Michael, the store manager, was absolutely superb! He was patient, never pushy, a true professional! [[HIGHLIGHT]]He assisted with my selection of laminate flooring for 1500 sq Ft townhouse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As I was concerned about my large dog going up and down laminated stairs, he advised to first install the laminate. If the dog as difficulty come back and purchase a runner for the stairs. He could have immediately played on my concerns and sold me a step runner plus installation. Oh, my dog has not issues with the laminate steps. Now, Paulo and his assistant who installed my laminate was always superior! They made me aware of a few minor defects which I figured would be an issue. They repaired them, for a reasonable fee, which Michael info me about and indicated an estimate in the contract. So, I was not surprised. Anyway, the two men did an excellent job. They were extremely thorough; thereby, leaving nothing to change. They cleaned up after themselves, daily! I can not say enough about how great these two men were in both service and installation. Oh, stairs were where the most difficult and time confusing. I highly recommend both Dolphin and Paulo. This is not a reputable business! A purchased made on 1/5/22 @12:38PM predicated on the installers would move the Furniture. A 50% deposit was made via a Visa card "$7,585.00", base on a rough estimate of the amount of carpet needed. That evening I read the small print on the paperwork that was supplied.The terms contradicted what was promised. On 1/6/22 @ 9:30am I CALLED AND CANCELED THE ORDER. They refused to cancel the order or to refund my deposit. read more

Our experience with this company has definitely been hot and cold. Overall, we are happy with the results, but getting to this point was not a smooth process. First, it was apparent that we were just a dollar number to the salesman Mike. When he was going over our paperwork and charges, there were a few things I caught that we were being charged twice for. To his defense, we started the process months ago and he had to go back and remember what exactly our measurements and situation was. Once he had our money, we didn't hear from him unless we called him about an issue...which there were several. Now that the floors are done, we have yet to hear from him. So now on to the actual installation. The gentleman who came were very nice. However, there was a huge language barrier. While they were here, they worked very hard. It didn't seem that there was clear communication between Dolphin and this company (which Dolphin subcontracts to). I had to explain where we wanted tile, carpet and new baseboards. There were two guys who worked on our house from start to finish. Various things were broken through the process and we were never told. These are things we just found. My son's baseball bobble head was broken into several pieces, a plug (where the broken bottom prong was left in the outlet), the dishwasher was pulled out and the clasp broken (we were told it wasn't going to be moved, but they did fix it with no problem), the drywall was ripped out of when they removed the baseboard (when we called Mike at Dolphin, we were told that they do not fix that and we would have to hire a separate contractor), our mirror (in the corner) and another outlet (by the carpet installers). They tiled the closets and forgot to remove the baseboards so they had to go back and do that which they did with no problem. Some of the tile lines are not straight. The positive is that, when there was an issue and we brought it to their attention, they fixed it if they could. For example, there was a tile that was too high, they took it up and replaced it with no problem. I can say that I LOVE how they did the curve on our sunken living room. So, overall, the job is beautiful with a few minor flaws, but be prepared to have a few "hiccups" along the way and check every detail. There were several things we had to tell them to fix before they left. Most of the issues were with the tile. If you plan on using them, be prepared to be treated as a dollar sign by your sales rep. read more

I cannot recommend this place, they do not stand behind their work or apparently the products they sell. I have dogs and they can have accidents so I told our salesman that when we picked out the floors. I am, however, home all day working so if they do I clean it right up. We also have a pool and we also live in Florida but the salesman knew all of this when he recommended this laminate to us. It looked great when installed except for the fact they didn't trim the doors where the flooring got too high so they did a combination of leaving the doors off or taping the threshold to a nearby wall for someone else to complete. Less than a year later, due to inferior product, shoddy workmanship or incorrect installation the floor is buckling. This is happening where I have never see a spill or an accident or any water ever ... randomly, all throughout my house. I had the salesman come look at it at that time but he said it was only guaranteed for 6 months and I shouldn't have gotten this flooring with dogs, but he recommended it! He also said he'd look into it with the manufacturer ... and then nothing. Now it's just under two years since installationand there must be a dozen places where not only the seams are lifting and swollen but at this point the laminate is actually chipping. I know they've been in town a long time and it's a shame but I can't recommend a place where you spend thousands and 6 months later it's not their problem. So disappointed. I'm writing this now because I'm about to replace 2,000 sq. ft. of flooring less than two years after installation and I'm annoyed all over again. I can only assume the good reviews are people who only recently had their floor done ... sure it looks great for a minute, then you get to live with a mess and they don't care. read more

We had a great experience with Dolphin. In the store, Mike spent alot of time with us--giving us the information about the products, and explaining the whole process without any pressure. He let us take home several samples to let us get an idea of what the finished project would look like. He came to the house himself to do the measurements. We needed our sunken living room elevated, old floor removed, and new flooring and baseboards in several rooms installed. Everything was coordinated well and went as planned. My salesman at the Coral Springs Dolphin store, Mike Dubin, made my entire experience exceptional. My first time at Dolphin was in 2013 prior to moving into an inherited condo. Not only did Mike know flooring, he knew what I needed to do to get approval for the installation of my new floors. I saw him in March but the job was not to be done until July. Not a problem! The crew from Dolphin was prompt, polite and put any concerns about moving furniture out of the way. And when the job was done, everything was put back correctly and the floors looked magnificent. I just recently decided to change out the flooring on my small 5 1/2 x 8 terrace. Again, exceptional customer service. I also needed a small repair and got the same level of customer service I had experienced when I did my entire condo. Pricing is excellent and I would never think of going anywhere else! read more

Tile seen in showroom was nothing like the tile delivered. Installer and salesperson seemed surprised it could be so different. Said dye lots must have changed, but I'm convinced they are actually selling factory rejects or seconds. Reorderd a different tile and the same thing happened again.. Not even close to the showroom sample. Then installers refused to tile under dishwasher which had been clearly promised by salesman. Created such a problem that could have been prevented. Installers were decent people but the mess that was left behind was totally unacceptable. It took a month and a team of painters and cleaners to restore to pre-installation condition. I'd recommend a big box store or an online suppler .. Save money and at least they offer cleanup afterwards. read more

Warning! Use Dolphin Carpet and Tile at your own risk! I had flooring put in with them and the installer was very careless, rushing perhaps to finish the job in record time. While he was removing the old flooring he broke a tile that had been installed years before. Luckily, I had an extra tile to replace the broken one; I also had some of the matching grout so there was no problem. The only problem is that I had to pay $100. to have the tile replaced by another installer. I wrote a letter to the company; no one thought it important enough to answer my letter. Very bad public relations, in my opinion. read more
