The three person crew steady taking orders and making them, performing very well together, no delays in getting the order done. I believe all the sub are 8", check to be sure. I got a Cuban sandwich with chips and a drink. The bread is fantastic, the sub was delicious, toasted in a panini press. But my issue was the pulled pork was not warm and the cheese was not fully melted. I'm thinking they might want to warm the pulled pork up then put it in the sub then put it in the panini press otherwise you end up with a cold middle. The country of Cuba is not cold in the middle, nor should the sandwich named for the country. This one issue would not stop me from going back, it's just a small issue they need to work on to go from a good Cuban sandwich to a Fantastic one.

My husband had the Calandrello Sub, which was packed with meats. The fresh French bread was delicious and there were plenty of toppings. Five star sub. I ordered the Tender Greens salad, as I was trying to eat healthy. The salad was more like a small side salad rather than the dinner salad that I was expecting. The fresh greens and cucumber were ok but the tomato was a little old and any bacon was microscopic. The salad was underwhelming. Three stars at best. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service is quick, even when they are busy. Order a sub.

The cafe is located in the converted historic ROM Webber furniture factory. The Big Four cafe name honors the railroad line that used to pass through town. Courtney, our server, was friendly and attentive. She kept water filled and checked on us frequently. Food came out quickly. I had the Herb and Garlic Chopped salad, which was beautifully plated, fresh and delicious. Romaine, tomatoes, onions were topped with cheese and avocado. The garlicky vinaigrette dressing was tangy. I I also had a cup of the Texas Chili, which was topped with cheese and jalapeño slices. The beef was tender and the soup base slightly spicy. My husband had the Cuban Press (at Courtney's recommendation) and it was tasty and hearty. The sandwich was made using Indiana ham, slowed cooked pork and melted cheese. He said his sandwich was an easy 5 stars. Don't miss the beer battered onion rings which are fresh made and delicious. (I stole a couple of his rings.) There are roomy restrooms with changing tables. Free parking is available in front of the building. Worth a visit.

I noticed the good reviews so we drove an extra 10 minutes which turned out to be a worthwhile decision. Excellent spot for breakfast and the full dining area supports my opinion. Definitely a two thumbs up experience and worth a drive!

Oh well. My coffee money went to Scooter's. I just got a black coffee from the drive-thru. Scooter's has a drive-thru! The whole transaction, from pulling up to the drive-thru kiosk to ordering to receiving my coffee, was seamless and fast. The people who work here who I encountered were very friendly, too. Scooter's has a large menu of coffee drinks. In fact, there are more coffee-like drinks than there are just regular coffee. They have things like Cinnamon Toast Crunch lattes, green leprechaun shakes, smoothies, and even energy drinks. They also have pup cups (of what looks like whipped cream) for dogs. I didn't want any of that, but if you're in the mood to drink all of your calories for the day, this place will help you out with that. The coffee was good, the service was quick, and best of all, they were open.

Some of the booths are German style, giving you a European feel. Madison, our server, was friendly and attentive. The servers know the regulars by name and welcome them warmly. We sat in a booth near the kitchen and could hear a lot of laughter coming from the cooks in the back. The place is jovial. We ordered the Chicken Dinner for Two ($32) which includes about 10 pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and choice of salad or slaw. This was a massive amount of food and could easily feed a family of four. The coleslaw was delicious, the best I've had in a while. The slaw was creamy and tart (not too sweet). The hand-breaded chicken is a winner in my book. The breading is crispy with lots of seasoning, especially pepper. The chicken is hot, moist and tender - perfectly cooked. This is some of the best fried chicken in the State. The potatoes and gravy are an indulgent treat for me. Yes, I had seconds. The green beans are cooked with bacon, yet light. My husband really liked the beans. We took half the meal home for dinner. The menu is German- themed, combined with traditional Hoosier classics. The Tenderlojn sandwich they serve put them on Indiana's Tenderloin Trail. I wanted to try the sauerkraut balls and pretzels, but I was too full. There is free street parking. There are tv monitors to watch the games at the small ball. Brau Haus is totally worth a visit.
