The cashiers/workers are super nice and just very friendly. There are various items from which to choose - from clothing, to candles, to jewelry - all quite unique. Turns out she had a great couch that was perfect and a floor model and was right in our price range. She shared the name of a mover who arrived within 30 minutes, Joe Picked it up and brought it right over to the apartment. Great experience all around. She had other sofas in stock (not tons, but nice, simple, neutral and comfy couches) In addition to sofas, they had beds. Tables. Nice dining sets and floor carpets. Definitely worth going to see. They are closed Monday and Tuesdays but you can visit the website and call in and ask if the model is available. The turn around time seemed much shorter. Great and helpful customer service! A few of their regular employees are no longer there and the ones who are there are not friendly. Thrifting is a fun hobby - almost like a treasure hunt, but whoever is pricing the items in the store have priced out of the thrift store range and more into boutique level shopping. She told me this is a multi generational woman owned store and it shows. There is some amazing thrift and vintage in these racks at all different price ranges (a bunch more accessible stuff and then some higher priced vintage dresses and pieces). If you enjoy the hunt this is a great spot for it! I walked away with an incredible pair of leather pants, a cashmere zip up hoodie, a macrame vintage bag and two mid century modern gorgeous coupe type glasses for like $80! Any one of these individual trendy/timeless items could've been in a high end shop for $80. Because these items are vintage and I believe many are priced by individual sellers you will have a myriad prices, but I saw several people that had picked up items. I would say for items that are vintage/secondhand the prices are a little more than I'd like to spend. There was actually a lot of foot traffic there for a random Tuesday afternoon.

I've never been to the Tallahassee Flea Market but have driven past it many times without having the time to stop. I am glad I finally got to check it out, spending time perusing the mix of items for sale including baby bunny rabbits, automotive tires, antiques, clothing, shoes, housewares and more all while munching on exotic lychee fruits! Sweet! So what's not to like? So on a morning when the Flea Market should have been sprawling with vendors and customers, it was instead rather sparse on both accounts. There were way more empty vendor tables and stalls than there were occupied. Most of the vendors seemed to be long term Flea Market regulars that are like permanent fixtures there. So as I walked the entire Flea Market I wondered why there aren't more vendors, and hence probably more customers... I would return if I was looking for an "off the wall find." I did make some fresh vegetable purchases before leaving.
