    Eggplant Rollatini
    Vishnu G.

We had some classic Italian American food here. The eggplant rollatini were buttery and cheesy, and the ravioli and vodka sauce was also tasty. Both sauces were pretty round and cooked down. The portions were more than enough for two people. The restaurant feels pretty old school with booths and communal tables. The meal worked out to $50 with tax and tip. It's not groundbreaking food, but it's pretty well done.

Great home-y Italian food with a really fun, family vibe Food: the food is good! It's very homey Italian foods the baked ziti, was penne with pasta sauce and cheese on top! The stuffed artichoke Was really good! We got the Saturday special which is chicken, pork and chicken - this was also very good! We also got like half a loaf of bread - needless to say a lot of leftovers Price: I think for the quality - the price is a bit high. Each dish is $20+! Also the restaurant is cash only Service: great service! Everyone was super kind and they didn't rush you which is so nice Ambience: fun vibes all around! I saw a bunch of families! It felt like a place with many regulars

Ordered seven dishes here and they were all awful. Quantity over quality seems to be their motto here. Not worth taking leftovers. 1. They don't serve half their menu on Sundays. 2. Broccoli rabe was like a watery pasta soup 3. Garlic ziti was a greasy mess with a pool of oil 4. Dry ricotta in the stuffed shells 5. Marinara tasted like it came straight out of a jar 6. Lasagna meat looked and tasted like cat food?? Flat, chunky, and spongey. The only edible part was the cheese on top. Service was fine, we were seated pretty quickly for a large group and got water refills frequently. Not sure if they had good food saved in the back for their regulars but I would steer clear.

My brother treated me to lunch. Very nice experience and good memory. My favorite dish was the chicken rollatini (Saturday special) , followed by the shrimp oregenatta, veal parm and pork osso bucco.

One of many Arthur Anderson Ave Italian restaurants in the original Little Italy in North Bronx. First time visiting and it was a winner. For appetizers, we ordered stuffed artichokes and stuffed clams. The artichoke was okay, but the clams were delicious! We also ordered linguini and clams, chicken parmesan over linguine, and a side order of meatballs (2 for $6). The chicken parmesan, linguini, and meatballs were all great. One of my two companions would not share the linguini and clams, but he gave it 5 stars and did not leave a bite behind. The ambiance is old-school Italian with shared rows of tables covered with thick burgundy vinyl tablecloths. There are many tables of 6 and 8, so if you want to eat at your own table you can visit with a group. We were a party of 3, so our table was pushed together with a party of 4, but it was fine. Each party had their own bread, condiments, etc. We were so hungry that we did not spare time to take pictures of our food! But it looked good and tasted good. I will take more pictures next time.:) We did not try dessert, because we visited for lunch. All of the above plus two glasses of Pellegrino totaled $100 for 3 people. Very reasonable. Cash-only establishment.

Simple, excellent red sauce Italian served family style at communal tables. A little touristy, but worth it as the food is tremendous.

An authentic Italian gem on Arthur Avenue…read more Zero Otto Nove was recommended to us by the owner of Titles Brothers, where I regularly go to buy Italian cold cuts and cheeses. It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. Instead, they took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and every suggestion was delicious. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome. If you're visiting Arthur Avenue and looking for authentic Italian cuisine with outstanding service, Zero Otto Nove is a restaurant I highly recommend. Great food, excellent wine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. We'll definitely be coming back!

We started with the Patate Salsiccia e Provola, and I immediately understood why Italians talk with their hands my mouth was too busy eating to say anything. Crispy potatoes, savory sausage, and gooey provola cheese... comfort food at its finest. For my main course, I had the Pollo Capriccio with a glass of red wine. The chicken was so tender I barely needed a knife, and the wine had me looking around for a Vespa to ride back to the Bronx. The service was fantastic friendly, attentive, and patient enough to let me butcher every Italian word on the menu without judging me. At least not out loud. If this isn't what Italy feels like, don't tell me. I'm happy living in this delicious fantasy. Now excuse me while I search for affordable flights to Rome... or just uback to Arthur Avenue.

The warm bread was soft, fresh, and nicely herby with what tasted like oregano sprinkled on top. Portions were satisfying, flavors were rich without feeling too heavy, and the quality really stood out. We ordered sparkling water and a couple of cocktails. For appetizers we had the Polpettine Di Casa (homemade beef meatballs in pomodoro sauce) and the Portuguese octopus with fava beans, cannellini beans, onions, and apple vinegar dressing. Both were flavorful and well prepared. For entrées we ordered the Pappardelle alla Bolognese with homemade pasta and meat sauce, along with the New Zealand lamb chops over broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. The pasta tasted fresh and authentic, and the lamb was tender and cooked as requested. Unfortunately, the night ended on a disappointing note because of the service. Mario was pleasant, but another server, I believe named Alex, overheard a conversation and became argumentative and sarcastic toward the birthday woman's son. It felt very unprofessional for the setting and completely changed the mood of the dinner, causing everyone to leave earlier than planned. The 93yr old woman was shaking.
