They have some furniture as well. (Mattresses, couches, tables.) It's very clean and well organized. The store doesn't smell bad. It's a pleasant shopping experience. There's stuff brand new in the box. If I'm already in the area or nearby I would pop in to see what new inventory they have. I think as long as you think of it almost like a thrift store (no guarantee what you'll find that day although they have a little bit of everything and at what price) you'd be setting reasonable expectations for yourself.

They are an outlet for returns and damaged items, overstock, etc for big box stores like Costco, Sam's Club and Target, so you just have to know the prices of things or you need to search for the original prices on your phone. Generally, their food items are pretty good deals, but you need to check for items being expired or nearing expiration. Today the store was packed full of stuff and to my surprise, plenty of shoppers! They have a good amount of furniture and appliances today. I went to the Vacaville location and the staff was friendly and the store was well stocked. However, there were so many flickering overhead lights that every area of the store was affected. As someone with medical conditions affected by lighting, it was very difficult to get what I needed. When I left, I was shaking and feeling so ill that it took some time for me to recover well enough to drive safely before I could leave the parking lot. This is a disappointment, as the Vacaville location is, in my opinion, one of the better-stocked and better-priced Grocery Outlet locations that I have shopped with. ***EDIT/UPDATE (same day!)*** The store owner responded and acted quickly, and has updated me that the lights are scheduled to be fixed by Friday. This cat in San Francisco got run over by a Waymo. Tragic - the back 1/3 of him got run over by this robot car and it wouldn't stop. Little KitKat used his front two paws to crawl back to the safety of the sidewalk in front of his little Bodega. Everybody knew him - and if you frequent Delirium next door you were his friend. So many junkies tear off and steal everything in sight - even from a cat that suffered such a tragic death. Its a constant battle for me to keep his memorial tree looking decent as screamers pull off anything that is shiny or looks valuable. I do my best to tie things down with wire and rope and buy some little hearts here and photo frames - little paw print this or that. The good people at Waymo could care less - so I step in. Instead of helping me, she took the next customer in line. I figured maybe their few items would be quicker, so I let it go. Then she took the next customer, who had a basket full of items. At that point, I politely said, "I believe I was next for balloons?" She looked at me and said, "Well, you're not in line. You're just standing next to the balloons." I reminded her that she had already acknowledged me and that I had specifically told her I was waiting for balloons. Her response was to make a coughing noise, roll her eyes, and then tell everyone, "Sorry, I guess I'll have to make you guys wait." I've worked retail before, so I understand that things get hectic. I wasn't looking for special treatment I was simply expecting basic communication and common courtesy. What really bothered me was what happened as I was leaving. I heard her tell the people behind me that I "wasn't in line" and had "just cut" them. Thankfully, the customer behind me spoke up and said, "I even knew he was waiting in line for balloons." Her response? "Well, that makes one of us." That level of attitude toward a customer is completely unacceptable. If interacting with the public is that much of a chore, maybe customer service isn't the right position. Absolutely horrible experience. Zero stars if Yelp would allow it. The products are beautiful and pricier due to the quality of the materials, size, and additional craftsmanship. The outlet prices are discounted from their retail pricing. From what I can see, the discounts seem comparable to the as is conditions. The majority of the design look is modern classic. They do have statement pieces screaming other styles such as bohemian and eclectic. On my last visit, as I was walking about, the 3 various sales staff walked past me without acknowledgment. My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.
