Well, where it's located is a cute plaza with historical murals. This store has a connected coffee shop to it. On the weekend there's a farmers market. Right beside the coffee shop is a dog friendly brewery.

I stumbled upon them in the Journal Plaza during a recent trip to Lake Placid and was pleasantly surprised by the large inventory of cool items. When you walk up they had a discount area that was 50 percent off. Inside the store some of my favorite items included the orange blossom scented candles from The Grove, the exquisite jewelry, succulents, kiwi and watermelon slices coasters, wish jar kits, Lake Girl T-shirts, map decor items of Lake Placid, and handbags. I saw many one of a kind items. If I have one small criticism it is that everything that was not on sale was very expensive. They did have some more sales in the store on jewelry and those items were very affordable. If you picked out a gift from here, I am sure the recipient would be very happy. Blueberry Patch has an eatery in the back called the Good News Cafe but it was closed during my visit. This is exactly the kind of store I love to browse around in. You can get a ton of ides for your home decor. If money is no object, you are going to love shopping here.

There murals that go from one end to the other seriously set this place apart. They are located in Lake Placid, which is a mural capital and has them in tons of spots. This Walgreens is no different with a variety of them artistically featured. I love that they embraced their towns claim to fame! Be sure to explore the whole building as the art goes the whole length! Overall: A Super unique Walgreens that has 'leaned in' for their town's claim to fame!

I don't think you Floridians know how good you have it with this fabulous supermarket chain. This store, like others, is bright and clean. It is well stocked and super easy to shop. Lots of products, all laid out and looking pretty. Associates are cleaning and stocking and smiling. I had no trouble picking up some snacks for lunch and maybe some snacks for later.
