Sure, the cord's a little short (only just barely lets my phone reach my pocket while in use) and I have to set the volume at max to reach the same decibel as half-volume on my usual pair, but the sound quality is way way better than I'd expect for a single dollar. Great place to pick up gift wrap, party decor, emergency dishware, cleaning supplies (fake Swiffer dusters FTW!), popsicleish frozen treats, and frozen appetizer-type snacks, burritos etc (absolutely, totally check expiration dates though! ). It turned out to be the perfect place for us. They deal in rustic, farmhouse style furniture, which is what we like. While they don't have an enormous selection of sofas, they had a few pretty perfect sets, and they were priced very nicely. Every week, they have a different sale running. You can follow them on Facebook to see the current sale. The stock they have all appears very sturdy and high-quality. None of this bogus particle board. They also had a large selection of rustic home decor. The store has a treasure hunt feel to it, and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. No pressure with just the right amount of interaction, and all the questions we had were answered happily. We picked out the living room set we wanted, and Fernando explained to us the financing options, he'd seen me looking at the Snap Financing pamphlet on the way in. 90 days same as cash. We were not ready to take it home with us, so we put down a payment on layaway and came back three weeks later, finished the financing paperwork in about five minutes, and they loaded up our brand new sofas.

This commissary tends to have better options than the one on FT Sam. I have found a lot more of the staple items that I like to get, here at Randolph. Also, any of the times that I have shopped here have not been too crowded, which is nice. The store is very well stocked & clean. The layout is not too bad either & better than other commissaries that I have shopped in. Generally speaking, commissary pricing is usually close to what you would pay out on the normal economy, however I have seen some items that have been higher than say, Walmart or HEB. But, the trade off is that you're not paying tax on your groceries here, so it kind of evens out at times. I also appreciate the fact that the times that I have been here, the self-checkout line has not been insanely long. I imagine it probably can be though, depending on what time of day you are shopping. Fortunately, I live about equal distance between here & FT Sam, so I can easily go to either, since they both have different offerings. However, this will definitely be my go to.
