called the manager over to assist he told the customer that they no longer accepted Digital coupons, at that time we asked him if there was going to be a problem with our printable Mfg P&G coupons he told us as of Tuesday they were no longer excepting Digital or Mfg Printable coupons my daughter asked Daniel to please show us on DG's website where this new policy was posted and his reply was no he would not show us. Daniel you were one of the rudest people I have ever meant you seemed to have a problem with being asked questions regarding the stores policy, kinda seemed like you did not completely know the policy or where to find it on DG's website.My family will not come back to the store until there is a new manager in place. .. read more
