As you can see from my pics the place is quite large and the prices are very reasonable. I was here on a Friday just before noon so it was not so crowded. The check-out process went well. All prices were properly marked for check out. I purchased around $150 of party supplies, including some nice looking plastic champagne glasses. Party time!

It is super fun shopping here because there are so many aisles and it's SO CHEAP (my favorite bit). Right from wine glasses to baby stuff to lotions and shampoos to party stuff to stationary to shoes socks and even kitchen stuff- they literally have everything here. The people who work here are pretty helpful and polite. The store hours change constantly, it's quite tiring to catch up with it. They are usually closed on Saturday, pretty sure about that bit. Fun fact - they don't have "happy birthday" banners. How weird is that. They have everything else, "congratulations", "it's a boy/girl", "merry Christmas", "happy new year" everything! There are several reasons why I would recommend another store like Zapp Comics or anywhere really. Several times I've been in the store and one or the owners berates and talks down to her employees in front of customers. It's really unpleasant to watch and is the main reason I don't shop there more often. The employees work very hard and the store is lucky to have them. They deserve more than being spoken to in a demeaning way. My advice to the managers try saying thank you more. The store has a lot of strange rules. The clerks have to put the comics in bags for you. The cashier and the clerk physically put hands in the books during checkout. Zapp comics lets you grab your bags and boards, treat your comics well, and pay for them at the end. It's a great system. There is an incentive reward program. Ok that's great. You get joker bucks when a certain amount is spent. When you check out and use them, you get an earful on how you should trade in smaller denominations of joker bucks to make it easier for the store. Not fun. The store is also dimly lit and has a depressing overall atmosphere.

I'll go into Center City for Marshalls, GNC, and PriceRIte more often. I've only been to Hamilton & Ward, but there are other eateries like Downtown Grill and IHOP. Inside, I've also seen there's a nail place, as well as a movie theater and arcade. Center City Mall is easy to get to via public transportation with bus stops, and there is underground parking available. Star rating based on convenience and ease of location - especially smack in the middle of an urban area.
