The dime sized hole that didn't get filled

I needed cement work and the sales rep sold me on a procedure that they perform that foam gets shot under your existing cement. My fault that I didn't read the contract that states, if any damage is done to my property they take no responsibility for it, at all. I also didn't see any pictures of this work that they performed on another customer. Over $7000 later, I have a large crack in my porch, the spaces in my sidewalk are uneven, there is a hole that wasn't filled, and now my pavement is uneven. The project manager and the owner came to inspect the work that I complained about and they ended up justifying all of it. I asked for at least $1000 off and he gave me $250 off. Let me not leave out that I have 2 ghetto looking cement patches that look absolutely terrible on my porch and the technician that did the work left my flower bed in shambles for 4 weeks. I settled for the pennies off and asked that they come to fill the dime sized hole that was supposed to be filled at the time the work was done. The owner had the audacity to tell me that they will come and fill the dime sized hole that should've been filled, if I promptly take down my negative review on Google. My driveway, sidewalk and porch look like I don't care about the appearance of my home. It's a terrible look. Eventually, I'm going to have to get all of the cement busted up and done over. I am being waaaaay overcharged for patch work that looks like a mess. My fault for not reading my contact and not seeing at least 3-5 pictures of their cement work. I needed new cement not a repair job. It's like breaking a glass and putting it back together with glue. I am so disappointed with the salesman, the technician, the Manager and the owner. This company has no integrity.

Thought it was a urine bottle but ended up being "fabuloso." Saw-saw, dust pan and broom were left behind.

Highly unprofessional workers and salesman oversold and underdelivered. First, the crew did not show up on the scheduled day and weren't courteous enough to inform me of any delays or changes. I had to call Brian (salesman) late in the day to find out why they didn't show up. Brian apologized and said the "demo" team was not available and that he was going to do most of the demo himself, but was not able to make it that day. Rescheduled for a week later. The crew and Brian showed up only to let me know that it would be more work than anticipated and suggested nixing the braces for the anchors. So we did for the same price and much less tearing down. Rescheduled for another week. No real demo was performed only cut out holes for the anchors apparently to save me money, but ended up damaging all of the drywall so now I have to demo the entire wall on my own. I mean seriously, I can't use the old studs because they are now loose from them cutting them. The crew left behind all the trash, a saw-saw, and what appeared to be a urine bottle at first glance (wasn't going to sniff to find out), but ended up being "fabuloso"; damaged part of the adjacent wall; broke my shovel; damaged the gutter's elbow; and finally, clipped the driveway fence knocking down a part of it. Roberto (site manager, I believe) apologized, and amended everything except the fence for which he scheduled a repair for the following week and assured me another contractor would make the repairs. However, NV waterproofing showed up! And to maintain the tone of their business, the fence was tack welded crooked. Yes, tack welded and not spot welded. To finish it off, Bryan (not the salesman) requested help getting the power generator back into their truck because only one person from NV waterproofing was sent to make the fence repairs. I did not call back to have them properly repair the fence cause I am afraid something else will go wrong. This is by far the worst experience ever at a premium price. On the bright side, the Helpdesk was quite professional handling my situation. No complaints there, only praises. In fact, everyone was polite and apologetic. Unfortunately, their product and execution is vile.

My sump pump discharged a significant amount of water, which created ice on the street during the winter and damaged my lawn. I also asked them to address a small uneven area around my sprinkler system. The team explained that they would regrade the area, use my existing soil, and plant grass seed, which I was completely comfortable with. They completed the entire project in just one day. At the end of the day, they sent photos of the finished work to the owner. Although I thought everything looked great, the owner wasn't satisfied with the appearance of the hay covering the newly seeded area. Even though installing sod was outside the original scope of work and would have been a much more expensive solution, he decided to go above and beyond. The very next day, he sent his crew back with fresh topsoil and sod at no additional cost. They added topsoil around my home to improve the grading and ensure water would drain away from the foundation. They even moved my stacked firewood, added topsoil underneath it, and carefully put everything back in place. When they finished, they watered all of the new sod, adjusted my sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage, and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. My yard honestly looks better now than it did before they started. Premium Drainage was not the cheapest quote I received, but they were also not the most expensive. What set them apart was their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for drainage work or landscaping improvements.

He was easy to contact and came to our home to provide a free estimate of our project. I really appreciate that he listened to our ideas but also gave his professional opinion on changes we could do. The process of scheduling to receiving the invoice to then getting the work completed was seamless. We had our driveway changed from asphalt to concrete as well as expanded. We also expanded our patio and added a concrete pathway from the front to the back of the house. Then we had a retaining wall built and had some drainage issues resolved. Lastly, we had flagstones added to the concrete. Adrian and his team not only did a wonderful job but went above and beyond to make our home look beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for work done and plan to use them for future problems!

I'm leaving this review to share a balanced but honest account of my experience. While the end…read moreresult of the project was acceptable, the process was far more complicated and frustrating than it needed to be. The sales interaction set the tone with high‑pressure tactics, including statements like "this price is only available today." We moved forward anyway because we knew we wanted the work done. When I later asked to adjust the scope, the salesperson resisted for nearly ten minutes before agreeing to send a revised contract. The first crew delivered solid work on the drain line and concrete, but the vapor barrier installation was sloppy--uneven trimming, gaps, and inconsistent application. They also removed a board supporting the incoming water line without explanation, leaving it hanging from a wire and damaging the clamp. Their initial attempt to "fix" it involved taping the board to a pipe, which was not a proper or safe solution. The sump pump outlet was also installed in a way that caused the discharge pipe to partially block it, putting pressure on the plug. Communication was another major issue. I was never given a dedicated point of contact. I had to reach out to the salesperson again just to report problems. He forwarded my concerns to the office, and I was eventually contacted by Christal. She was professional and genuinely helpful, but her phone number repeatedly showed as disconnected, and only some text messages went through. I had to call the main line each time and ask to be routed to her. A week later, two crews returned and corrected the vapor barrier, repaired the board, and moved the outlet so it was no longer obstructed. The final work met expectations, but the overall experience involved unnecessary sales pressure, communication challenges, and multiple days off work for corrections and inspections.

My experience with JES Repair was frustrating and ultimately disappointing…read more The project itself was completed on schedule, but the quality and planning of the work left a lot to be desired. The beam repairs appear to have been completed in the easiest way possible, with little consideration for the work that would need to happen afterward. The crew cut the subfloor approximately three inches away from the walls and left it unsupported. As a result, my flooring contractor had to tear out two sections of flooring and replace the entire subfloor in those areas because the necessary repairs were never addressed during the original project. Even more frustrating, JES only opened a limited section of the floor instead of exposing the entire affected area. Once the flooring contractor had everything opened up, additional damaged wood was discovered that now requires even more repairs. Since JES was already working in that area, it is difficult to understand how these issues weren't identified or why the floor wasn't opened far enough to properly inspect the entire section. Addressing everything while the area was already exposed would have saved significant time, cost, and disruption. The inspection process was another major disappointment. The county inspection failed and was rescheduled without anyone from JES informing me ahead of time. I was then told that no one from JES would attend the reinspection and that it was between me and the county. As a homeowner, I'm not a contractor and shouldn't be expected to answer technical questions or represent the company's work to the building inspector. I hired JES expecting professional workmanship, thorough planning, and support through the entire process. Instead, I've been left coordinating additional repairs, paying for work that could have been avoided, and handling inspection issues that should have been managed by the contractor. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend JES Repair. UPDATE (07/08/2026): I connected with the resolution team and are working through the issues in a positive and constructive manner.

He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work. I felt compelled to pay him extra. Deck Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELQYf0YGKY
