I had a disappointing experience at this Dollar Tree due to one of the new cashiers. A lady in front of me tripped and fell, and I immediately offered to help--both by reaching out to her and holding her cart so she could get up. She clearly declined my help, and I respected her wishes. Moments later, while I was checking out, I overheard one of the new male cashiers making a sarcastic remark to two other customers, saying I should've helped regardless. That was uncalled for, especially since he had no idea what actually happened. Instead of focusing on his job, he chose to pass judgment on a situation he didn't witness fully, and did so in a performative way just to impress customers. It was disrespectful and out of line. I come to this location to shop in peace, not to be misjudged or shamed by employees who don't know the full story. Please ensure your staff maintains professionalism and doesn't make assumptions about customers. read more

This location has gone WAY downhill. It is so picked over, they rarely have any one thing on a long list of what I need. Staff is grumpy and rude. When I ask for help, they look at me like it's absurd I dare ask, and routinely say, "if you can't find it, we don't have it," which is so unprofessional and lazy. This or Malvern are my closest stores, but they both are at the bottom of my list for DTs. I drive twice or 3x as far to pretty much ANY other DT locations these days. In a pinch, tried to hit this one the other day but they're temporarily closed for ongoing renovations. I called first and no answer (which unfortunately isn't unusual). But no message to notify of closure on their voicemail so I had zero clue they were just plain shut down. Also NOTHING on the website for this location's closure either. Good location, they have a nice selection and they seem to be somewhat organized. They also have a lot of named brand things

My friends and I visited the store to purchase gifts for our camp students and have never been treated so rudely. They chided us multiple times when walking through the store when we were merely browsing through the items. They treated us as if we were criminals and searched our bags unwarranted when we were just trying to do something kind for others. They told us we shouldn't be looking at toys because we're "grown" which is incredibly insulting. Finally the bathroom was certainly a violation considering there is no sink for anyone to wash their hands, including employees. Will never be returning to this establishment after such treatment. read more

WOW ..THIS IS A DOLLAR TREE ... (the bottom of the old LitBrothers Dept store) that goes way back.... This store is huge...and has much of a selection...of many, many items. From stationery. party paper goods. And decorations...this store also had aisles of kitchen gadgets. puppy and kitty food and supplies, bathroom needs and food and drinks, any and all cleaning products. Well known brands too. Its a step above the rest.. Fully stocked ... I must add...and well maintained. And every single item was $1.00... I can not tell how many other "DOLLAR stores.. Family, General or Value. have items are marked up to $2 , $3 maybe even $5. .. .not that a few extra dollars are much...but is it really worth the extra $$$... Plus it's states" DOLLAR" STORE... Staff here is kind and courtesy. Checking out was efficient and pleasant - he definitely didn't mind being there.... Just left this store 5 minutes ago and though they have decent selection, their cashiers are horrible. Our cashier, Ruby, was rushing us, gesturing us to hurry up when we were literally getting 3 nickels and 3 pennies out of our hand - literally it was one second and she was waving her hands like "hurry the **** up" and giving us an eye roll. She was SO RUDE. Never had I had a cashier ever do that. EVER! Possibly might not like minorities like myself and mother. Watch out for this cashier. I am SICK AND TIRED of going in there with 1 or 2 things inhand and have to wait in line with 20 some people with a CART FULL of stuff . there should be a express line. there are people who work in the shopping center who want to grab a snack or something and have to spend their whole lunch in line. Friday - June 7, 2013 - 11:00 AM A sampling of products include: household, party supplies, health and beauty, office and school, toys, artificial flowers, seasonal, food, and pet supplies. I've purchased cleaning products, bread, dish-washing bowl, shaving cream, shampoo, and elbow macaroni. Today, I purchased fig newtons and a milky way for 79 cents. Yes, they have items costing other than a dollar. The biggest slam against this store are long waits in line. The cashiers are pleasant and efficient but, barely handle the line. I like this dollar tree because the stock changes at a good pace and the seasonal selections are great. For standard kitchen items and tupperware, this one cannot be beaten. The staff is pleasant and will joke around and treat everyone like a friend, in my experience. My only complaint is that there is consistently only one register open. I'm told profit margins are high at dollar stores, so it would be great if they could up the number of staff on the register. The dollar tree on route 1 always has 2-3 registers open. read more

I Wouldn't go there ever again. A cashier named Ruby, she was so rude. I gave her some changes (32 cents) ,and she said "Are you serious?". I told her "yes. What do you mean by are you serious?" I gave you some changes, its not like I gave her all pennies nor gave her fake money. She gave me a dime roll( which was five dollars) as change. If you cannot count 32 cents then how are you working as a cashier? While I was waiting in line , a lady came into ask her about her receipt. Ruby scanned the cotton bags twice instead of once so the lady was asking why did you do that? Ruby answered so rude the lady just left mumbling some words. My overall findings were amazing! The customer service however is just as poor as the people you find working at a prison. Let's start with "MIA"... not only was she dumping the things out of my basket she was also rude and throwing things into a plastic bag. After asking if their was glass as she's already pouring my things onto the belt. I was overall not satisfied with the customer service. Rude and short the whole time. Pretty pathetic since all you have to do is smile and say you're welcome and have a good day. Other than dealing with crummy service they have a lot to offer at this dollar store! I most likely won't be attending her line next time! Good luck with her attitude bc I'm sure plenty of folks won't be back because of it. She was rude to the woman in front of me as well, which she had spoke with me in parking lot after. I stopped by Dollar Tree with my mother to buy a few things for my dad's birthday party. Dollar Tree is always one of my favorite places to go for cheap party supplies that are of good quality. We found the perfect things, exactly what we were looking for! We went to check out and the lines were super long, you would have thought it was Black Friday. It was frustrating, as we had other errands to run, but my mom and I both work in retail so we understood and patiently waited. I saw Employee A get a soda out of a fridge at the register and I thought, too bad she is on break, they could really use some help up here! Finally Employee B came up and opened another queue, which Employee A bolted for. My mom and I got in line behind her and put our merchandise on the conveyor belt. Employee A couldn't remember her employee ID for her discount, so the manager had to come over and play with the computer. Then Employee C comes up with a drink and butts in front of my mom and me. Shocked, I leaned to my mom and said, "I think that girl just butt in front of us," to which Employee B rudely replied from behind the counter, "She has an employee purchase, we have to take her first." The manager was standing right there and didn't react at all to her comment. I was appalled at the way she spoke to me and at that "policy". Again, I've worked in retail for years, and employees always go last and are treated as regular customers. But my mom and I stood there waiting, knowing if we made a scene it would only hold up the rest of the line and make things more miserable for everyone. Employee C couldn't remember her number either. Ensue another few minutes of waiting. They were also chatting it up and joking around, which I'm sure lengthened our wait time. So finally they are both rung up and Employee A goes to the next queue to start ringing people up! What?! So she wasn't on break. And the manager was standing RIGHT THERE. I guess Dollar Tree condones this type of behavior? Well one thing's for sure, we will never set foot into our neighborhood Dollar Tree again. 0/10 would not recommend. read more
