They have a wide selection of books in various genres and age ranges. All of the books that I looked at were in very good condition. They have some newer and more popular titles as well. The store is run by volunteers, and they were incredibly nice and helpful. Be sure to check it out when exploring the village landing!

Still, as an avid movie buff, I love checking out the assortment of DVDs that wind up there... over the years I've picked up some limited edition box sets and some rare & obscure films (Eating Raoul, Melvin & Howard, Demon Seed & other cult classics). Big Lots is also one of the few places around where you can buy reasonably priced USB and HDMI cables. Why buy an overpriced Belkin or "Rocketfish" cable for $39.00 from Worst Buy when you can get a comparable cable here for $12.99 (or less)? Caveat Emptor! There's also a pretty decent selection of RTA furniture here. So I guess you could say I'm a regular here. This store, located in East Rochester's Suburban Plaza, looks to be fairly well run. The staff here has been pretty constant, which is a good sign in today's economy.
