No one even apologized when they verified I had paid for this stupid lotion. These are people I have had multiple interactions with and they were so sure I stole a lotion. Some people may be okay with waiting behind 20 people in line for a self checkout but I'm not. I almost abandoned my basket and walked out but got lucky with a line of five people waiting at the other end which to me is still unacceptable. There are 22 full service check out lanes and at the most only five are ever utilized at the same time. Why not replace the unused ones with more self check out lanes? Even more frustrating is when the line doesn't move because multiple people are stuck waiting on the one employee to solve their register/scanning issue. I was looking for a decent insulated tumbler because mine were wearing out as in the painted surfaces on the outside were scratched or wearing off. I found Meijer had the Tervis tumblers in stock with a decent selection of styles and variety. I like the stainless steel kind but wow; one costs $29.99. I was also looking for wall calendars and had shopped multiple stores with no luck. Meijer had a whole pallet parked in the aisle with about 50 different selections. That was exactly what I was looking for. I was also shopping for a couple of new sauce pans but like all the other stores I shopped at for these items, nobody wants to sell a pair of matching sauce pans separately. Everybody wants you to buy a whole set of cookware in a big box of a minimum of ten pieces but usually more. I did end up going that route but not in this store.

They offer U-pick apples & Pumpkins or if you're in a hurry they're ready to grab from the red barn. Pumpkins are super reasonably priced at $.40 a Lb or pie pumpkins for $3. The concession stand is open on Saturday & Sunday. I love the fried biscuits with apple butter & of course you must get the apple cider slushies!! I don't remember seeing it prior, but they had apple cobbler warmed up with ice cream, delicious! I just love this place so much! Don't leave without a bag of apples, Carmel apples, apple cider & get some of those fried biscuits! Highly recommend bringing the whole family.

Their deli meats hams, bologna, turkey breast , pickle & pepper loaf, chicken breast, salami, pepperoni, plus cheeses, pasta salad, coleslaw, chicken salad, pineapple walnut salad, feta salad, and potato salad. They even have my cat's favorite Friskies pate cat food. How many convenience stores stock five kinds of cat litter? And charcoal for grilling out? A lot of helpful employees were working here the Tuesday afternoon I visited. I didn't know anybody still made pickle & pepper loaf lunch meat.
