They typically have a line, which speaks to how great the food is! You are always greeted with a smile and they are able to get you your food in a jiffy. A few of my favorites from the menu include the catfish po'boy and the jambalaya. The food is always fresh and has great flavor. The restaurant was clean and even the self serve sauce/spice station was well kept. The service here is outstanding. Our counter worker was very pleasant and helpful since we had never been before. He explained how to order and also let us know that we were free to sample any of the étouffés before we decided on anything. I tasted the Allexio and the Drunken. The Allexio was a bit too creamy for lunch time IMO, but the Drunken was really nice. All of the flavors were well balanced in both and unique. I liked that there was an option for white or brown rice! Two scoops of étouffé is included in your meal over rice, and I found it to be just the right amount to be satisfied without feeling overly full. I opted for the side of Cajun bread as it was highly recommended by the staff. My lunch partner really enjoyed it, but I personally would opt for chips next time. It had a strong artificial butter flavor to it (it is made with a butter substitute) that tasted like movie theatre butter and was quite oily. They also offer a cole slaw, but that just isn't my jam in general. I do wish they had dish service instead of the Styrofoam containers or at least offered it on paper plates/bowls to be a little more environmentally friendly, but overall I was pretty impressed!
