This dollar tree sits amongst quite a number of other retailers in this strip center. This particular location seems smaller than other dollar trees that I've been to. I have to admit this is a perfect place to find greeting cards that are two for a dollar along with gift bags almost equally as cheap. You'll also find automotive, home decor, office items, snack items, glassware, canned goods along with arts and crafts. One of the best deals they have here, are helium filled balloons for $1.50 each. However, on my visit, they were out of helium. The customer service is pretty good- quite a few teenagers but they all do a pretty great job. The store is pretty messy though kind of on the gross side. I don't expect much with it being a Dollar General but I think the rotten, moldy food, cups and trash everywhere is a bit much. read more

The store itself was average for a Dollar Tree, but the service left much to be desired. The cashier was on her phone while checking me out, and I had to specifically ask for my glassware to be wrapped instead of being placed with other items. She asked if I wanted a receipt at the start of the transaction, but after finishing, she just left it on the counter under my bags without handing it to me. I went to do a return of 4 cushions I bought 2 days ago and after 3 people I got the manager so she said she was the one who sold them to me. They would not return them without a receipt or give me store credit. I walk with a cane and it's hard for me to get around so I just wanted store credit the thick Hispanic manager lady was rude and gave me corporates phone number that ended up being completely useless just like the store people. Louis Carria is supposed to be the district manager that never called me back. While I was waiting for Mr Louis to call back the poor cashier Roxie had a long line and she was calling for help. The phone rang and she left her long line to answer the phone 2 registeres away and I told her she should not leave a line of people to answer the phone she said it's part of my job. I'm like wow there are 3 other people here and you're doing everything. What a joke and the manager is a joke. I left the 4 cushions that was $20 dollars there I guess they need the money more then helping me. Will never be back. What a shame. Hope they learn some better customer service and it's ok to help people. read more

Oh, what a mess! Every aisle was in disarray. Items were all over the floor or hanging off of the shelves. They have a good selection of products and staff was friendly, but it was hard to get past the overwhelming clutter. read more

Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because sometimes there's only one employee working the cash register up front while there's others while around the store when there's a huge line. They are mostly always stock, everything looks nice in tidy as can be especially before holidays and employees are always nice. read more

I went in here looking for items for a gift basket. I found a few things. They have lots to choose from as dollar stores go.. I would shop here again when looking for small items that don't require them to be too lasting. They have some great finds but mostly things are on the cheaper side or smaller content. read more

These employees were beyond rude to us. We asked 3 different people where an item was and they all seemed completely inconvenienced and just pointed to where it "might" be. Excuse me for asking you to do your job. This store needs nicer employees who are actually willing and WANTING to help guests. I was pleasantly surprised to find Zep cleaning products along the back wall. I'm not familiar with them whatsoever. But I grab two of them, along with several other items. Once I checked out and was handed my receipt, is only when I learned the Zep products we're $3.00 each! So I immediately tried to return them (without ever leaving checkout). The cashier said they don't do returns. I spoke the Manager and explained the products were NOT on their $3-$5 isle and that there were many bottles with all their other $1.25 cleaning products. She also said they could not do returns. But I could do a $6 exchange for different merchandise. She would not even refund me the difference in cash nor store gift card! So, as a customer, I was penalized for THEIR mistake! What TERRIBLE customer service!!! read more

Dirty, needs a major cleaning. Every aisle is filthy. Associates are non-caring, they just don't bother trying to clean.

This place totally has changed my opinion on dollar stores, in general (but not Dollar General). Previous experiences with dollar stores were always dreadful, kind of like going to a Walmart. I would try to get in, rush and get what I needed, avoid the dirty aisles if possible, and exit ASAP. Don't make eye contact. Don't touch anything suspicious. But when I walked into Dollar Tree, I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee (???) and noticed that the store was bright and clean. I let my guard down and allowed myself to browse - things seemed to be well stocked and organized, and again, the store seemed clean. Was I in an alternate universe?? I really only came for something specific (push pins), so I didn't allow myself to actually buy anything else. But I did notice that they did have some brand name items, including cleaning supplies, so I may actually just come back here to get those. Thanks Dollar Tree, for changing my opinion of you - and for making me feel welcome and in a safe, clean environment. read more

I was so excited to go to the dollar store since we do not have one. I used to shop here all the time on the mainland for my classroom supplies. I was able to stock up and fill my suitcase with supplies that are too expensive on the island. The store was clean, organized, and well stocked. Great job dollar store. LOL My husband LOVES this place because he travels quite a bit for work and loves to furnish his temporary housing with the cheapest digs, and Dollar Tree ALWAYS has what he needs!! read more

I didn't even want to give 1 star! It's not the place that is awful but the person who manages it. Every time I go in here there's 1 cashier when asked for assistants a female manager comes out of the office she's NEVER in a good mood & RUDE ! I just moved to the area and this Dollar Tree is NOT what I'm used to. It's tiny bitty so naturally they don't have as much stuff. The people working there were nice enough, but ii really noticed the lack of products from what I'm used to. My son, who is autistic, was asked to leave this store by one of the employees. He said a customer complained he put something in his pocket. My son has anger issues and this escalated his anxiety through yhe roof. My son even pulled his pockets out to show that he only had his glasses cloth in his pocket. His nervous habit is to constantly wipe the glasses with the cloth. The employee still asked my son and the rest of us to leave. Do not go to this store if you expect any understanding from the employees. The manager was just as undertrained and incapable of knowing what to do. Normally my past experiences here have been, whatever this recent visit has been ANNOYING. I would of rather gone to HEB down the street, pay a little more for the better customer service (maybe more intelligent people as well) so here's my rant. I walk in the other day to buy a few graduation balloons. I grabbed a few pre-blown balloons and make my way to the register. Little background information about the cashier: 1. Last time I was in his line he closed it up and walked out. Didn't even let me or anyone else in line know he was closing up. 2. Once asked if he could blow up a few balloons he stared at the wall. Asked again and responded "oh sure I guess" Back to my story I mean rant. So I pay for the balloon and ask where the weights are? Normally they have complimentary weights on the check stands. He said "It's over there." Pointing at the balloon station desk. I walk over to the desk confused looking around the desk for a weight. The cashier again staring at the wall. No interest in helping a customer. I ask the lady close by for help. She asked what I'm looking for and why I'm touching the desk. I explained I'm looking for the weights. Get this, she continued by saying that the free weights are not weights, they are decorative pieces to tie at the end of the balloon string. (LOL) what?! So I said okkkkay I still need a weight so she showed me a confetti weight. "You can have one of these" I said ok sure grabbed one and tied it to the balloon. As I was walking out she called me a thief, I need to pay for that. I look at her confused like I thought these came with the balloon? She responded "nothing's free mam" I got tired of the bs to get a weight for a balloon and the fact she called me a thief so I tossed the weight on the messy desk. I walk out once again "Mam did you pay for the balloon?!" Walking out I respond "no" and laugh. (Obviously I did) so I walked out with no balloon weight. I went down to HEB. I got a few more balloons and a free weight! I wasn't even called a thief! read more
