I always come to this dollar tree, and I enjoy shopping here. Today was like any other day until I was making line to pay, and this disrespectful customer in front of me paying started yelling at the cashier, Hilda because they had no paper to her wrap her mugs. Then the manager comes and tells her that they have no paper and starts yelling at the manager, Tyson. Being disrespect to everyone, (even yelling at her own daughter) I had enough and put my two cents in and she started yelling and desespecting me, insulting me. This crazy lady even called the cops, but the cops didn't show up because their was no reason for them to come. I've only done online pickup here (recently for my backyard wedding), and it has been great! I haven't had any issues. I go inside, I've been helped quickly and the staff were friendly. They even helped me with the dolly to my car both times as the boxes were very heavy (full of glassware) and the carts do not go to the parking lot. I would recommend for online pickup! read more

This is a typical Dollar Tree. Came in here with my sister because she loves this place for random knick knacks for her daughter. There's a bunch of stuff here: books, food, gift bags, balloons, party supplies, raffle tickets, toys, tools, tupperware, snacks, holiday items, decorations, etc. The store itself is okay, I don't usually find anything I want when I come here... but it's still fun to see what kind of things they have. Anyway, the service here is awful. The cashier had major attitude. Wish I knew her name, but she is an eye-roller, sighing about the line... I'm not even asking for them to be nice, just asking for no negative attitude. If you do not want to do your job and provide decent customer service then do not work in the service industry. read more

This store is always crowded and lines are long. You will be lucky to get 2 cashiers. I have been in with the line almost near the back of the store with one cashier. She overhead paged for help several times. Finally 3 people came from the office. 1 left. 1 went to floor. And the other played around with the cash register. Went to office a few times. Then finally opened. This happens regularly. I have put my items back on many occasions and opted to pay higher prices at big lots up the street. If I walk in and see the line long with one cashier I will not even enter the store. Customer service needs to be educated at this location. read more

I should have lowered my expectations when I came here. Then again, everything is cheap, and I love cheap things. A lot of the stuff they sell here is cheap, party goods and toys. And lots of Christmas stuff, since I came here the week before Christmas. One day, I will come back and go to town on cheap toys, cookies from Mexico, and party favors. This store is an absolute nightmare! On 10/02/17; I was at the store to purchase Halloween decorations totaling to a little over $64. Among them, there were 24 lighted pumpkins which we intended to use as path markers. All but 6 of the pumpkins would not turn on. I was unable to find my receipt since I had not planned to return any of the items. On 10/05/17, I went back to the store to change the 96 defective pumpkins. The cashier (Jo) was the RUDEST person I've ever come across in any retail business! She wouldn't even listen or look at m6 items as she rudely interrupted me when I was explaining my reason for the visit and asked for the receipt. I told her I had misplaced the receipt but all I wanted was an exchange for the exact same item. She refused and said "it's our corporate policy!" I told her I had the credit card which I used for the purchase. She shrugged and repeated the "company's policy". Another employee(Rosario) who was even ruder than Jo retrieved a crumbled up receipt out of the TRASH CAN, handed it to me and directed me to read the return policy!! I asked to speak to the manager. Jo said the manage wasn't in and the assistant manager(Milagros) was on her lunch hour! (At 8:45 p.m.) when the store was closing in about an hour. I asked for her name and she responded: "Why do you need my name?!" A customer paying for he4 items asked Jo why she wouldn't allow the exchange! She repeated it's company policy. Another told her wouldn't it be easier to just change the item instead of wasting time arguing with a customer? She rolled her eyes and didn't en acknowledge the question. She then told me I could wait for 15-20 minutes until the manager returned from lunch! Over $6.00!!! If that is the company policy and the company had complete MORONIC robots who just repeat themselves to assist customers, then they should change that policy! No policy is written in stone and the employees should use discretion when dealing with customers.. Over $6 when all I was a asking for was an exchange of defective items. All these employees, including those setting "policy" should remember with 99cent store approximately 2 miles away and .97 discount store even closer, there are plenty of other places for customers to shop! Without customers, they'd be out of a job so they may wish to reconsider their treatment of their customers! They have definitely lost my business and I will tell everyone I know to reconsider spending a penny there! My neighbor suggested I call my credit card company and put a dispute on the charges since they refused to exchange non operating merchandise. I will certainly do that if the issue can't be resolved with my call to their corporate customer service. read more

I shop at Dollar tree often enough. My family and my son's family and our friends sometimes shop here. We have the same complaint about the rudest employee. Her name is Rosario the one with glasses that works evenings!! EVERYONE except for HER is pretty good. We will now further make a formal complaint to the city as she should NOT be working in this line of work!! Here is why...... Rude, attitude, not nice at all, unprofessional, tells people off, degrades people when they do not deserve that, clicks, makes fun of people, laughs at people when they may be having a hard time understanding her, discrimination!! We are not the type to complain at all its very rare and we make sure we know details before we do. If this continues we will have to take our complaint to another level as mentioned. I give this store 4 stars only because the OTHER employees are doing a great job. I have shopped at this store many times and regularly 2 x a week for years until recent. I am making a formal complaint here. Please note : Myself as well as a few family members and friends have had the very unfortunate experience at this store primarily due to an employee whom works here currently by the name of Rosario. I never go onto Yelp to give a poor review about anything often, it's rare and only when it has been a problem with an employee more than 3 times as I have a family a busy schedule and I am not the complaining type. My review and complaint here is about the employee Rosario " whom has displayed a very unprofessional , rude , sarcastic, mean, unprofessional negative attitude towards my family and a few friends. Rosario is not nice when asked the simplest questions and absolutely no Customer professional caring customer service. This employee is showing discrimination and the above bad attitude towards many people including the sick and elderly. She makes the shopping experience a very bad one. We ask that this employee be repremended talked to about her poor work ethics, If she is not than we will take this formal complaint to the City Hall, bbb , Givners office and further state reps. My mom had her wallet stolen today, while standing in line that this store. When she made it to the cashier she realized the lady that had distracted her had grabbed her wallet. The cashier never offered to file an incident report. My mom got so flustered she forgot to ask them if they had cameras so she went back later on. Rhonda the manager told her there were no cameras in the store...? Which is a lie I know they have cameras because they have a loss prevention program. So I called just now and Rhonda quickly retracted her statement... and said "oh well our cameras just got redone this weekend." Well that seems very dishonest to me that she would like that they did not have in store cameras, and she didn't file an in store incident report. I plan on filing a police report because once I told her that she said that it had to be turned into their loss prevention and that they could pull the footage from the store. I've been to this store several times and I'm really disappointed in the store manage lack of compassion, resources, and the fact that she just really lied... not a customer of this place anymore 99 cents store all the way read more
