Once upon a time, one of my favorite hidden gems of Chula Vista has become a regular priced store. The selection for the most part still varies... but they always have shoes, clothing, household items, bedding amd furniture along with holiday or seasonal items. The back section inside is now blocked, it use to house more furniture. The warehouse is located next door... unfortunately im not sure if they are just relaxing in times... but I've been here right at opening and nothing is set up, until you are walking in and they are bringing stuff out. So a little inconvenient when your coming to look, shop and leave... the setup remains the same as they have clothing bins for you to rummage through. There is always a $1 basket or bin of clothes available. Discounted shoes and household items. I've never had bad customer service here, but as usual the prices pretty much match normal store prices now. Not sure if they are not getting much of a deal on their end or just raising the prices regardless. Even with the discounts, some items its not worth it and definitely check expiration dates on food items. If you have time to rummage through or price check, this place could be for you. Most of my visits I've left empty handed and gone to GTM, but other times I've found some bargains still. Coming into 2026, I hope they remain in business. I still enjoy the thrill of finding a steal deal or maybe mislabeled price tag.

I made my way to appliances and large electrics. Nope not there! I head down the aisle with fans because it made sense for the cooling inventory to be together. Strike two! I like to make sure I give it a solid try before I ask for assistance. After I made a whole loop, I saw David walking towards me. Instead of directing me to them he walked me over to them gave me time to decide which one and with the help of Gary loaded it into my cart. Added bonus, the particular unit I wanted is now on sale. Mike helped me transfer all my groceries to the cart with the AC unit. Gary pre-scanned my items which made checking out a breeze. Exiting was not so smooth, we are now gridlocked. As we all patiently wait our turn an associate recognizes her friend in line and comes to verify her receipt. Don't think that is considered best practice. I slowly made my way through the exit line. I let the associate know I need a Carry-Out to which she hollers, "CARRY-OUT!" I wasn't given any instructions after waiting out of the way for 5 minutes I head back and ask her what the process is, where do I wait, who am I looking for? She proceeds to tell me assistance is coming and hollers again. She leaves her post and informs her replacement that I requested a carry-out, so he hollers too. With a few minutes Mike approaches me. He asked if I need assistance and proceeds to accompany me to my Jeep. I let him know that I need a few minutes to drop my back seats because I didn't realize the AC unit was going to be so large. We engage in small chat, I let him know I'll purchasing the AC unit for a small dog rescue. We arrive to my Jeep, he held on top the cart while I shift things around. He muscled the AC unit on his own into the back of the Jeep like the Hulk AND he even helped me upload the rest of my groceries. I know it's his job to assist but I truly appreciated how kind he was throughout the process. Kudos to David and Mike for doing their job happily well!

Recently I was looking to replace my old Air Purifier and I usually buy them at our Naval base and if I'm not satisfied on the selection at the Naval base store then my second option is going to Costco. I really need a new Air Purifier 'coz every summer my Relatives comes and visit us, some smoke cigarettes/ tobacco and some come with their pets. When our relatives visit us my Son and I get so ALLERGIC to the smell of their Cigarettes or Pet Dander, our eyes will start to get watery and itchy and our nose will start acting up like itchy and sneezing . They dont smoke inside my house, but the smell sticks to their clothes and my Son and I can smell them, and their pets are clean but we are not used to their pet Danders, so I always have AIR PURIFIERS in the house running when i have visitors 'coz also in Summer time mostly my Windows are always closed 'coz I have Air Conditioning running 24/7 . I've been eyeballing this SHARK NEVER CHANGE AIR-PURIFIER for a while now and when I saw that it was on sale at Costco , I grabbed 3 of them right away, 1 for our FAMILY ROOM, 1 for our LIVING ROOM, and 1 for our KITCHEN, and they work amazingly ! It detects any changes in the air very quickly and it clean the Air right away, and no more Allergies from the Cigarette/ tobacco or Pets dander and the best part is that the Filter only needs to be changed after 5 years. Now I'm ready for the Summer Visits from my Relatives with their Cigarrete or Pets. Thanks to Costco for having this item in their store. This Costco has many stores around it like IKEA, LOWES, STARBUCKS, RESTAURANTS, etc, so expect that Parking will not be that easy to find, I have to go around several times to find one. They don't charge you taxes if you use cash, but if you have a card they charge you taxes. They also have an atm if you don't want to get charged taxes. There are cheap snacks, and can't use your card if you only have things under 15 dollars. They have almost everything you are looking for, for your home.
