Google says this is the largest Dollar Tree in Illinois and that sounds about right. They have 6 cashier stations if that's a confirming indication. The store was clean, airy, and well organized. The store was also quiet during our midweek mid-morning visit. They also have a big and convenient parking lot as they are right next to an Oak Farms Market store. Thumbs up!

I went there twice this week & the Halloween section is A-mazing! Compared to other stores there is a lot of room to shop & the isles are not narrow. They have working price checkers as well. Very friendly staff. In the past it was kind of hit or miss with that. My only negative comment would be they need to have more push baskets. They go fast. I always get 1 from the parking lot if I see it. This way I have it ready to shop. Recently I went to a Dollar Tree a couple of weeks ago & they were all out of the push baskets. So I left. Who wants to put a bunch a stuff in a tiny basket you have to carry. I have some health issues & need the push shopping carts. This $ Tree is great in every way.

The girl who checked me out doesn't have a good customer service. I asked if they have trash and she said yes, so I handed over the cotton ball. And she pointed me to the end of the counter. I said, ok, so I walked there with my cart as I put my 2 year old niece on the cart. I thought she was done charging but I didn't realize that there are 2 more konjac jelly on the side of the cart and I didn't see it because my 2 year old niece was sitting on the cart. It was an honest mistake. Anyways I handed it over to her and saw her roll her eyes. I just keep my cool. I asked for an extra small bag so that I can put my niece snacks that we purchased. The girl said it's 10 cents. Girl, I just got more than $100 worth of stuff and you can't give me an extra bag? I've been in the store more than 10 times and didn't know that they charge the bags. Anyways I end up giving her $50 as that's the only cash I have. Most of the emplyees are nice but the girl in the counter yesterday sucks. I'm giving it 2 star due to the other employee who is more considerate and even open the door as me and my niece walked out the store. 1 star for having variety of stuff, but I can go to Park to Shop, Mitsuwa, or H-mart for a lesser price.

This store is my default Walgreens and closest to my home.   I've used it regularly over the years…read moremainly for photo prints and always when there's a photo promo. It's an ok store and the employees have all been fine.  Every now and then they forget to crop the edge of the photo paper so I always check my orders before leaving.  All Walgreens have a great Senior's Day promo (for age 55+) which is 20% off on everything (except food and liquor) on the first Tuesday of every month.   That's a good once-per-month deal.   I've found the lines can come and go in waves here.  An Indian lady named Roshni is often the cashier up front when I visit and she is quite courteous and efficient.  We don't usually buy anything here unless it's an emergency or it's on sale as their prices are generally highish.  I haven't used the pharmacy much as we use mail order but when we have it's been a routine experience.   I haven't used their pharmacy drive through.   Their parking lot is convenient and is located by a light so it's a quick and safe exit back out to Miner St.  Walgreens is going private so we'll see what if anything that means for us consumers in the upcoming months.

They have hot foods stands where you can fill a plate up with whatever you want and they weigh it and you pay the weight of the plate, the selection is massive they have everything from American food, Polish food, Italian food and more. They also have a really nice bakery with very reasonable prices - I tried the red velvet cake there - delicious! We hadn't shopped for a mattress in maybe 15 years and were out of date on the industry. Pro tip: be ready for sticker shock! But American Mattress had the advantage of being the third and last shop we visited, and we sort of knew what we wanted and what we wanted to pay at that point. Bill was the right guy at the right time for us, and he liked that we knew a bit also! American Mattress also had another advantage - they had a nice closeout special on a quality twin mattress and that pretty much nailed it for us. The people who delivered the items left multiple scratches on our 2 week old hardwood floor. We called the store and talked to BIll who then said that he was going to contact the office. I received a call the next day from someone asking if I could send pictures to delivery@americanmattress.com. I was told that I was going to receive a call regarding an update the following week. A week later and nothing. I called the store and I was told that I would be getting an update soon. A week later, and still nothing. I will be calling them again next week to see what's going on. It seems to me that they were so nice when you're purchasing from them. Customer service is severely lacking afterwards. I wonder what kind of service I'll get if something happens during the warranty period. I'm guessing I'll get the same runaround. I called the store the SAME DAY the mattress and base were delivered. Imagine calling for an issue within the 30 days or longer. Good luck with that.
