Fully stocked. It's rare you go to a Dollar tree that's fully stocked, so that was definitely great. I came in to get some canvases, flowers, a candle, tablecloth, and a transparent photo stand to hold signage and they had everything I needed. I also seen things that I didn't need since they were fully stocked, which is rare. The cashier Ahmani was great. She greeted me when I walked in and when multiple people walked in, and then when she was checking me out, she was very friendly and very personable. That's very rare for a dollar tree very rare. Everything is $1.25 now. Has foil balloons to fill for $1.50 and packs of latex balloons for $1.25. Daiso across the street also has balloons for purchase but I don't think they blow them up there. Nice workers. Small but had everything I needed and more. Hidden gem. I recommend if you are in the area.

Large Dollar Tree, with its own dedicated parking lot, and a large selection of products, with the vast majority being $1.25 each. It's well laid out inside, plenty of checkout in case it gets busy, and everything was well stocked (with a lot of employees stocking during the day while people shopped). Like all 'dollar' stores, some of the products (especially the impulse buys) can be a bad deal...just have to watch out for that. But it is our go-to place to stock up on essentials like cotton pads, guest toothbrushes, and even dry food items like spices. Noticed a couple of things I hadn't seen at a Dollar Tree before: Amazon locker for self pick up and Gift Card Center (which requires some technological advancement to work). ***Update** I will be calling corporate office and making an official complaint on Cindy. The manager is now clearly replying back to reviews and misgendering me calling me a man when I came in with a purse and I'm clearly a woman. Cindy queen of dollar tree. The point of my complaint whether I was right or wrong but how you believe that you're job is more than scanning items and handing me my change. If anyone had a problem with it they would have spoken up. And no one thanked you. She was an elderly woman moving slower than molasses and didn't give at all that I had gotten up there first. Here's an update more than two years later. This Dollar Tree still does not have a trash can and the parking lot is completely covered with trash that is never cleaned up. The manager just shrugs and blames in on the homeless. This place is absolutely disgusting...and the garbage even includes used toilet paper. Anyone living in this neighborhood should complain loudly. Not only does this stuff blow all over the neighborhood, but it eventually blows into the storm drains, which empty directly into the ocean. read more

Definitely not the worst Dollar Tree. They have good stuff. But it is on the smaller side, and for some reason it feels kinda dark inside. Main reason for the low rating is that the line is almost always long and they don't call the other workers to help check people out. read more

It has 10 spacious aisles and more selection than the other stores I usually shop for specific items however you always leave with more than expected. They always carry cute, cool stuff, craft materials and pretty faux florals great for door wreaths Great place for party and holiday decorations, Bingo prizes, crafting and school supplies, if you're RV traveling or just traveling this is your place to find travel size products. You will also find basic office essentials at a better price Some items you can find the same items and brands for 97 cents like Kleenex pocket tissue packs, Bar soap among other small items at Walmart but the Dollar Tree store has lots of favorites items at a lesser price than Costco and Sam's and you don't need to buy so much specially if you don't have the space to stock up or you live in a limited budget read more

I am a fan of 99cent stores cause I hate paying more for basic needs! 5++ all the way! My friend lives down the street from here and the location is strange. This used to be some furniture store. The entrance is on Stearns street, small parking lot. There's steps to go down inside the store. I came here to buy those solid air-fresheners that you strategically place in odd areas of your home so you can smell the scent but don't know where it's coming from. I blame my boss who loves these and goes for the 'Hawaiian Aloha' scent. She always has these laying around her office. Damn you made me homesick for home. So now I'm obsessed with these cause the air freshener sprays are hit or miss. I also recently placed an Amazon prime order for toilet paper and paper towels and Auwe! got someone else's order instead. So now I gotta go back the old fashioned way and go into a store to make it right. Anyways, it's pretty good in here, clean, not too many people shopping on a Sunday afternoon. Overall the store was organized however there was only one cart which made it inconvenient to hold all my items in one of the hand held baskets. I always wish this place was cleaner/tidier, but they usually do pull through with the items that I'm looking for. Service isn't that great, but I understand. My biggest complaint is that they seem to have really antiquated cash registers that break down too often. read more

I don't often give bad reviews... This place is convenient...but the customer Service wasn't great at all! FYI...they don't take any returns or give store credit, only exchanges. I had rushed over here right before my son's fourth birthday party at the park a couple blocks away. My younger sister canceled last minute and I needed balloons and birthday decorations. They had everything I needed and It was cool that they had "happy birthday" balloons ready to go but when I bought the Incredibles 2 sticker book, nowhere on any sign did it say or show that the stickers were not included. None of the kids wanted the book and one adult asked where the stickers were! Of course I was in a rush so I didn't flip through the book to find out that the stickers weren't even in the book. I'll admit that it was my fault. However, it would have been nice if it said somewhere that refunds are not allowed or the stickers were not included. I apologized to everybody waiting in line at the only aisle that was opened, while A couple of the other staff girls were chitchatting in their back room and didn't allow me to even exchange with any of the other customers in line...what difference would it have been? She was going to buy 7 items! I had 10 items to exchange and I would've bought some nail clippers or nail polish! By the way, in my defense, I did walk through every aisle to see if I needed anything and it turns out that I did not need or want anything. I guess I will have to wait for another birthday party to buy some balloons or party favors. I will not be coming back to this dollar tree, simply for the way that I was treated. I enjoy shopping at the dollar tree, but sometimes I like going to the one closer to where I live, but there is always this one nasty, bad attitude sales associate name Helena working the register. She never smiles, and was very brass when I was there and asked her a question. I don't like getting in her line, but she seems to be the only person working the registers on my visits. How could prices go up 25%? We did not have a 25% salary increase in Long Beach so how can that increase be justified? Even if my salary went up 25% how could it be justified to raise the Dollar Tree prices that much if that is not a most common expense that justifies the whole 25% mark-up. Stopped here because this Family Dollar are the only places I can find some sugar-free candies for my dad who would happens to be diabetic. First time to this location store is very nice and clean and big however upon first entering you need to watch your step as you have to take three steps down. Selection was great however the only downfall is there was one cashier she had to call back up otherwise they were very friendly. read more

This was a great place to shop for low budget groceries when I worked in the area. They have snacks, freezer foods, and occasionally marked down food. The only gripe I had was I had to leave my backpack at the front, or I would be reprimanded by an employee. read more

This dollar tree is so cramped I cannot walk without having to move because an employee is trying to get by with a cart to restock and the shopping carts have the big pole thing on there so that you won't take it out the store but it just makes it worse Because it's bent back where u come in contact with another cart you just bump into each other. Wanted to come here since it's kind of new and figured I would like it but I guess not. Long Beach store at Norwalk and Wardlow is dirty, poorly stocked, and never has their helium tank fixed for ballons.

A very rude and unhappy cashier/employee. I was there on July14th, 2018 at around 2:30 pm. I was shopping for general stuff and noticed this employee. She was pushing carts very violently around the store and she almost hit some customers! I though to myself someone isn't having a good day" Then to my surprise she was the cashier as well. I had two glasses for drinks and she rudely said " I HAVE NOTHING TO WRAP THESE WITH!" . First of all, there are better ways to say that exact same thing but with a better tone. Maybe say "I apologize, I ran out of wrapping paper" She could have just been having a bad day but it's not the customer's fault. If I could give no stars, I would. First off, we walk in and we see 4 female associates in the corner just chatting away. Not greet anyone at all. And when we were ready to check out there was a man in front of us, we waited while those same female associates were still talking. Finally one decides to ring us up. When it was finally our turn she rings us up and and with the nastiest tone she just says "one ten" so at that point I was already annoyed with this lady's attitude. So we give her exact change and before we could even say thank you she says "you can grab your receipt" which is still attracted to the machine and she turns around to walk back to the associates to continue their I guess very important discussion. All and all, poor service and nasty attitude. So if you decide to go to this location and unfortunately get rung up by an associate named genesis, don't expect too much. read more
