our entire party of 20 getting ready to enjoy a great meal

Connie had great service quick on her feet and handled our party of 20 so well. Craig a local regular has jokes for days make sure you come by on Saturday that's when he's here. The Dolly sized pancakes are no joke bigger that your plate so come hungry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in the atmosphere is all dedicated and happy workers and people, always making sure your coffees full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 id come back again

Very good food and fast service. The chopped beef is amazing. Support small businesses!

Good place to eat. Food was good. Pancakes are big. People are nice. Seems like a lot of locals come here. I would do it again.

We went to Denny's down the street after the awful experience and maybe Dolly's Diner should take this advice

Traveled several hours to enjoy a fun weekend in Williamsport with my life long friends and we wanted an authentic local diner and we went to Dolly's Diner and immediately felt victimized. When we walked in, Laura was rude and unfriendly and went out of her way to embarrass us. After announcing to the entire restaurant that we can't sit anywhere, she finally let us split up between two tables. We sat down and felt too uncomfortable so we left and we would never go back. But the pancakes looked good. ‍

The second best breakfast place on the planet. Great folks, great food, everybody knows your name. 'Nuff said.

Food was pretty tastey.. portions were on the small side for Americans. The tables, walls and general atmosphere were horrible.

Great place for breakfast, liver pudding a must, just kidding but it's on the menu. Staff is friendly, lots of locals.

Great classic dinner set in the 50's. Very good food and worth stopping by. Fun atmosphere for sure!

Had brunch/lunch here on Thursday. It was terrific! We've been driving by this cafe for almost two…read moreyears. I finally checked with Yelpers who raved about the place, so we gave it a try! I saw online that seating inside is limited, so we went early; good thing we did. The service is very friendly, the employees work together as though they are family. The food options are very creative and portions generous. I had the semolina pancakes with strawberries. Hubby had the Bulgogi toaster. Both were delicious. It took a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait. From the outside, it looks like an old bar, but inside is a comfortable coffee shop. Tables outside too. They have a busy take-out activity too.

The Sawhorse Cafe, Williamsport Pa…read more The breakfasts are pretty good, as is the coffee. I'd say a 5 or possibly 6 out of 10. The space is small and cramped, with an unfriendly "woke" vibe. I've gone there on and off for a few years hoping the vibe might change to be more welcoming, but It hasn't. The last time I was there, I brought my wife for a relaxing breakfast together. There was one table left. I put my phone on the table and got in line to order our food, so when the food comes up we aren't standing there holding our food trying to eat standing up. The two girls in line in front of us waiting to order did the same exact thing, as their 2 purses were on a table and were in front of me in line, as did another man that I know was in line with his hat on a table. However, they decided to humiliate and embarrass us, telling us to take our things off the table and order first before taking a table. Even though we've done it many times before and most people do. We unfortunately were their petty examples of the day. We got out of line and left and spent our money at another breakfast spot that is equally as good or better, without the stress, humiliation and woke attitudes. We will never be back to The Sawhorse Cafe in Williamsport Pa, and I will be sure to tell my circle of friends about my unpleasant experience so they can too decide if they want to eat there. Maybe with less people coming in, we can help your seating dilemma.
