I was coming from an appointment and spotted this dollar tree while my way home. I have been meaning to stop by as I do a few crafts for Xmas. The value of all the materials I need can add up. Instead of shopping going to Michael's, I decided to try and see if I could find all my needs under this dollar tree roof. I try to avoid certain stores as I tend to buy more than I need at times or spoil others. There are just many items we can use daily here for 1.25 now. folks are still having a hard time adjusting to the inflation, but it has been some time now, folks. Let lines move quickly. I have to admit that this location has grew on me. Although it doesn't look like a brand new store on the inside, you would think it is from the customer service. The cashiers are so polite and they work so hard to keep the customers coming back. One such cashier is Diana. I admire an employee who may be have unforeseen difficulties but still help the location shine by the way they treat each and every customer. She was a doll. I hope she's there on a constant basis. I'm not sure what it is about discount stores. It seems majority of the employees have a discount attitude. However, this Dollar Tree was quite pleasant. The male cashier was jolly, and smiling and this was before the holiday season was underway. The store was rather messy, and the line was long as only one register was open. My niece and I came to get stuff for a movie night party. They had everything we needed including the plastic popcorn tins and the paper ones along with the popcorn to go in it. There was no shortage of candy either, so it made our mission extremely easy to complete. I wish this location was closer to me. Today will be the last day I visit this store. The store is always messy. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in months. The cashiers always have attitudes. They have no customer service what's so ever. And if you're not of black race, you will not be greeted. I've been to quite a few DT, and I must say this DT was very clean well organize and the staff was very accommodating. Everyone had their mask on and had their gloves on which is a plus for me. The Park lot was also clean. My cashier's name was Ezara who was very attentive and very professional, and her people skills were very valuable for me as a customer. People need to understand that it's not easy dealing with the public and that it's not right for the customer to think that we could criticize the staff because we're spending a dollar for every thing we buy. I have been shopping here since the day this location opened. Unfortunately because of the service today is my last day shopping here. Upon arrival a cashier by the name of Chasity was extremely rude from the time that my family and I walked in. She didn't greet/welcome us into the store. When we checked out she had an attitude and came off as if she didn't want to be at work. She gave no eye contact and hurried to rushed us out of the store. I truly feel that if this store wants to keep a high volume of returning customers, proper service needs to be given at all times. This Dollar Tree just opened about a few months ago. The parking lot is a pretty good size. I couldn't check in here because Yelp doesn't know this business exist yet. I was greeted with a warm welcome once I arrived. I basically go to this chain of stores to purchase household items, plus when they say it's $99, they mean it. They have a variety of new well known products. Being a brand new store it was very clean, organized, plus items were stocked and neatly placed on the shelves. The staff was friendly. They do not charge you for bags and the bags are not that cheap plastic but are heavy duty recycle bags. read more

I have to agree with everyone regarding Chastity. OMG! I don't know why I am surprised to see other comments about her SMDH. Today was my first interaction with her and she had attitude for absolutely no reason. Shaking her head and responding "I know what I'm doing" when asked for an extra bag because she was stuffing all of my items in one bag. I would hoo you know what you're doing when all you have to do is scan and pack badge. If you don't like your job, get another one. If you're miserable and angry, seek therapy. First, I have never been to a Dollar Tree store where the staff doesn't greet you when you walk in, until now. Maybe a manager issue? I went on Saturday to get balloons. The people are so rude when it comes to balloons. I didn't know u had to stand in line first to get them. Then the lady was mad because I made a slight change. I swapped one design for another. Btw I did this B4 she blew up any balloons but I still got an eye roll. I'm going to still get my balloons at dollar tree because it's a bargain but I'm bringing my bad attitude repellent spray next time. The store is always junkie, even after it opened. On Sat afternoon I went into this location to get dusters for My store. It too me a minute to find what I was looking for but I did. The line was long as usual..... When it was my turn to be rung up for my merchandise I handed the lady the 2 dusters that I did want she scanned them. I then gave her 2 more hold them out to her I said these I don't want. She then scanned those I said I don't want those. Her response was you should have said that, as she grabbed the ones I did want and began to take the off. I said I want the first two I gave you the other 2 I don't want, you weren't paying attention. She threw the dusters on the counter and threw my receipt on the counter. I shop at this Dollar Tree approximately once a week. The customer service here is usually okay. Today it was very poor. The cashier who assisted me name was Tenessa (per my receipt). I brought in my own bags which were nicely folded. As Tenessa rung up my purchase, I noticed she was not bagging the items. I paid for my purchase and my items were still sitting on the counters. Tenessa proceeded to assist the next customer. I asked if she was going to bag my purchase and her response was no. I inquired as to when the policy changed where the customer has to bag their own purchase. Tenessa stated, "If you purchased a Dollar Tree bag then I will bag your items, I not touching personal bags because a roach dropped out of one before. I told Tenessa, that has nothing to do with me today and her customer service skills were poor. Tenessa said if I felt that way then don't shop here anymore. This location has been open for a very short time and is already a disaster. I went in on a Monday about 7pm. Every aisle was half empty and there were boxes everywhere. The manager who was talking to another employee - while on his cell phone - were both dressed in street clothes and nothing to identify that they were D.T. employees. I was in the Dollar Tree located at 2542 W Manchester Bl Inglewood CA 90305 5/8/17 at 12:09pm, for the 3rd time and like the other times, there was only 1 basket and it was being used, I needed a cart because I had my grand baby with me and need more than 1 item. I tried to speak to the Manager Steven who was extremely rude and keep talking over me and trying to make a scene. The store was dirty and messy. He should be fired! I had a baby in my arms and he tried to squeeze by me and my grandbaby with his disgusting body! I have pictures of him and the very messy and disorganized store.
