I picked up a couple of Cherry scented spray. And the cashier ring them up ask for $4. I tell her that's okay because I did not see the price where I picked them up at it was only three bottles. You tell me the price was there because she put them there. With a very smart gesture. I was the only black in the store. At that time. I did talk to the manager about the worker conduct towards the customer. Kept getting smart with me and took my items back.

This isn't the largest location around, but it is one of the cleaner stores in the area; which honestly may not be saying much about this company as a whole. Just like any other location, you will see quite a bit of products on the ground and in the wrong place, but at least the employees take the time to try to multitask and stock the shelves while also assisting customers. Lines can get long here, but what can you expect with only one cashier working.

Ive literally never walked into a more atrocious business in my entire life. Dollar store or not. It smelled like stale beer, there was boxes of items not shelved that customers are apparently just expected to dig through? This place is a disaster. Just dont come here. {edit} Apparently the employee who works here says I come in all the time, I literally dont even live within 300 miles of this place. After asking someone who lives in the area they also say this place ALWAYS is this bad... Not just during the Halloween set up season. Also very interesting that the only good reviews are left by employees of the store on their personal accounts- that says a lot.

This is my store. The pictures of boxes and empty shelves are because we were setting the holiday set. As I explained when you complained about it . I apologized however , in order to switch from back to school. To Halloween , I have to remove the items and it takes a couple days to open 2700 boxes ! As far as the register not working , that is NOT what Happened. The Internet was down. No registers nor computers would work. I apologized for the issue and said as Soon as there up wed get you out. And we did. Again ALL THE REGISTERS were down thanks to AT&T ... It was completely out of our hands. !!! Sorry again. But we told you multiple times during the problem

Shelf are empty but they dont stock .

My girlfriend talks about this store the way my friends talk about their gym grind. Constantly. So…read moreI finally went, mostly to kill time while she shopped. Annoyingly, she was right. It's a discount spot but everything's sorted into actual sections -- clothing, appliances, household stuff, food -- so it's not the dig-through-a-bin situation I expected. Then I turned a corner and found the exact silver watch I'd been eyeing online for weeks and had talked myself out of buying like a responsible adult. Here, the price made being responsible irrelevant. So now I own it. Walked out with that, some work clothes, and a couple of household things we apparently needed. Prices were low enough I stopped doing the math and just grabbed stuff. Staff was helpful even though it was busy. Came to kill time. Left with the watch I told myself I didn't need. Worth a look if you like brand-name things without the brand-name price.

IMHO Interesting…read moreplace. Finally got a chance to check it out after reading about it. I'd read that it is really cramped and unorganized. I found that there was enough room to move about and aisles were clear. Yes, product is stacked high but not dangerous to navigate. There was one gentleman working, and we said hello. He said if we had any questions, to just ask. We had no idea what to expect or what we were looking for. You really have to take the time to slowly walk around and look high and low. I suppose you can find great bargains if you know your prices and are willing to spend some time there. They had tons of bedding, kitchen appliances, light bulbs and fixtures, huge rugs, weighted blankets, shoes, Water Piks, name brand luggage, and a ton of clothing on racks and some piled to be picked through, plus a bunch of other stuff. I even found some packages of pepperoni, but they were just thrown on a shelf. I guess they're shelf stable... All of these items are close-outs or returned to Costco, or just out-of-season (like the Christmas trees and wrapping paper I found.) If you like going on a treasure hunt, this is your place! I'm sure I'll go back, one day...

They had a very nice variety of gift bags to choose from for $1.50. I chose two different ones and was very happy with my selection. There was only one employee at the checkout area. My store at home is $1.25 and then there is a section called "better stuff" that's higher. Ok fine. Inflation. I was quite surprised to visit this store to find that the $1.25 price point that I'm used to was far from the norm. Most everything I bought today, minus the box of candy and a box of crayons was at least $1.75. I was originally headed to Michael's to buy some silk stems for a project with my 3 year old granddaughter. $1.25 sure seemed like it would be a better option then Michael's. Of course hindsight is 20/20, when I saw that the silk stems were $1.75 each (and Dollar Tree quality vs Michael's quality), I probably should have just run next door to compare prices. I know the pricing is up to corporate, not this particular store but, still, the pricing did impact what I bought. Most every Dollar Tree has the same layout. This store didn't follow this standard layout. Categories of the same type items could be together or in two or more areas of the store. Some of the organization didn't even make sense. The shelves were full of merchandise, the cleanliness of the store was no better or worse than the typical Dollar Tree. Lines were long but there were two registers open and the employee that I interacted with was super sweet. This is the closest Dollar Tree to my daughter's house so I know I'll be back. But next time, I'll know what to expect.

It was a fluffy little monster she made into a charm with a kilt pin, and I wanted to see if I could find one, so I stopped in there this morning. Five Below is like a dollar store, but most items are five dollars and below. They have lots of toys, craft supplies, beauty products, kids clothes, and candy. Their demographic is teens and tweens. It was crowded with families and kids when I arrived. The store had lots of Easter items near the entrance, as well as toys. I walked quickly around the store, checking out what they had to offer. I didn't see the fluffy monsters. The candy section was huge and they had a good selection. I picked up a few of the Ghirardelli dark chocolate bars I like to keep in the freezer and some Pocky Sticks. I meant to buy a bag of strawberry KitKats but got distracted and forgot. On the very last aisle I found some of the monsters I was looking for, but they didn't have the specific one I wanted. That's okay, I'll buy it on eBay. I'm not sure I'll be back to Five Below since it doesn't offer much for me.

I have probably made 100+ trips to Savers in the last couple of months. Moving out of a house that…read morewas loved and lived in for more than 46 years, required a lot of donations. The process of being able to pull up to the curb and load a rolling green cart and have the staff help and give a coupon too has been so easy. My mother-in-law asked me where she could easily donate items this morning and I recommended Savers to her as well!

I used to enjoy shopping at Savers because thrift stores were supposed to be places where families,…read morestudents, seniors, and budget-conscious shoppers could find affordable items. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. The biggest issue with Savers today is the pricing. Many of the items on the shelves are donated goods, yet the prices often feel closer to retail than thrift store pricing. In some cases, I can find the same item new at a department store during a sale or clearance event for the same price, or even less. One of the most frustrating things I see regularly is when an item still has its original retail price tag attached, and Savers has priced it higher than the original selling price. How does that make any sense? If a brand-new item originally sold for less, why should customers pay more for it at a thrift store? The pricing on shoes and clothing is especially hard to understand. Seeing used shoes priced at $49.99 or more is becoming increasingly common. At that point, why wouldn't a customer simply buy a new pair? The same applies to clothing. Many items are marked so high that I can go to Nordstrom Rack and find brand-new merchandise for the same price or sometimes even less. Part of the fun of thrift shopping is finding a bargain. That feeling has largely disappeared at Savers. More and more often, shoppers are looking at price tags and wondering who approved them. Used merchandise should be priced like used merchandise, not like premium retail inventory. I understand that Savers promotes its community partnerships and charitable efforts, and I appreciate businesses that give back. However, it does make me wonder how much of these high prices actually support those causes versus how much simply contributes to revenue and executive compensation. From what I understand, the amount going back to those services is far less than many customers assume. The reality is that I hear people complaining about Savers' prices almost every time I shop there. Customers constantly talk about how expensive it has become. These are donated items, yet prices continue to climb. At some point, it starts to feel less like serving the community and more like maximizing profit. What is most disappointing is that it feels like Savers has forgotten why many people shop there in the first place. Customers come looking for affordability, value, and an opportunity to stretch their budgets. Instead, many are met with price tags that make them question why they are shopping at a thrift store at all. I still enjoy thrifting, but these days I find myself shopping at other thrift stores far more often because the value is simply better elsewhere. Savers may still have a large selection, but selection alone isn't enough when the prices no longer make sense. Until pricing becomes more realistic and customer-focused, I'll continue taking my business elsewhere. A thrift store should be about helping people find affordable items, not charging near-retail prices for goods that were donated for free.
