Great selection but the service has fallen down, the way so many Dollar Trees fall: one of the more experienced employees has now started to turn this Dollar Tree into their own little social club, taking forever at the cashier now due to socializing at the register at length, and also getting super moody if others don't feel like playing along & customers are merely in a rush. God forbid if you're preoccupied or just not wanting to chitchat, they now act like you walked into their party and didn't say hi to the host , they launch into socializing at random, just keeps goin while we all wait in line. It's such a headache that I won't be coming back for a while. It's not the end of the world , there's many locations with professional staff. But some of us customers are in a big rush , and it's not some personal insult, it's not that deep, we just need our sliced bread put in a bag. There was someone exactly like this at the Ralph's right across the street from this dollar tree. Lots of customers were put off by that Ralph's lady who did the same 'social club' thing. She'd get so angry when customers were preoccupied or listening to earbuds or in a rush. if you just wanted to get your groceries they'd act like you were actually hurting them. Others also complained about her. I stopped going to Ralph's for a while until I saw that the person was not working there anymore. read more

The associate that serviced is was nice. The selection of sunglasses we purused was plentiful and vast. For sunglasses that cost only a dollar, how can you lose. The glasses are still holding up after 2 weeks. read more

I love this store . I felt like a kid in a candy store . They have just about anything you need to decorate for the holidays or if your having a party they also have household items and some food items . The store was clean and the shelves were well stocked . I will definitely come here again . read more

I guess the manager thought it was funny when she told the one guy on the register to pick up his pace as she and another employee laughed and left.there are15 people in line and it's funny to leave one guy on the register. Two people asked the one guy if he could call the manager. I told them the manager was the one who thought it was funny when she left him out here. She heard me so she said I have something to do I will be out in a minute. I still let her know it wasn't funny. When you have paying customers you don't laugh and leave. When are they going to change their name to Dollar Twenty Five cents store. Nothing is $1 anymore. If they would have left their prices at $1 business would have skyrocketed because people are struggling and need a bargain lowest price possible. They would have sold out of everything. Raising prices you'll lose customers and money. I get better prices at supermarket sales. read more

Tuesday evening, I came into Dollar Tree (store#4995) and bought 7 items paid $7.65 and ask for $40 cash back. I took the $40 cash back and went to go get gas and some other things and was told by the clerk that my $20 was fake. I then called Dollar Tree and discussed with them that my dollar bill is fake and I was first told by the assistant manager that the manager would review the tape and she would give me back my $20 if I was on the tape. When I actually came to the store spoke to the same assistant manager she told me that the store manager said that I needed to call corporate and make a complaint because I should have checked the bill before I left the store. I have never gone to an ATM and pulled out money and had to check for the authenticity of the bill. This dollar tree is always messy and now they are handing out counterfeit bills. I want my money back! read more

Decent area with nice parking. They have all the normal dollar tree items. Store is stocked fairly nice and isn't too out of order like some other locations. Make sure to check expiration on all food! Almost grabbed some cookies that were 4 months expired. The customer service is completely lacking! The gentleman Wilber who was cashing me out had on sunglasses and had the face expression of an abused child. I know your job sucks, but hey a smile goes a long way! They have cheep items and it's the best dollar tree in the hood, so I'll continue to shop here. read more

I visit this Dollar tree often. I'm really happy they opened near by. I have two main issues with this store: #1. They hardly ever have more than one line open, so the line is usually terribly long. #2. The parking lot has hardly any lights. I'm VERY scary to walk from the store to the car after the time changes. read more

I am very disappointed with a recent experience my Mom and I had. On 6/5/17, my mom purchased approximately $30 of items that she did not open and sought to return for a refund. The items were not used and we had a receipt. It was then that we were FOR THE FIRST TIME advised by management that the store/company has a no refund policy. We asked how we could be bound to a policy that we never had notice of and was not posted in the store and the cashiers do not advise about when completing the transaction. The manager directed us to contact corporate customer service to speak with a district manager who could override the policy. Since that time I have contacted the corporate customer service department and have been (1) put on hold (2) transferred to a voice mail that is full (3) transferred to a "busy signal" or (4) transferred to the "ordering" department to speak with employees with no authority to assist. It is clear to me that the Dollar Tree seeks to deter customer complaints. This is not fair and it is bad business. Very disappointed. read more

This location used to be the old post office and is not as large as other Dollar Tree stores. Since the store opened recently it still looks new and isn't crowded. I like how neat and organized the merchandise is. Service was average. read more

I have called that number listed twice been on hold for over an hour both times only to be transferred to a voicemail with no name or greeting. I live in Inglewood Ca and I have A complaint against one of the stores in my area. This store located at 811 N La Brea Ave, Inglewood, CA 90302 store number 40995 has really let me down. This store use to be very diverse yet slowly every employee of another race accept Hispanics have disappeared they are now down to one single black employee all the other workers are Mexican. I don't understand how whoever is doing the hiring became a manger in the first place because this is clearly unprofessional, bias, racist and not to mention I believe it's against the law. There is more than one of race of people in this world and they don't see anything wrong with what's going on, how is their district manager not looking at this and seeing the injustice here. I clearly don't understand how this is able to happen. I was in the store yesterday and I watched the manger practically slave and speak to the only black employee like crap while she had the new young inexperienced Hispanic boy running the register with the line to the back of the store as always while yelling at her asking how many boxes she's done then slamming the office door while she was replying. The racism is clear and it's sad Inglewood is Predominantly black area and multi cultural area this behavior is unacceptable and some one needs to speak up and something needs to be done I'm sure the employee is going to quit soon every time I see her she looks sad and deserves better shame on you dollars tree do better!!! read more

I visit many times and somewhat receive adequate service. Most of the store is organized and there is a wide variety of items. Recently I visited the store in search of a plunger. The store was about to close when I arrived and the cashier made it seem as if the store was already closed, I told her there was a few minutes left before the listed hour. She allowed me to go into the store and purchase a plunger rushing the entire process with unnecessary anxiety that made the situation stressful. I was ecstatic that I was able to get the plunger because I was in dire need of one. Overall I feel that the stores should have the correct hours of opening and closing because it is misleading to have information posted that is false or not properly followed through. read more

This is the worst dollar tree I've ever been too. There is always long limes with 1 cashier. Today is a holiday again only 1 cashier with a put 15 people in line. Cashier calls for help on the page line twice, no one comes!! Cashier looks nervous of course because customers are wondering where is the backup and are voicing their thoughts. Still, no one comes to assist him. There are several people on the floor stocking but none come to help. FINALLLLY the manager calls the cashier and says no one is there to help, basically he's on hos own!! WTH?!? Aren't managers supposed to come out and help where their needed? Well manager Susan or Susie failed to do her job. This is a holiday and common sense would be to have cashiers come into work because everyone knows there is always last minute customers. I'm done with this dollar tree and other customers in line also said so. 99 cent store here i come! read more
