I know it is just a Dollar Tree, but given it's location at the corner of Roswell Road and Hammond Drive in Sandy Spring...I expected better. This DT is tucked in the corner of Hammond Exchange shopping alongside Marshalls, Whole Foods, Petco and several other eateries and shops. Parking is plentiful for as it is shared for the entire complex, however on this end of the lot the lanes are narrow and the spots go all different directions, so be careful. Walking up to the building, you are greeted with a faded Dollar Tree building sign and then when you walk in, it doesn't get much better. The floors have gunk all over them and spots where they appear clean, they are in rough shape. Product wise, this location is very limited and what they do stock, they do not have...as there were just as many empty shelves as there were "full" ones. Additionally, this location has a very limited snack section, so if you are looking for that $1 snack and food haul, this location is not the place for you! Overall, this location needs some help...bad. It is in poor condition, stocked poorly, disorganized and just overall unpleasant to visit. read more

The employees go out of their way to welcome you & offer assistance. It's Dollar Tree, so you know you will find just about anything & at a very low price point. I come here for plastic/paper & certain cleaning products. I also use Dollar Tree for donation items. Usually restocking is taking place so I don't mind maneuvering around in the isles to search for that "you can't beat that" price point. For the upcoming holiday I picked up some picture frames, cards & candies to give out, 5 of each & less than$15. Located in the Hammond Exchange shopping plaza. read more

This store needs good management and a remodel , it's in such a bad condition. I went there 2 days in a row and it felt like there was a tornado went through the store . Everything on the floor , box's everywhere , staff walks off when you are about to go to there register . I had to leave my things behind and walk out both days . read more

Located in a nice plaza. James was the cashier and was cracking jokes with all the customers in line. Was a very pleasant visit. Only reason not 5 stars it seemed like the AC was not working and it was warm, but James made up for it! read more

Vile! The filthiest most disorganized Dollar Tree you will see in the city. Gives you the creeps! Couldn't believe the trash on the floor all throughout the store, A pool of spilled chemicals left sitting on the floor with the bottle sitting near by and no lid on - which should've been cleaned up immediately. The shelves were poorly stocked and it looked like they hadn't straightened it out in weeks. Piles of inventory intermittently left on stained rusty shelving where there were big gaps of missing items -- just a mess. In fact I turned around and walked out of the store and looked at the front door to see if maybe they was a sign indicating that it was going out of business - but they weren't! This is just how they manage this store. And their personnel are rude as heck . They bark at you to put your mask on before you hardly even get in the door. Not hello or welcome or anything polite. As I walked through the aisles I couldn't believe the MESS - see pictures I included. This is Sandy Springs ... you would expect a little more, but guess Dollar Tree has no pride is professionalism or cleanliness .... maybe we should report them to OSHA for a little pop visit to see how they could be rated! Doesn't deserve one star. Awful store! So filthy! The floor and shelves were just dirty, dirty and unorganized! Things from other isles were spilled, and the shelves looked sticky. They also seem to have low or no stock on many items that other Dollar Tree stores carry. I live within walking distance to this store, but I just visited for the last time. I will drive 15 minutes away to a better location before I'll go back. I'm sad because this store is in a great area. It shouldn't be like this. People need to take pride in where they work. Ohh dollar tree, how I love thee.... I can pick up countless items,and add them to my cat with no regrets. On my most recent trip I picked up the following items... 1. Pens of course how could you not have enough pens! Curvy pens...sparkly pens...even pens filled with water and glitter! 2. a few packs of " Belly Flops" Irregular Jelly Belly jelly beans..lol.. yeah.. who even knew irregular jelly belly's existed! Quote from package: "On very rare occasions, a flavor may not match a color. A red Belly Flop might taste like Blueberry, or a white one might taste like Chocolate Pudding. Crazy!" YES! This makes for a night of fun times! 3. A whinnie the pooh ice pack...yes for some odd reason I think this might make me enjoy giving myself injections even more BEARable...HA... when a whinne the pooh ice pack applied before! 4. and a few other miscellaneous items! I've been shopping at this Dollar Tree four years. Not sure what happened in the last few months but the store is constantly not stocked and I'm always surprised that it's not because there are tons of boxes full of products lining the hallways and the back room is to the ceiling with boxes full of products and the shelves are always unstocked. We have stopped in the store at least once a week for the last few months and it has been like that so we've now decided to no longer go to the Dollar Tree. Not worth it there's a larger Dollar Tree that's kind of in the Brookhaven area that's awesome. Were going to start going to that one from now on but that's a shame Sandy Springs Dollar Store really needs to get it together because there's a lot of development in the area. 2 star because the cost is so good they deserved 1 star for that read more

This is by far one of the WORST locations in Atlanta. The energy of the staff is so rude, forced and drama seeking its sickening. I've given this place a few chances in the past but have always left with a bad energy lingering that I had to shake off. Will not recommend or be returning. read more

Going to the beach for a friends bday, wanted to get luau stuff. Saw Dollar Tree had a lot so I went. There was none! Then I noticed a ton of unpacked boxes in an aisle. Looking at the pictures on the boxes, I picked out what I needed open to get my beach decor. Then I found James. He made my day!! Not only was he willing to open everything I needed, he had me cracking up with laughter the whole time! He tried some things on for me, helped pick out some things, and had the exact sense of humor and attitude I needed that day. Glad you replaced the nasty gray carpet in stores with the tile. Looks good so far. However. This store was very low on stock. Waste of time driving there to get little or nothing. I'm a big fan and like many of the products. My favorites are storage. Cleaning. And candy items. read more

I had a difficult time shopping in this store because I was so distracted by the filthy floor. Yes, I mean FILTHY!!! Like take all of your waste, solid and liquid from the past 10 years and ground it into the floor and let it sit for 20 years and then do it again filthy. I literally had to check my shoes before I entered my van. I am so annoyed by this because this store is not in a run down area and it is located in a center where it is obvious that the other businesses take care of their property. What is the deal? If your store is so filthy that I can't enjoy shopping, I am obviously not going to recommend it to others. That would be irresponsible on my part. Now to other matters: To the lady in the snack aisle looking for Kosher treats for her kids, You have got to be kidding! Please allow me to direct you to the Whole Foods store just a few doors down. I guess I shouldn't expect much from the dollar tree but the employee who was checking customers out today was ridiculously rude. I waited several minutes at the only open checkout line for someone to come over. Then, when the cashier arrived, she told me I needed to take everything (four items) out of the shopping basket for her. She then quickly rang things up and took my money and immediately ran off again, with the bag of items I just purchased still behind the register in her bagging area.
