I was still in the mood for pizza, but wasn't wanting it badly enough to drive for it. I downloaded the app and decided to order Domino's for the first time in years. I don't know if the pizza has changed or if I just got lucky, but the Brooklyn Style I ordered was delicious. They cooked it just as I asked, well-done, and it was the best "fast food" pizza I can remember having. I'm not a stickler for delivery times, but I did look at the app and it seemed to do a very good job at showing me the status of my order. Ordered contactless delivery online. When the driver delivered the pizza he never bothered to knock or ring the bell (or otherwise let me know my pizza had arrived). When I finally decided to check after quite some time had passed, I was disappointed to see my pizza sitting on my doorstep, cold as ice. Hard to say how long it had been sitting outside, but at just over 40 degrees, it doesn't take long to make a pizza get cold. Called the store and they acted irritated with me, saying I ordered "contactless". When I pointed out that I still need to be notified when my pie arrived, I was told that I should be watching my tracker. So I guess if you want to order a pizza from here, you need to sit in front of your computer watching for updates, because they sure as hell won't let you know when they dump your pizza at your front door on a cold day. Domino's has improved their quality of pizza. I have been there a few times and without a doubt enjoyed my experience. The staff is friendly and professional. They recently opened the location on Dupont around August 2016. Domino's has great carry out specials. Their pizza tastes great and I have not been let down yet. They also have wonderful wings and different types of breads. The inside is clean and gives the customer an opportunity to see the staff members make the food. There is a small seating area if you plan on eating in. I would recommend to try this one out. read more

Ok. So I had read the reviews for this Dominos location but I really wanted pizza tonight. I have been ordering from other Dominos locations for several years now because the pizza is much better than it once was and most importantly they have a very good gluten free crust. The good news: the order was taken and prepared quickly and the pizza looked nothing like the terrible mess someone else had on their review. I checked the pizzas before I left the store. Ordered one with ham and pineapple, the other with sausage mushrooms double pepperoni and double cheese. I did not see double cheese on the pizza and pointed it out to the clerk. I asked if this was double cheese and opened up the other box so the clerk could compare as well. He just said "should be" and left. I am posting a picture here so you can compare for yourself. Dominos manager, this was a real missed opportunity by your staff. I paid over $30 for two small pizzas. Don't skimp! Otherwise the pizzas were tasty and well baked/ not burned. read more

I went here on a whim when I saw a commercial for $5.99 pizzas and side dishes. It looked so good and just what I was craving. I usually order pizza from another amazing pizza company y but since I have never tried dominos I thought "hey what the heck!" I was wrong. Very very wrong. I placed my order online. I set the time for the future and arrived 13' late from the pick up time but 3' of that was trying to figure out where the drive through window was. My order was ready and immediately I noticed the boxes weren't warm or hot. Uh-oh. Employee was cordial but not overly friendly or polite. I'm just a few minutes from home and I'm excited. I ordered two pizzas and a chicken club. We all dish out what we want and I grab a slice and half the sub. All was COLD!! Plus my sub was missing the inside on half the bun. It was over toasted and burnt on the end. The bread was hard as a rock and it wasn't worth eating. I threw it out. I heated the pizza slice up and the crust was a rock and the toppings weren't burnt and to crisp to be edible. Everyone threw out the pizza they had on their plate and the entire order went into the trash. I'm really upset. I call the store immediately and explained the issue. The employee said to me "you were late picking up your order so it wasn't warm or fresh!". Really? Really? The usually place I get our pizzas are always hot and fresh if I'm a little late. Don't they have warming ovens? Remember the boxes weren't even warm! And that's what I said to him in reply. I asked for a refund and after much debate he finally agreed to return my order and refund my money. I'm sorry but I'm nit throwing out $22 worth of my money cause your product is crappy. Check your pizza before you tip the delivery person. Mine slid and folded over on itself, the toppings were on the bottom of the box lid. I called and let them know. Due to time I couldn't take the new pizza I was offered, but nothing else was done. I was contacted by phone by a Shawnee and she left me a voicemail at 2 PM on Monday, 5/1. I work during the day. I returned her call on Tuesday May 2nd, Told the guy who I was and why I was calling. Shaunee and her other manager Ryan were out. He told me he'd check with the manager on duty. I figure they'd get on the phone. Nope, was just told Ryan would be in the next day. I decided that I wasn't jumping through hoops, so I called the corporate customer care line. They informed me this was a franchised store, and they would have the franchise office give me a call. Here it is 3 days later and I haven't heard anything. I haven't had Dominos in years but my last memory is favorable - the Philly cheesesteak. It's from maybe 10 years ago, in a different state. I loved it. This pizza, ordered for carry-out - GROSS. We ordered a Brooklyn-style pepperoni and double mushroom. There were maybe two slices of mushroom MAX on each piece. In my opinion that's barely REGULAR mushrooms, and not at ALL double mushrooms. The worst parts were that the pizza crust was WET in the middle, and the cheese had sort of a grainy texture. And we knew better but somehow ended up deciding on Dominos. It was about 15 minutes later then the app said so we called to see what the hold up was, they told us they got 2 big orders right before us. 15 minutes later when our pizza finally showed up and it was cold. So to review the pizza took over an hour after ordering (half hour longer the their app said) to get here. The manger gave us the laziest of all excuses and the pizza was cold. I'm very disappointed in the service they provided on feb. 24 2019 my girlfriend and I went in to just order and sit and wait we were in no rush bc of the wind and weather! When we first walked up both doors had a sign on them to use the other door, which made no sense! One door was locked and the other door had a curtain hanging on it with a ladder in front of it but it was unlocked, so we went in, I should say we struggled to get thro the door while both workers just looked at us! We finally get in and wait... and wait... I'm talking atleast 7 mins and these employees didn't say one word! My girlfriend continued to ask excuse me and they just kept there head down! Ok...so COVID and we're doing the best we can. Whatever! I ordered on line and inadvertently sent my hubby to Cook who said there was no order for us. I had hubby call Dupont to see if it was there, they confirmed it was. He returned home with 2 pizzas they weren't ours which he paid for. I paid on line when I ordered 2 pizzas, 2 sandwiches, 2 cheesy breeds, 4 drinks and 10 dipping sauces! Hubby was irritated and not trekking back out, I was irritated and went out! This Dominos just opened in August 2016. We visited on a Friday evening for the first time and found the location packed and very busy preparing orders. We placed an order at the counter for a large thin crust and cheese stuffed bread. The inside of the location has two 2 person tables and a few high top seats along the glass where your pizza is prepared. A set of steps to the right allow little visitors to get a peek at the staff busily prepping the food. I think Dominos referred to it as "pizza theater". Our walk in order wait time was just over 20 minutes. Since they've just opened and they were slammed I think they did a pretty good job. The staff was friendly and apologetic for the wait time. As for the food taste and quality, this was our first dominos in about 7 or 8 years. It was okay and about what I'd come to expect if dominos. Fast, cheap pizza with fair quality. Might try them again after they've settled in from a new opening. read more

Very disappointed with @dominos on Dupont Road. Ordered a pizza, online, last evening at 7:45, that was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later to use the drive through. A car in front of me picked up and drove off. I pull up to the window, and 5 minutes later, no one had come back to the window. So I backed up, and pull forward, again, giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they didn't realize that anyone was there. A minute later, still no one. So I pull forward, get out of the car, and enter the store. The cashier eventually asks me for a name, pulls the order up, but never says anything to me. Then another employee comes over to her and tells her to tell me that it will be 30 minutes. So I say, "It's already been 20, so I guess I can wait another 10.", all the while keeping my calm. To which he replies, "No, it will be 30 minutes from now. I haven't started making it yet." At that point, I was about to lose it. Seeing this, his response was, "you must have ordered it online. The system doesn't know that we are short staffed. Next time, call your order in if you are in a hurry." There was no way that I was going to wait another half hour at that point. And to top it off, they weren't even the least bit apologetic about it. Such an awful experience! The Coliseum Blvd. location, and New Haven as well, have never been anything but a positive experience. This was the first time at the Dupont location, and very likely the last for the foreseeable future. Although, if this is a trend, this location will be gone in the near future. #dominos read more

Gross, absolutely disgusting. Walked in at 8pm and the cashier was not happy about it at all. We ordered and when we were watching it being made I wanted to throw up. The guy didn't wear gloves or wash his hands while making out pizza and we watched him scratch his hair and grab his phone while making our pizza then return to kneading put the dough. They had old cheese everywhere and left their bins of marinara and pepperoni out to get warm. When our order was ready they didn't say the order name or tell us it was ready instead we had to walk up and ask her if those were ours and she said oh yeah take them and left us to sort through whose was who's. We ordered stuffed cheesy bread and it wasn't cooked at all. There was literally raw dough and cold cheese inside. NEVER eating at dominos again. The "tracker" told me my order was out of the oven at 611p. Still no update or pizza by 650p. Called the store and was on hold for 5-7 minutes. Asked status of order and was put on hold for a "manager". Asked status again and she looked up my order. Said it would be out for delivery in 15min. Was told 38-48 min and it had been 6min at this time. Asked why since when I ordered online - like I always do - it said 38-48. She told me that the system has nothing to do with them and doesn't keep up with store time. Asked if my order had been out of the oven for over 30min since tracker stated so and she again said tracker has nothing to do with them. I asked what the point was then and no response. I cancelled my order and went elsewhere. I've been ordering for over 2yrs from you and will never do it again and plan on letting everyone know of this horrible service. You might want to hire people who actually want to do their jobs. We will be sticking with Pizza Hut going forward. read more

Have you ever worked for a company that literally makes you sick to your stomach? Not just like I don't feel good and wanna go home, but the kind of sick that you know is coming from a lack of competence? They hire people under false pretense, their management is completely unhappy and under qualified, and have every excuse under the sun as to why things aren't getting any better. Even went to the GM and assistants saying was willing to do whatever it takes to make this a better place to work and a more profitable position. Was told to hang on. Never heard anything back and things have only gotten worse. Makes it very apparent no one really cares. Management breaks corporate rules as far as taking care of unsatisfied customers. Also break rules about having drivers on the road that are not supposed to be. Even though they have been told not to. Yet with just these shinning examples they can't figure out why business isn't what it should be. read more
