Absolutely ridiculous. They double charged me for an item and I only noticed once I checked my receipt in the car. And I politely came inside to ask for a refund. Mind you I spent $50 this transaction, why would I lie about this? One worker, Autumn acted like an FBI agent and it was just such a waste of time. This could've been an easy two minute refund but they made me go all the way back to my car to show all of my items. This isn't the largest location around, but it is one of the cleaner stores in the area; which honestly may not be saying much about this company as a whole. Just like any other location, you will see quite a bit of products on the ground and in the wrong place, but at least the employees take the time to try to multitask and stock the shelves while also assisting customers. This is my store. The pictures of boxes and empty shelves are because we were setting the holiday set. As I explained when you complained about it . I apologized however , in order to switch from back to school. To Halloween , I have to remove the items and it takes a couple days to open 2700 boxes ! As far as the register not working , that is NOT what Happened. The Internet was down. No registers nor computers would work. I apologized for the issue and said as Soon as there up wed get you out. I love this store! The manager is always so kind and helpful to me. I have a lot of kids and sometimes it can be hectic but she is always providing great customer service and truly cares about her customers needs! I always buy a big box of toilet paper and as soon as she sees me she is ready to get it in the back, cause I like my boxes unopened. This dollar Tree actually has some good stuff. I always stop by to get balloons, cheap festive decor, cards, party favors and so much more. And for $1 you can't go wrong. However, my only concern is the location which is definitely not safe so when you park your car in the parking lot please make sure to not leave any belongings visible from the windows. Absolutely love this location since its renovation. Items are always stocked and I never have issues finding things. Most Dollar Tree stores have similar layouts so not sure why people are having difficulty searching for things. Although there is usually one cashier the majority of the time, the long line never bothers me because it goes by quickly. What really bothers me is all the rude ass people complaining in line. Customers should really show some empathy -- the staff members are friendly and hard working. BUYER BEWARE!!!! In November I went to this location to purchase some wrapping paper and get a little head start on my Christmas shopping. I purchased a few items, went to the counter to pay. My total was $23.00. I handed the clerk a $100 bill. He then told me he didn't have enough in his register to break that bill. He said he would go to the safe and get my change. After disappearing behind the counter, the employee handed me my change folded up inside of my receipt. I took my items and left. When I went to my car, I took out the change and the receipt so I could put it where it belongs in my wallet. I was astonished to find only $30.00 inside the receipt. I confronted the clerk who then told me that his change drawer balanced out and that he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him to count the cash in his safe (after all, this is where he got my change from, not the cash drawer.) He then informed me that his safe was over by $60.00. I then told him he only owed me $47.00. He then stated that his safe balanced out and that he didn't owe me anything. He refused to rectify the situation and then on top of that, called me a liar. I will NEVER shop at this store again, or any other Dollar Tree store. When I asked to speak to a manager, the clerk told me he was the manager. I called their corporate office, and even they refused to handle this situation. This chain of stores and it's employees are dishonest and disrespectful. Be careful when shopping here and if your cashier's name happens to be STEVEN, double count your change, watch him closely!! read more

I just left. Line stretched halfway through the store with one register open. Then, that register malfunctioned. Another employee came out and said she'd open another in a bit. She disappeared into the back. The cashier on the original broken register just stood there instead of trying to use one of the six other registers available. I threw my stuff down and left. i bought two of the sickest pair of sunglasses here! the second pair just broke last week...meaning i had them for 1 year before they fell apart. I get a lot of stuff from ei. cleaning supplies, mugs, christmas decor. and i even got a lot of stuff for my birthday party last year including a dozen helium ballooons for a dollar each. i got a lot of compliments on how fly they were. (yes fly $1 sunglasses) dont get the food from here...who knows how old it is. we recently bought an inflatable kiddie pool (no i dont have kids all my rooms mates are in our early 20's and we like to party) to go with the kiddie pool we were able to get fun noodles at dollar tree and had a good ole party! i also bought supplies for work form there and school supplies. the stuff is pretty cheap but id rather not pay $5 for the same stuff at target. read more

This is by far my least favorite Dollar Tree. It's tiny, packed, and carries very few of the products that almost all Dollar Trees carry! It's organized in aisles, similar to all other Dollar Trees that I've been to. But it's absolutely tiny and the aisles are impossible to get down unless you're the only person in that aisle. Many of the products that I was considering were placed on top of the aisles so it was impossible to get to them unless you were right feet tall. And there are zero employees around to help assist you with getting products down. This ruined their sales because it stopped me from buying a couple of things, as I'm sure it does for many others. I then stood in line behind a woman who had many different baskets but there only seemed to be one employee in the entire store. I ended up walking out empty handed. read more

Before in the smaller space in the same shopping center they always had 2-3 registers open and about 2 employees fixing around .. now Only one person for the whole store ... it can take up to 20 minutes in line since there is only one cashier... they have no workers to help out ... it's ridiculous how they get about twice the space but no workers at all.. if there is another or all you can hear is them whining about how they have to do everything and still get in trouble for not getting things done!! That makes me not want to even step in there.. I now drive about 15 minutes to go to blossom and Snell than walk 5 minutes to go to this one!!! me and my wife were passing through San Jose originally we were gonna stop at Walmart but my wife wanted to check out the plaza and we saw the tiny dollar tree. when we walked inside we were shocked to be greeted ,by a sales associate with tealish hair i think his name was James and every other dollar we have been too they don't bother to greet now and days so we shopped and looked around and honesty i wish the store was at a bigger location! the cashier James helped us and told us about a non profit operation homefront which to my knowledge being a vet i didn't know they existed so naturally we donated! he was really a good cashier!not alot of people now and days have good customer service! its the little things like that will make us come back! congrats James! keep up the good work! read more
