I stopped by Miniso while in the Oakridge mall. I needed a travel size hair brush and a compact brush/mirror for my purse. They have so many options to pick from. Their displays are very neat and organized. They have a lot of the Sanrio characters as well as Disney and the Peanuts. They have a ton of plushies, household items, hair care products and cosmetics as well as toys and travel size items. The prices are a bit high but some things are worth it. You check out at the self serve kiosk at the checkout counter. There were 2 employees at the front counter but neither acknowledged me. read more

A cute store that is a good replacement to Daiso since the Daiso location at Oakridge mall closed suddenly recently. It has stationary, make up, toys, collectibles from mascots like Pokémon, Sanrio and other anime. It's a well clean and popular store that attracts all audiences. I came in to find some blind boxes but this location didn't have any. The staff were nice and easy to talk to. You can either pay with a live person or scan on their machine for easy self check out. read more

Oh...em...gee... how in the world have I only recently discovered this store on my radar?!?! AND especially when they had a special Harry Potter collab??? It has a lot of character paraphernalia but the store is selective on who they choose to go with. I saw some select Sanrio characters along with Bare Bears, Minions, Tom and Jerry to name a few. Otherwise they have a lot of super cute items along with things you would find at a Japanese convenience store like snacks. The store also has a rewards program too. Very easy to get lost in here looking through everything. I went ballistic looking at everything Harry Potter. They had special promotions to go with each purchase so I got a good haul. Miniso is brightly lit and there is a lot of traffic in there so you may find yourself weaving through small crowds of people. Prices are on the higher end depending on what types of things you get such as stuffed animals. The stuffies come in all sorts of sizes. You see a small one and then there is a slightly bigger one of the exact same doll, leading to the giant one costing an arm and a leg. Anyway a super cute store and I always browse through it every time I go to the mall. read more

Easy self check-out, workers assisted my friend instantly, such cute and practical BT21 merch that was on sale-- some items almost 70% off! Definitely recommend their clearance section, it has great items for everyday living or decoration pieces. Overall the store is organized and was not too packed. read more

This is now my favorite store next to Daiso within the Oakridge Mall! I found this spot randomly when I was at the mall with my sister-in-law, and once I saw all the cute items and the blind boxes they had in the front I immediately had to make a B line for it. This spot is extremely comparable to Daiso, however, the price point is a little bit higher. Because of this though, I feel like they are able to carry a much more diverse selection. They have a huge variety of plushies, of every day toiletries, or slippers and random every day items. They have a lot of keychains and mini Lego builds, they have a great Selection of blind boxes as well. I have never really been one for blind boxes, but as soon as I saw that they had a We Bear bears selection, I immediately snagged one. The music they have is very relaxing and fun, I feel like the isles could have been a little bit wider, but because they are smaller, they are able to fit more rows of merchandise. They have a decent selection of cosmetic stuff, and when they are busy, there is a line that unfortunately feeds into the isles, however, they typically do have two people at the registers, and they have a self check out machine right next to the other two registers. My sister-in-law, and I really enjoyed this spot, I know they are nothing brand new, but I had never seen this place before, so it was a really fun experience to be had. I would absolutely come back here, in fact, once my kids saw that I got the blind box, they wanted some too. read more

Miniso - Accessories Near Me - San Jose, California

I'm not a fan of Oakridge's Miniso. Although this location is extremely spacious and aesthetically pleasing on the eyes, there is such an anal, sterile feel to it. Refraining from touching items feels like it's unspoken but very apparent rule!! My daughter was drawn in by all of the adorable plushies and made sure we popped in. With only one other customer in the shop, you get a very unwelcoming vibe. Not a single employee said hello but the one gal was sure to follow us around and fix whatever item my child reached out and touched. Like a lot of us, I've had my share of experience when it comes to sales and customer service. I understand the annoyances of toddlers/children but it's something to be expected- they are guaranteed to touch, grab, and take. There's no way around it. 1 star. I prefer the Great Mall Miniso, not only because the employees are friendlier but because they seem to have a larger variety of items for sale. read more

Miniso at the Westfield Oakridge Mall is huge. They're similar to Daiso (a Japanese discount store) where there are random housewares and knick-knacks but Miniso has aisle after aisle of Disney collectible toys and plush animals. Prices are reasonable although higher than Diaso. It reminded me of Disney Stores - which my kids used to love going to. Definitely a fun place to buy gifts for little ones! read more

I purchased a water bottle and food storage container for my niece and I realized later that these items were not labeled BPA free and can be harmful to children. I tried to exchange theses items for something else but the store associate said it was passed the 7 day return/ exchange policy. I understand the really short return policy and I came on the 8th day but i think the store associate should be more understanding of the reasons for return and miniso policy should make exceptions especially when the products is a health related issue and the items are brand new accompanied with a receipt. At least let us exchange the hazadous materials for something else. Customer service and retum/exchange policy needs improvement to meet tbe needs of customers. read more

I've been in several times and twice had a sales associate in a seemingly kindly and obtrusive way and without permission interact with my toddler daughter without even acknowledging me her parent. Not sure if this is how they are trained here but I found it creepy how they casually overstepped boundaries almost like low level grooming. It gave me an ick feeling. Miniso should do away with sales people period and install some sort of automated transaction system with remote surveillance. read more

There's no price tags on anything... and I was just charged $17.95 for a cheek stick/blush?? I was confused when I saw my total, then shocked when I saw the receipt. Boy, is this place a ripoff! There is a huge sign in the window that says "$10 and under." That is a lie. More than half the items in this store cost well over $10, with many being over $20. I thought it would be similar to Daiso with lots of good deals, but it's not even close. read more

This location has a lot of great products ranging from home goods to snacks but where other locations like the great mall store have a large supply of marvel items, they are in shorter supply. You can still find some pretty cool Disney items that you won't see other places and for the prices, they can't be beat. If you come here, take your time and look through each aisle and shelve as you are guaranteed to find things that you didn't know you needed. read more

Items aren't correctly labeled with the pricing. There was a shelf where everything was $10 except the top shelf, which was $15 something. We grabbed something from the bottom and was charged around $20 instead. The male employee with glasses just said " we're working on it" when I asked him why there wasn't a price even near 20 on it. read more

Let me start by saying the employees are very dry and unfriendly... They have 4 signs that says these items are a $1 however when I took it to the register to pay they charge me $2 I said oh the sign says a $1 she replied oh we didn't change the signs yet I said, but that's deceiving because you're letting customers think it's a $1and then you're charging $2 that's not honest she said I can't do anything about it. I said OK let me speak to a manager. The manager came and looked at me with annoyed face, and said I can't do anything about it. I said well, you need to take the signs down cause you're tricking your customers, she replied I will ...walked away and continued doing whatever she was doing... OK so I proceeded to buy other stuff and I noticed the price was way higher than what I should've paid so I questioned it and she goes oh I overcharged you‍... they seem very dishonest.
