I've enjoyed my first two visits to this cute salon. I was there just a week after they opened. I came in for a blow out and eye makeup​ up. My curls from the blow out lasted all long and I was very impressed with that. Jennifer is the owner and also my stylist. Very personable and friendly. My second visit was this morning, at 8am because I had an event to get to. I arrived on time at 8am sharp and another girl opened the door but Jennifer had not showed up yet so I was getting pretty nervous because I was on a time crunch. She showed up 10 minutes late which I was bit worried I wouldn't be done in time. An hour later, she was done although she promised she'd be in done sooner. My only complaint is that they need to work harder to be on time for their appointments. They were also behind for my first appointment, and I had to rush to get home and out the door. Please be mindful of the fact that customers have events they need to get to and that they should pay more attention to appointment times. read more

Got my eyebrows waxed here and Drew did an AMAZING job. She waxed my brows and then filled them in. They look awesome. Plus the wax that they use was so different than any other place I've had my eyebrows done- It barely hurt at all. (Even less than the wax at the European Wax Center, which is known for their gentle wax) This place is adorable. I will be going back for sure. read more

So glad I discovered this place! just got the organic glow spray tan and it looks SO good. Jen made it just the right shade, It's completely even and looks really natural. This is my new spot! I also love how they give you these pads that stick to the bottom of your feet so you don't get the weird dark spots. So easy, so fast and such a cute place too. read more

This is such a great brow place! I normally get them threaded since I have bad experiences with waxing but I thought I might try one more time. So I looked up waxing places and found this one, I'm so incredibly glad I did. They were so sweet and nice throughout the whole experience. Ironically, the girl that did my brows was the same girl that first did my brows 4 years ago! And even then I remember LOVING how she did my brows. So I'm glad I came full circle and ended up back in her hands. My brows look incredible and it's so refreshing to have an incredible eyebrow waxing place now. Was supposed to have my first appointment here today. Showed up a few minutes early because I can't stand being late. The receptionist was the only person in the place. She told me someone would be back to help me shorty, as they stepped out. My appointment time came and still no one else there. Not a single other person. Waited a few more minutes and took off. Receptionist didn't seem to care and didn't say anything about the hairdresser being late. No one to take me for my appointment, so not worth waiting around. Who knows if i would have got my hair done or how late it would have been. Kind of a bummer. read more

The people complaining about the cancellation policy clearly don't know how businesses operate. A lot of people in the beauty industry work as independent contractors which means their time is money. If you're on the loyalty program and already getting a reduced price for your service, then you can't have any complaints if your card is charged 50% if you cancel with less than one days notice and full price if you no show. Without this policy they would likely have to increase the price of services for everyone to make up for lost revenue for people who no showed. FYI when I signed up for the loyalty program they were very upfront about it and it is also clearly on display for all to see on the front desk every time you walk in. If you don't like the policy then don't sign up for the loyalty program... it's not difficult people! read more

I went in for makeup and hair for my 40th birthday bash, which was a Mexican Fiesta theme. Service couldn't have gone better. From scheduling my appointment, to being greeted upon arrival, having my hair washed, braided and makeup done. It was all so easy, flawless and fun. I didn't know what I wanted when I got in there, but their braider got in there and I was in love with the end result. As for makeup, I was asked throughout the process if this was what I wanted, should more be added, etc. and huge for me was they put eyelashes on me and they lasted the WHOLE night. I danced and danced and was a sweaty mess but it all lasted the entire night!!! Definitely a talented and fun group. I'd absolutely go back and highly recommend. read more

I originally came here when I purchased a Groupon. I was in the area and they were able to take me in as a walk in so that was convenient. After my session they asked if I wanted to sign up for their loyalty program and set up my next appointment so I said sure. Well 2 days before my appointment someone called and left a message and said that they're going to have to reschedule my appointment, I literally called back 2 mins later and no one answered the phone. I left a message and kept trying to call back every 30 mins for maybe 3 times. When that didn't work I tried calling the next day and even the day of my appointment and no one ever answers their phone. What kind of business doesn't answer their phone? How are you going to ask me to set up a future appointment before I leave and then call me 2 days later and leave a message that my appointment has to be rescheduled (BECAUSE OF YOU) and then when I try calling back you don't answer your phone? By the looks of some of these poor reviews it looks like I'm not the only one who had a problem with trying to reach someone over the phone. Needless to say I won't be back and I don't recommend this place. I'll take my business back to the European Wax Center. read more

I was a repeat customer, but will no longer go here. I scheduled to have hair & make up done her for my son's wedding a few weeks ago. This is for the hair. I was satisfied with the make up job done. I notice most review on here are for tans and waxing...not many for hair, and with the results I got I see why. First, the stylist arrived late, not a great way to start, we were on a tight schedule with a wedding to get to. She appeared to not have brought any pins or clips etc... Of her own. She complained that the regular staff was on site for a wedding, and took most of the clips, not leaving much for her. I showed her a picture I liked with a half up, half down. The top was pulled back to a braid then hang loosely into curls and the down part was to be loose curls. When I left, I could not see what the top part looked like as she said it was best to leave the bottom half up in pin curls that I can let out at the event. Once at the event, I had a family member help let down the bottom curls. That is when we could see the top half just looked like a messy rat's nest piled up on top. By the time we arrived at the wedding site, less than a one hour drive from the shop, the sides brought up had already started to fall out too. I had to have my friend pull them back up and re pin. Everyone else had beautiful looking hair that day, and I was upset with my sloppy looking hair All in the bridal party agreed my hair was sloppy looking and saw how it kept falling out. They also agreed it was not braided looking, just wound up loosely & pinned. To add insult to injury, when I got my receipt emailed, they overcharged me $10 on the hair. I wrote the owner, even showed her pictures, & she had the nerve to say that basically " services were rendered, & they are not responsible for what happens after I leave the shop" . She did agree to refund the overchargem but stood by the sloppy hair So guess she is ok with a sloppy looking style that also was falling out in the time it took to drive to the venue(45-60 min). Like I would somehow mess it up myself because every mom wants sloppy looking hair at her son's wedding. She even said she looked at the video camera on the day of and said I was smiling when I left...well, yes I was on my way to my son's wedding, and like I stated the bottom half was pinned up too so I could not see the top half so there is no way she could have seen it clearer on some camera system either! I was more focused on the make up atthe time as that would show more in all pictures versus the back of my head/ hair. Anyhow, I have never had such horrible customer service response from an owner. I can see why there are very few hair reviews on here, mostly tans, waxes or just " blow outs". ...I will not recommend this place to any future brides I deal with...and I have dealt with plenty as I am a wedding coordinator. Another reason why I have seen lots of " wedding hair" and know what looks like a job well done and what doesn't! Mine was a sloppy mess. I visited Dolled Up for my very first Brazilian Wax. Jenn was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable as she talked with me and walked me through the waxing process. The experience wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated and I attribute that to Jenn's skill and expertise. She was wearing her PPE and the facility was clean and beautifully decorated. I mostly just come in to get a Brazilian with Jen, no complaints on the waxing service or prices. I just got a blowout here for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Only $35 and my curls looked fab even threw the next day. I didn't end up getting my makeup done but every time I go in the clients makeup looks bomb. I brought my youngest here (she's 10) to get a blow out for her final Father-Daughter dance last weekend and she loved it. It is super cute inside with little chandeliers, gem encrusted couches in the front and wall of sparkle. My daughter enjoyed her time in there and they switched the movie that was currently playing (not sure what it was) to something kid-friendly which was thoughtful. I could hear the endless chatting coming from the chair and can say her hair did look great! Also enjoyed chatting with the other girls in there and there were all friendly (when they could have thrown me some judgmental looks for my messy mom bun and lack of make up but the day was about a 10 y/o and not her momma). Andres, is so nice , he was a trooper ! I walked in last minute to get a style for an important scholarship dinner in honor of my late father . I had a wedding to go to and several of us wanted to get our hair and make up done. Jen really helped us out as most of us were from out of town. She did all of our make up and hair. She was very professional and was flexible with our schedules. The make up and hair she did stay all through the day and night. I got ready at 1 pm and it stayed in place until 2 am.
