Drove 3 hours to spend a nice weekend with old friends I rarely get to see. Decided to try Dolly's diner which looked like a cute little place to sit and eat! As soon as our group of 6 walked in we were immediately stared at and mistreated due to our larger group. Instead of nicely explaining there were no tables available that were big enough, Laura was incredibly rude and impatient as we tried to figure out what to do. Our group was split into 2 so we quickly decided to leave and go to a place where we could all sit together and we were laughed at and embarrassed by the entire diner. It was very unprofessional and ruined the mood when we just wanted to have a nice breakfast together as friends. Wouldn't go back. I'm sure whoever Dolly is would be disappointed!!! read more

A girlfriend and I went to the third st. location a few months back and when my boyfriend asked me for brunch this past Saturday I suggested Dollys. He insisted we go to the old Donnas location because his dad took him there as a child. They were busy!! We went in and the staff was hustling and all were super friendly. As we were eating 3 young African American kids came in asking for cups of water. I have been in the restaurant business for over 20 years and i was paying close attention to how the staff was handling this. The boys walked over to the counter area and were greeting with such respect from the team there. With a wink the one waitress asked if they would also like a piece of candy. She walked over with this big bright candy dish and allowed them to choose their piece. Sitting back I thought what a great atmosphere here. The staff and owners know that these kids will one day be customer and I am sure they will remember the way they were treated and be life long customers. I have told this story to all of my managers and I hope to spread the positive community engagement that you have shown me. We will also be life long customers as well. read more

Abysmal!!! I've heard mixed reviews. Figured let me try it out and judge for myself. Shame on the owner and the staff. I can see why and how they have managed to get away with what I dealt with.(more on that later) For starters the coffee tasted double filtered or it was as if they were just being cheap with the beans. COMPLETELY watered down straight disgusting. I get better coffee daily from Turkey Hill and that's sad that a gas station has better coffee than a diner. I asked for the coffees to be replaced she brews another pot still tastes like coffee flavored water. So I opt out for a glass of water instead we proceed to order food which now I already am like Shit I can only imagine what's in store for me. I order French Toast with sausage and my buddy gets eggs Benedict with hash browns. As soon our plates come I can see his potatoes are under cooked. My French toast looks good at first but something told me that there's a reason for the phrase looks can be deceiving and it was, I cut the French toast open to take and bite and mouth full of mush under cooked, REALLY!?!? It's French toast such a simple dish and like the coffee it was trash. One bite and I spit it out and gave it back and was done at that point then I ask my buddy to let me try his hash browns and as a former culinary school student(Institute of Culinary Education aka ICE in Manhattan) I noticed they were completely undercooked even slightly raw still. Then waitress decides to cop attitude because I would think she thinks I'm just being to picky but no sweet heart I'm a native NY'er and I know good food and PROPERLY cooked food and I never settle for less! And back to the how they get away with it, well it all makes sense why every time anytime recommends this restaurant they say but just know all the people that eat here are old as hell which they were all 50-60 and ups who we all know had deteriorated taste buds and are less likely to complain. But not this guy I'm 40 and fuck that shit im not about throwing my money in the trash on trash goods.. end rant STEER CLEAR if you value your hard earned money! read more

Food was pretty tastey.. portions were on the small side for Americans. The tables, walls and general atmosphere were horrible.

I live in the Townhouse Community on Wyndham Court and have been eating at Dolly's Diner East Third Street Williamsport PA ever since it opened. I've introduced my Sister and Brother in Law and my Nephew and his wife to the delicious breakfasts served. The food is excellent, service is great! read more

I have breakfast here every Monday morning and have yet to have a bad meal. Whether you order your eggs over easy, sunny side up or poached, they will be done to your liking. Portions are good sized and the price is moderate. read more

I found this place on the app " Around Me". What a find...like others have said the staff is awesome as well as the food. I had the Hamburger BBQ ( aka Sloppy Joe). Not made from something like Manwich, it was all from scratch just like I'd make at home. Fresh cut fries with gravy, they call "wet fries". Quaint atmosphere and friendly people. read more

This was our first time eating here, so we weren't sure what it would be like. Amazingly, our family of 4, including 2 picky kids, LOVED every bite of our food. It is a small, Jersey-like breakfast/lunch spot. Since we are from Jersey, we are pretty particular about places that call themselves 'diners.' They do things a bit differently, such as not including hashbrowns with egg meals, but we had no complaints. The super prices and good food compensated for the differences. My husband and I got veggie omelets and loved them. (Coffee was only ok, but I know I am picky.) Kids got the reasonably priced special that included 3 pancakes, eggs, and a meat. Plenty of crisp bacon was on my daughter's plate, and a good sized, possibly homemade sausage patty on my son's. My bacon-loving, sausage-avoiding daughter kept reaching for his sausage, it was so good! We will be back whenever we're in the area. We highly recommend Dolly's Diner. read more

Everyone told me how great this place was so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the special 2 eggs, toast, and meat. My eggs were really pale yellow like they were from unhealthy chickens and my bacon was deep fried. Everything had a artificial buttery flavor. The service was good and the coffee. read more

Walked in and sat down at the same time as 2 other people. All the waitresses saw us. The got served right away well we sat there for 10 minutes and got the stink eye from the waitresses. Then one walked right by us and started clearing a table in a slow restaurant with hardly anyone in there. We didn't get asked if we wanted water or gave a menu or anything just looked at by the staff well they created other people coming in and served people who sat at the same time as us. Oh there was also 2 other waitresses just standing there. Place is trash service is trash and I wouldn't want to try the food just based on that and how miserable the employees looked. It's sad to here about a place that's good then to go in and be treated disrespectfully. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. read more

Dolly's is great! Everything you would expect to find in a diner you will find inside of Dolly's. The menu is short and sweet but full of variety. A lot of other Yelpers have said the portions are small. I completely disagree. The pancakes are the size of the plate! I order the breakfast sandwich special and I was more than stuffed after eating it. The food is great and the prices are fair. If you're in Williamsport this is the place to go for breakfast and lunch. read more

I've been to many restaurants and plenty of diners In my life, mostly in NJ FL and PA. This is by far the best food I've had from a diner. The Patty melt my husband ordered was awesome, and I usually don't like them. I liked his so much I took half of his. I got chili cheese fries and I asked for a side of mayo and mixed it in .... believe it or not it was really good. The fries seemed like fresh cut and had that brown crispy parts to it. We got a banana nut muffin and it was damn good. I am a baker myself so I tend to be picky with baked goods. So... if you're in the area, go here. Did I mention the bill came to under $12???!!! This is a really great place! They serve breakfast all day and the dinner meals are always tasty too. It's a small place with neat retro decor which means it's cozy and often busy. They close at 3 p.m. every day, so make sure you get there before then. read more

My husband and I have been regular custumers at Dolly's Diner over the last year, but since I have just joined YELP, I am finally afforded the opportunity to put in my proverbial two cents. Today, I enjoyed the sausage and cheese bagel sandwich along with an ocean of fried potatoes. (I'll admit, I'm a pig: I ordered the large size.) Hubby went with his usual, not an adventurer, he, which was the large "Mess" which is exactly what it says it is. It is a concoction of fried scrambled eggs, potatoes, onions, green peppers, covered with melted cheese and looks quite revolting, but according to Steven is ambroisal. With drinks, which included refills, prompt, service, and lovely, smiles from the waitresses, PLUS help to get my wheelchair situated, as I am disabled, our bill came to below $20. Yes, a bit pricey for breakfast, but remember, we piggies had the larger portions. (So much so, we'll probably have a very light supper) The decor is a bit kitzy, but I look at my food when I eat, not a blackboard specials menu, or silk flower arrangements. For good food and lots of it, this is the place for breakfast or brunch. read more
