Love love it was my first time here from a friend of recommendation. The minute I walked into the room. I was greeted kindly and I was helped by somebody and I've received such gratification from being here. I can't wait to come back. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. I order online. I'm a savy online shopper and when it comes to clothes, I always--ALWAYS-- measure myself because sometimes their "small" is actually too small and it depends on the company. This place is no different. With that being said, I always wait for the orders because in my opinion, the prices without the sales are outrageous. Otherwise, I think this place is really good to shop for your clothes. I bought from them five times (all of which were on some sale). The only reason this place get two stars is because the in store employee was so nice, and they have a variety of sizes online. What sucks is you cannot get ahold of ANYONE. There is no phone number, you have your literally walk in and they only have like one storefront in LA. Returning or getting answers about in store inventory is impossible. Just not a pleasant experience at all. read more

The employees were really friendly, I like the stuff they sell and it's nice to be able to try everything on. I struggled to find a lot of things in my size (XS-S), they are mostly stocked with large and up, other than the new arrivals. Good selection for goth and festival clothing, might be a little on the pricey side for some items, same as the website. read more

1st time and last time buyer from this company I bought 2 items. They stuff 2 big items into a box that only fit one. Both of my items are damaged. Look like truck ran over my bags. They only refund in store credit. The tell me to claim the route shipping damage. You have to submit your passport or ID for a less than $100 . I'm not risking putting my important paper work on internet for that. I bought a lot of expensive items and no problem for return before. HEADS UP: I'm an old head reviewing this place, so be forewarned. I was searching for the obligatory pleated skirt that seems to be the rage right now, but I haven't had any luck at Nordstrom, Los Angeles Apparel, or even Amazon. I was kicking myself for tossing one that I actually owned no more than a few years ago, so I was once again on the hunt. A colleague had on an adorable one and when I asked her where she bought this, right away she said the brand was 'French Kiss' so I knew what to look up. This led me to the Dolls Kill site. Now I've heard of this uniquely-named place before they opened on Fairfax; another colleague years ago had a cool top from here, and I originally thought it was 'Doll Skill' so of course imagine my surprise when I found out I was incorrect. Judging from the site and the photos of the store, I clearly was out of my element, but I have nothing to lose. Since I wasn't sure of their sizing, I ordered two different sizes to be sent to the store. The skirt fell under a different brand name but nonetheless, it was what I was looking for. Best part is if you order by 12a, they will have your items in-shop the next day. True to their word, an email patched through saying my stuff was ready prior to noon. Parking in this area can be h-e-l-l, so I found a spot on a side street, walked on over, only to encounter...a line. I guess to fit in with the rest of the shops on Fairfax, they too have this along with a velvet rope. I was out there for about 10-15 minutes before being let in. Girl at the rope was super nice though; she let me in even though I was one person over the count. I asked where the 'Quickie Pickup Window' was and she directed me right to where I needed to be. A cool blonde girl was at the window, and she went to grab my package. While I waited, I looked around at the dark store, listening to the loud pulsating music, and eyeing the club clothes I might have worn in another era. The physical space itself could reopen after hours into its own version of a rave from what I could tell. With my package, I wandered over to the register and asked a couple questions and the girl there was very helpful. I wasn't permitted to try on anything due to the fitting rooms being closed (I guess since I'm not an 'influencer', I wasn't allowed but that's okay) so the return policy was explained to me thoroughly before I left. This was one of those situations where BOTH sizes fit, so I had to pick one and stick with it. Came back the following day to return the other size, encountered no line going in this time, and had a pleasant, quick return transaction at the register. Different staff from the previous day, but all were nice. I have to admit we shouldn't judge; these people were 100xs friendlier and helpful than places such as Nordstrom, Tiffany, etc. I was, quite frankly, impressed. Everyone I encountered from the door, window, and register was pleasant which was great. Clearly not their ideal shopper, but I'm really happy with the new skirt and overall, I'm pleased to say my experience here was an A+! read more

Horrible attitudes! Customer service really sucked!! Very rude employees!! When I asked for help they were very aggy about it! I would advise you guys only do delivery instead of store pick up! - I am currently being harassed by store employees and their friends thru a FACEBOOK & Instagram! I will attach what was said!! The employees on Fairfax is harassing me because when the supervisor asked how was my visit I told the truth which was "i was followed around the store in EVERY SECTION which made me feel soo uncomfortable; and not once did anyone ask if I needed any help". After I made the complaint 1hr later I received direct messages saying "ARE YOU THE CUNT THAT WAS IN DOLLS KILL TODAY RACE BAITING" They have also took the time to target my TREAT STORE AND MAKE LIES. My daughter ordered a Halloween fairy outfit that got charged to her bank and never came. She then ordered it to come To the store and had to drive an hour each way 3 times to get it because each time she was told to come back and she got there it wasn't there so she had to come back. Bad bad business especially for a specific date like Halloween. Thank goodness with a day to spare the outfit was there at the store. read more

Came in on a busy Halloween pre-weekend so I expected it to be a bit of wait. However they were understaffed, only three people which wasn't enough help. The staff was very patient and nice, but def busy, overwhelmed, and understaffed (one star for them) NO PRICE MATCHING After being helped and chasing back and forth with assistance I waited a long time in line. I came to the shop to try things on bc they had a great sale online. At check out the price was the full total and not the sale total. They don't price match. It's insane bc the sale for most items is $50+ difference. I asked them why they didn't just announce it, "It's too busy and against policy" Well if I had known - The staff would have been less busy and overwhelmed running around helping people that would just be walk away in the end (as many people came in with the same intentions I did - for the sale) - both staff and shoppers wouldn't have wasted this time - I would have just bought online than have waited but felt gross about the policy that I just didn't want to buy anymore read more

Horrible horrible communication and customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE ONLINE! Placed an order for Quickie Pick up Friday at 8:30am for pick up Saturday. The order wasn't ready Saturday or by Monday at 11am. The store claims to have no affiliation with the online store even though they have an option to pick up your items at the Fairfax store location. Huge waste of time, energy and money. The clothing is so cute but the hassle and dealing with the low class management is not worth it. read more

Alyssa was abt to leave to go home and she saw me there looking frazzled. She threw her cape on and came right to my rescue. I only had to drop off a return but the register was super long. She got a handheld POS and we tried to process my return it was glitching. Did Alyssa give up? NO she got another one!! And that one was dead...and yet she still prevailed taking my packing slip and garments and processing them in the bowls of dolls kill and emailed me my confirmation!!! Give this woman her flowers!!! All TIME WORST SERVICE they will ignore you until you give up the refund. I think this company is deceiving its customers. I paid for the upgraded shipping and didn't receive the product within the timeframe, and when I complained about it, they said they would refund the shipping fee if it didn't get delivered by that evening. The package didn't arrive by that evening and I immediately notified them. Then they removed the phrase "Delivery in 2-4 Days" from their website and refused to refund the shipping fee. I couldn't wear it for Halloween because I didn't receive it in the time frame they stated. Is this company reliable? No. I guess numerous victims in here can sue this company together soon. read more

So busy hard to make way through plaza. Plaza consist of stores, cafe and restaurants. From my viewing of the stores they seemed over priced for junk. As for restaurants, food looked geared towards tourists not authentic. I would skip this place for shopping and eating. There is a grocery store in plaza. Sushi prices seemed ok but not sure of quality. There is a parking lot next to plaza for a charge. Some places offer validation. Plus there are metered spots on the street.

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.
