I didn't stay to work because every seat was taken both times I came in (late morning), so get here early or perhaps late, if you want a seat in the middle of the week. The baristas couldn't be nicer. They took their time and chatted with customers, a rarity in those crowded coffee chains. Do check out those seasonal lattes (I mean, for February, a cherry blossom latte? Say less). My favorite is on the regular menu, a salted rosemary latte and it's literally perfect. I adjusted the sweetness level to be less so, and I loved the notes of floral rosemary and coffee. Pro tip: skip the line and order ahead!

It really did taste like a blueberry muffin. The patio had a relaxed, cozy vibe that made it easy to just slow down and enjoy the morning. Only downside was parking. I had to circle the block twice before finding a spot, so just be prepared if you go during a busy weekend morning. Thankfully, they do have a drive-thru option which is a huge plus if you're short on time or don't want to deal with parking. Definitely still worth the stop for the coffee and atmosphere!!!

We came for the popsicles because we had a coupon for free one. The popsicles are overall really good. Handmade and homemade. You can have them dipped and/ topped. Overall I've been to this particular shop twice. The popsicles are priced about $6 a pop and that is not including the tip you will be asked to give. Nestled in the Mountain Brook area, it's a little hard to see but is right next to Chez Lulu, which I think is a sister restaurant. Parking is a little tricky but manageable. I got there fairly late so the selection was a bit picked over, but I still got a good array of treats to bring home. Service was a touch slow but friendly. They were fairly busy. There's no room to eat inside or outside that I could discern; it's exclusively a take and go type of place. I got two pecan sandies to share with my parents, who were along for the ride, and then a cardamom bun and a peanut butter cookie for later. Sadly, I don't feel like any of the pastries really wowed. The pecan sandies were a little too dry (even as sandies go) and the pecans didn't taste toasted nor were they especially plentiful. The peanut butter cookie was the best thing, though it too was a little on the dry side - nice PB flavor though. I straight up didn't like the cardamom bun. The cardamom flavor was completely overwhelming, to the point it wasn't sweet at all, and instead tasted almost medicinal. The texture was nice but I couldn't finish it. Perhaps I arrived too late to order their specialties. I know they specialize in European goodies so if I return I'll make sure to try a croissant or something similar.

I have to say I'm really impressed with how this area has been revitalized lately! There is both an Honest Coffee and a Frothy Monkey here. All so warm and welcoming. I met up with my friend Miranda here to catch up and since it was in the morning, I totally opted for a caffeinated drink. I saw a lot of other drink options like Miranda's Watermelon Slushie and thought those would be great for when I come by here in the afternoons or evenings. I chose their seasonal drink of the Orange Creamsicle iced coffee. It was delicious! It was just the right proportion of orange creamsicle sweetness but still a good amount of coffee flavor. A barista there gave us juice samples too that I surprisingly liked too. It was some sort of juice of beets, ginger, and other superfoods. I will definitely be venturing this side of town more!

It was much quieter than I expected, but that may have also been due to it being a holiday and folks out and about traveling for the weekend. Food came out before drinks. I know it's hard when there's a large group but I felt it should have been staffed appropriately knowing we were coming. Our group had a good time because we weren't rushed and we got to visit. For people that need to know, there's no handicap parking at all and we needed a spot. One of the ladies made a reservation weeks ago so they knew that we were going to be at least a party of 12 to 14. It turned out to be about 12 when they got the tables together. There was just one full table of about eight people and then two other tables which weren't close to us so they ended up putting an extra table in so we could all sit together. Since it was a Saturday morning, it was pretty busy. Parking is a bit cumbersome. I pretty much had to make my own spot so that was a bit frustrating. I don't think I saw any handicap spots. I arrive there about 1015. We had to wait 15 minutes to get our table which wasn't too bad. When they came around to take our orders, we gave them our drink order and our food order. Several of us got some alcoholic beverages. I was a bit surprised that we didn't get our drinks until after we got our meals. I chose to get the vanilla French toast which came with spiced peaches, but I did not want that. I wanted strawberries which they told me they were out of. My friend next to me got a breakfast board and lo and behold. She had strawberries on there so I asked again for strawberries and the young man said they didn't have any and then I pointed to her board eventually I got strawberries and was charged five dollars for them, which I wasn't told before hand. I did get the espresso martini, which mostly tasted like vodka. It was very strong and not very tasty. Also, the glass was very small. It looked like they only had two bartenders if that you could definitely tell they were behind. All in all my experience, there was not very good. I don't think I will be back. I had a brunch plan there next month that I decided to change to a different location. Rachael was our server and she did you the best she could. She had no control over the drinks. I also asked for extra napkins, which I did not receive. It seemed like it wasn't very well staffed for a Saturday rush.
