The initial sales person was a classic over-seller and promised the world while simultaneously doing a very surface-level review of the situation, ultimately concluding that we were in need of an indoor water mitigation system and sump pump. The sales process was tortured, over-the-top, and ended with the classic "same-day-only discount" proposal (red flag number 1). The scheduling process and lead-up to the project was radio-silent with no preparation on what to do or what to expect from the project manager or the sales person until I reached out proactively. I had to call the morning the project was set to begin to even know if they were coming or not (red flag number 2). The project itself eventually began and within less than an hour it became obvious the source of the leak was in fact a burst pipe and not ground water coming in through the basement. I called the office and put a stop order on the work at which point they immediately became very cagey about what options were available to me and from this point on once again went radio silent (red flag number 3). Upon reaching out to the office multiple times (via both email and phone) to address the issue and seek at least a partial refund of our deposit for the issue, they took 3+ days to even respond, and when they did, claimed that despite obvious pictures pointing to the pipe being the issue, it could have been ground water at the same time and they were unable to provide any refund of any kind (red flag number 4). I get that I signed a contract. I get that they planned and scheduled the work. I also now have learned an expensive lesson about trusting my gut and being more proactive about my concerns. But they're supposed to be the experts! And the fact that they took absolutely no responsibility for having done a poor assessment of the situation up-front and then pretended like they were actually still right about it was disappointing and embarrassing. I can't in good faith recommend working with this company to anyone.

They finished the job in exactly an hour. We got an invoice 3 days later for $450, with no explanation how that figure was arrived at. When I called, I was told it included travel time. I said their company is a half hour from our house so that made no sense. I asked that the charge be reconsidered. When I called again, I was told they have a 6 hour minimum ($75/hr for 6 hours is $450) for any job. No minimum had been mentioned before. I asked for a manager to call me but have heard nothing. They did good work but we won't use them again.

He's very meticulous, gladly came back out to touch up a couple trouble spots in the drywall (a bad seam I introduced when hanging the sheet!). I'll be using him again in the future - once he's on site he gets right to it. Also gladly answers questions and I already have him generating some quotes for other projects that I may need him to undertake this year.
