Just about the whole store is $1.25 which is amazing (even brand named stuff) but with the exception of a few people, most of the employees are miserable and rude especially the manger who refused to open a register during a rush saying "I'm the manager". If you're looking for some entertainment during your errands then this is the place to go. There is always someone causing a scene which keeps me occupied while waiting on the long line with only one cashier and a manager who feels too entitled to ring people up herself. read more

It's a dollar tree. This one is the nicer than I've been to. They have a good range of items that I needed. I was happy to save a quick dollar and still satisfying my needs. They have many household items and now a good selection of Christmas gear. The cashier was really nice checking me out. Quick and speedy. read more

I'm getting ready for my trip back home to Florida. I wanted to get some snacks for the trip. They were cleaned out of almost everything because of the holiday. To me this store was smaller than the others I've been too. I spent less than 10 bucks on things that I forgot to bring with me. Checkout was very fast usually there's a long line. read more

The price increase is a disgrace for products that used to cost 1.25 and were worth that or less. Now the cups and plastics containers, minimal ribbons that contained a small amount of ribbon which were ok at 1.25 have all increased, so youre getring less qty for more $$$$, along with other items like the cheaply made mugs cost 1.50 or 1.75, outrageous, Flowers 2.00 at this store. You can find less expensive items now at Target at their bullseye section and also even Five Below has items. I also saw the cat food thay was once affordable for all these seniors for their cats went from 1.25 to 2.00 at this store. You're gp8ng to loose a lot of business. On top of these price increses I get the most rude manager which I believe her name is Michelle because thats what the receipt says although I don't belive thats her real name. Please reconsider bringing down some of these prices. You're always going to make money but it's so unfair to people who rely on items from DT. read more

This review is for the White Plains store. There is not much good I can say except that even though the cashiers are overwhelmed, many try their best to be pleasant. I have not experienced nasty ones, as some others have posted. The place is a dismal testament to poor management. Always dirty and cluttered with candy strewn all over the floor and nothing put on racks. Just dumped into bins. Floor is a filthy, sticky mess and I see the same open food on the floor even a week later. There are boxes of inventory stacked to the ceiling waiting to be shelved, but they remain day after day while the shelves in the corner photo are bare. Doesn't this chain ever inspect White Plains? It's embarrassing. They must know they're going out of business...everyone has given up...they don't even TRY to keep it sanitary. read more

Today I shopped in the Dollar Tree at 100 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY. I shop here at least once a week. The shelves are always poorly stocked or the items are damaged or opened. Worst of all, I always get over charged by the cashier. When I brought it to the cashier's attention, she denied over charging me and had me recount all of my items. I noticed that I was over charged for 3 items. She was extremely rude and called the manager. The manager was also rude and told me she didn't have time to help me and that I had to wait. As a result, I told the cashier that I would take 2 additional items for the mistake. I didn't realize that she charged me 3X for items she charged me for twice. The customer service is poor and the employees are extremely rude. The cashiers and managers are rude and they don't even greet you when you say hello. I am not a big fan of the service that I receive, which is every time I go into the Dollar Tree in White Plains. The employees need to take a class on customer service and get more cashiers. This particular store needs a new crew of employees that are better trained to deal with customers. read more

Really not that great, but the deals are nice. Huge lines.... understaffed, even though the employees are friendly. Today two middle school girls were there blasting r-rated music through a big portable speaker as they waited in line. Just read the other reviews about MICE being in this store. Yuck. read more

This place is an ABSOLUTE mess. I've been at least 10 times and each time is worse than the next. This last time was the worst and I just left. Do yourself a favor and walk a block over to Happy Discount Center at 112 Mamaroneck. It's well stocked and above all...it's clean an organized. I refuse to go back to this Dollar Tree again. They must be under new management because they have become well stocked and cleaned. The store was a hot mess for a long time but they have greatly improved. The best time to come is when they open at 8am to be the rush of people and standing on line to pay. Their is one cashier that always has a smile on her face and is always so damn positive. Terrible management [therefore] terrible attitudes from staff. The place is usually a mess, long lines, never a thank you or even an acknowledgement from cashier. It's a shame the management/service is so bad because it's the last dollar store in White Plains due to rent spikes. It's saving grace is a Betty Crocker utensil wall that offers great value - similar stuff goes for 10x-15x higher at target. It's a very good store and everything is very well organized but I wish they had a teenage section like: Clothes (Ripped jeans, crop tops, cute clothes, etc.) mirrors, diaries, squishys, fidget toys and everything that teenagers like, like me but apart from that it's clean except for the fact that people keep it messy and everything is very good. read more

This Dollar tree in White Plains use to be my favorite place to go, but lately it becoming very unpleasant to shop at. First of all the employee are so unprofessional, which I could over look because I love the dollar tree products. What I can't over look is the ton of boxes stacked in the front of the store, I feel like how do you sell products that are in boxes and isn't this a fire hardzard. The thing that put the icing on the cake for me was that when you walk in the store it smells like dead mice and there are mice droppings everywhere thoughout the store this is totally disgusting, the department of health need to shut this place down until they get their act together. read more

Clean and well-stocked. The shelves were neat and full of merchandise. There were plenty of well-arranged greeting cards. The checkout line was a little long but moved quickly. The long line was caused by one of the cashiers making balloon bouquets for Mother's Day which she did with a lot of good-natured enthusiasm. read more

I waited about two weeks for my order which was supposed to be delivered to this store for a pick up. Finally I received an email that my order is ready for a pick up. I arrived to the store around noon time, waited about 20 minutes for a manager and then another 20 minutes while they were trying to locate my order - NO luck. I called corporate office, they said that there is nothing they can do but re-ship my order to the store one more time and I have to wait another two weeks... I waisted about an hour. What a shame... The store looks like a junkyard, no wonder they can't locate packages... I visit this store about once every two weeks and it's always the same way - messy and dirty. See pictures attached. Really funny how a lot of these reviews posted here complain about this store. You simply can't get better prices on many products anywhere else, yes the lines may be a little longer, and the store more basic than others, however the money you can save here is incredible, especially on cleaning supplies, bath items, kitchen supplies and many other things I have found over the years. The cashiers are always super polite, helpful and friendly and have to put up with a lot of abuse from customers who think they are shopping on 5th Avenue. If you don't like going into the store you can order in quantities from the company's website and they will notify you when your order has been shipped to the store or have it delivered to your home. During the first few weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many other stores around tripled the prices on cleaning products and toilet paper, Dollar Tree still sold all of their products for $1.00 which was a very honest thing to do. The store employees also had to come to work everyday and risk their health and safety during that time so let's have some respect for them also. read more

I was so excited to get a dollar tree in white plains. I have gone to them by my family's summer home upstate and by my job in the Bronx. Omg this store is horrible. Not only dirty but shelves will be empty yet there will be filled boxes in corner of store. After they lost their license to sell food(for obvious health and safety reasons) the store appeared to get a little bit more organized and cleaner. Had not been there in a while well it is back to there old ways I purchased nothing and just walked out. I will say the few times in the past I did make purchases the staff was pleasant but poorly managed and extremely unkept. read more

There's lots of good stuff in this store but I will warn you Stay away from there dollar hair dye. I tried it it was so bad and damaged my hair very badly. It looked nice and worth trying but seriously don't do it! Otherwise they got almost any cheap thing you can think of you need around the house usually for five dollars for just one dollar. I'm a local shopper & dollar happens to be the 1st place I go before fully going shopping into the other stores around the way. My elderly mother was also a fan until she & her service dog entered the store & immediately a woman of Latin descent approached telling my mother how she's the manager & how she can't bring a dog into the store. My mother tried her hardest to let the lady know that this is her service dog along with proof of it being a service dog with a certification card but this manger became belligerent, yelling at my elderly mother becoming confrontational saying how she does not care & to get out of her store as she proceeds to threaten to call the police. The issue only creating uncomfortable vibes for other seniors in the store with disabilities. This was absolutely no way to act with a managerial position. read more

This store opened in a space that for several years was a Duane Reade, and before that was a RockBorrom (which was bought by Duane Reade,) Mamaroneck Avenue used to have several discount stores, but most have closed, so this store opening is a welcome addition to the city. They have a wide variety of items priced at a dollar, including items I've seen at other Dollar Tree stores,e.g. Utz white cheddar popcorn ( 4 oz.), and a nice assortment of snacks, as well as refrigerated and frozen items. At this location, the CVS down the street should watch out, and Target and Walmart could both lose some walk in traffic. They clearly just opened, as evidenced by the empty boxes neatly folded from unpacked items at the front of the store during my visit today. That said, the shelved were well stocked and in good order, and anyone who knows item price will find plenty of good values. read more

listen good people king sadri enjoys going to dollar tree and while watching for my brother nunu i will do some shopping and believe me for 100 bucks i will have a good amount of booty (pirate slang ). this dollar tree was a few other businesses before and was closed for a while and i am personally glad that it's no longer empty cause along mamaroneck ave it's starting to look like a semi ghost town with many for rent signs along the ave. ok this d tree is well stocked with the usual stuff from a to z and it's clean and organized with workers who seem friendly and doing a decent job.the layout of the store is easy to navigate around each aisle, i usually pick up plastic spoons and forks , plastic cups, plates, and house home items that are cheaper compared to the local supermarket . i got what i needed and for about 92 bucks including tax i dont know how i will fit all this stuff in the car cause paper towels takes up alot of space. 4.5 stars for dollar tree. .p.s. extra star is cause the exotic looking gal behind the counter is stunning. read more
