Prices are high and the restrooms are horrible, but usable most of the time. Some great meat sales come up, but since they don't advertise you never know until you get there. They should really advertise in the Our Town Magazine since everyone reads it. Anyway, overall, the meat and deli are worth stopping by for. Staff is wonderful and helpful - give it a try!

I don't usually shop here because of how…read moreoverpriced things are, but when I found the biscuits there was a sign stating they were on sale at 2/$. Pleasantly surprised I also took a tube of Cinnamon rolls, as they were also on the sign as 2/$5. When I tried to check out they rang up at the regular price. When I told the cashier she started looking thru all the flyers, so I told her there was a sign right in front of the Pilsbury products. After about 5 minutes she comes back shouting for the manager and that I picked the wrong size. When the manager came ove he started to give me crap about how I picked the wrong size. When I mentioned to the cashier that the sign they put up said 2/$5 she shouted at me that she didn't put up the size. At this point I left after leaving them with a few choice words. To be fair the manager offered to honor the price posted (as the law requires). The damaged was done. If you treat your customers like they give you a headache, don't worry they will go away, like I did. I just wanted some biscuits for dinner, but after being treated like I was trying to get away with something, I will never go to this store again. And I will let others know my story. GOODBYE!

They also have a large selection of different types of cheeses, cured meats everything you would need to build a great charcuterie board. Their prices are pretty decent because of their weekly sales. I am one of those who like to shop from the sales circular. I would definitely recommend that you download their app. It's really a great app because you can clip virtual coupons so when you check out and scan your membership card, discounts will be applied right away. Don't forget to load coupons. The app also tells you what aisle an item is if you are looking for particular things so you don't have to waste your time wandering around if you are in a rush. This place also has their own sort of liquor store. They don't sell hard alcohol but they do have wine, beer, coolers, etc. Great new addition in the area.

Either it is on sale or it is not on sale. Always thought it was pointless. But today was the final straw. We bought three cases (one "offer") of Poland Spring 24 packs of bottled water on Sunday. The sale was 3 for $10 (and change) "Limiit four offers". So we bought 9 more on Tuesday (3 more "offers") for which they charged us $51 (and change). When I went to customer service the assistant manager "Al" said to get the sale price we would have to have purchased all four "offers" (12 cases of water) at the same time. Is it on sale or not? This was just an obscene "gotcha" scenario where they felt it necessary to screw their customers out of $20. I've been shopping in this store for years, even when it was in Montague. I must have spent thousands there, probably tens of thousands. I will never spend another nickel at Shop RIte. I returned the 9 cases for a full refund so they dont even get the $20 they tried to screw me out of.

The selection of products isn't quite the variety of some of the main Price Choppers, and this location is a little on the older side. The layout isn't quite as organized as some of the other newer Price Choppers. Some employees were out stocking the shelves, keeping up with the flow, but it was impossible to find employees working the floor and the lines in places such as the deli were enormous and delayed. The sales tax in PA is 6%, as opposed to NY's skyrocketing tax rates. This is conveniently located just next to the state line, and is cheaper than buying in NY. For those NY residents who happen to be in the area, it's a cost savings to stop in NJ and fill up your tank with cheaper gas, and stop into PA (right down the road) to shop here for cheaper groceries. Doing business outside of NY is always a cost savings.

When you enter this beautiful store, fresh organic produce in abundance are presented. Prices are on par or even better than Whole Foods. I love their self serve bins of bulk ingredients especially the nooch! Iykyk! The cold refrigerator offers an abundance of healthy options, love their plant based vegan products such as yogurts, milks and cheeses. Found my favorite jackfruit brand of frozen ingredients. Lots of vitamins offered for healthy living. Freshly grounded nut butters. Gluten free options aplenty. Healthier snack options like chips, ice cream, nuts and lots of chocolates. We've been going weekly and I can confidently say The staff are always amazing! So helpful and insightful. They offer a coupon book which can easily be used in store. Complimentary hot coffee is offered for shoppers making for an enjoyable shopping experience. Definitely worth the extra effort off route 17 south to explore this local gem of a market!

It's a little hard to miss, however you can see it once you've entered the shopping center. Family owned and operated since 1987. Think of Whole Foods, much less busy, not a whole lot of rushing (which is a good thing) and you take your time to browse around the smaller store. The quiet and calm was cool, for a Thursday evening, not too shabby. We came across a lot of products we haven't seen before. Great options from a vast majority of gluten free to bring your own containers for pasta to help reduce waste. Plenty of signs to look at and read what we can do to be proactive with our bodies, lifestyle and the environment. I loved knowing this was a smaller scale. We accidentally forgot our reusable bags, however bought a new MOM'S insulated bag. Until next time, we will be back!

I love trying new things and love that most staff know their departments and aren't hesitant to share opinions when asked and sometimes even when they aren't. It reminds me of old school service, and I haven't been steered wrong by their input yet. When this location first opened, I constantly had issues checking out at the front registers. For example, a deal might be advert but not reflected on my receipt, or I could buy three lemons and be charged for four mangos and issues like that. So, I am diligent about checking my receipts, but I haven't caught any issues like that in the longest time. I love that if I come in for items in one of their specialty areas, I can just check out right there and skip the front registers all together. I think this is why I do more impulse buys here than other supermarkets. The prices are high, but I've heard staff say they are treated well. Because of that, I don't mind paying extra. I actually hope the store expands so I can avoid shopping at stores without that reputation. I might avoid this location's gift shop, though.
