10/10 great experience! I got the #1 - Slider and Loaded Fries and my gosh it was so good. The slider was probably larger than a JR Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendys and the Fries were topped with chicken, cheese, and special sauce. My husband got the tenders and fries and he loved it! He kept say he loves that it has heat and a great flavor. Recommend ordering ahead because it is fresh!

I stopped in for lunch today with a coworker and am so glad I did! The ambiance is fast casual with some cute NOLA décor. The restaurant was clean and even the self serve sauce/spice station was well kept. The service here is outstanding. Our counter worker was very pleasant and helpful since we had never been before. He explained how to order and also let us know that we were free to sample any of the étouffés before we decided on anything. I tasted the Allexio and the Drunken. The Allexio was a bit too creamy for lunch time IMO, but the Drunken was really nice. All of the flavors were well balanced in both and unique. I liked that there was an option for white or brown rice! Two scoops of étouffé is included in your meal over rice, and I found it to be just the right amount to be satisfied without feeling overly full. I opted for the side of Cajun bread as it was highly recommended by the staff. My lunch partner really enjoyed it, but I personally would opt for chips next time. It had a strong artificial butter flavor to it (it is made with a butter substitute) that tasted like movie theatre butter and was quite oily. They also offer a cole slaw, but that just isn't my jam in general. I do wish they had dish service instead of the Styrofoam containers or at least offered it on paper plates/bowls to be a little more environmentally friendly, but overall I was pretty impressed! I truly feel it is more of a 4.5 rating, but I'm rounding up in my review.

Service was incredible as usual (free samples & nice workers who always seem to be in a great mood), but now they offer white AND brown rice, as well as toppings! I branched out and tried the jambalaya and chipotle alexio this time, both of which were incredible. The jambalaya does pack some heat so beware. And if you're on the fence, always order extra Cajun bread and thank me later.

Place located next to Goodwill in an empty shopping area with plenty of parking space. Inside, they have big dining area. Almost like used to be a asian buffet or bar dining restaurant. I asked the waiter before ordering. If the Lobster bisque soup using real lobster or not. He said yes. When it came out, all I can taste was "lobster/fish stick" - surimi. The soup also tastes burn and found the clumped powder at the bottom. The fish and shrimp are completely tasteless. Saw other people reviewed. Not even salty, seasoning or taste anything at all. Bland. Same with fries. Only taste the cajun seasoning on top. I was hungry but lost my appetite from all the food. Most people order the steamed mixed cajun in a bag. They might have taste with all the mixed seasoning. Hopefully they can improve next time.

I was hoping I'd find a good place to get fries and seafood, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality at Wild Crab. The restaurant was moderately empty on a Sunday, with some light pop song remixes playing in the background. It was a large area that felt very clean and well-taken care of. Despite there only being one server, we were attended to fairly quickly and we were always checked on periodically to make sure everything was okay! My boyfriend and I ordered a shrimp/calamari basket, lobster bisque, and a fish po' boy. Everything was hot and fresh, and the cajun fries especially had a nice crunch and flavor. I think the po' boy could have used more sauce, and I consider it the weakest of what we got flavor-wise. Surprisingly, the bisque was really, really good! I'm not usually a fan of it, but this is probably one of the few places that make it in a way I love - it was creamy, savory, and a good amount. We'll come back when we have another seafood craving!

As a seafood lover, I was sold just based on the name alone The building itself is pretty cool. We were told it dates back to the 1880s and is the 2nd oldest building in Indiana behind some other one in Indianapolis. You can definitely feel the history when you walk in. The place is small, with only about 14 tables, and everything is packed in pretty tight, but that's part of what gives it character. The old bar immediately grabbed my attention and looked like it hadn't changed much in over a century We started with the Parmesan baked oysters, which were outstanding and surprisingly fresh for being in the Midwest The homemade clam chowder was loaded with clams and flavor. It was so good it didn't need anything added to it. We also ordered a couple of smoked Old Fashioneds that were a great way to start the night I wanted sea bass, but they were out, so I went with the walleye fish and chips. It's honestly hard for me to pass up fish and chips when they're on a menu, I'm glad I did. The fish was well-seasoned and on point My wife went with a seafood combo that included seafood au gratin, bay scallops, shrimp, crab, applewood bacon risotto, and baked in a lobster creamy sauce Being in Fort Wayne for just one night, this ended up being a great find. The food was excellent, the service was friendly (Shoutout Lindsay) and the whole place had a nostalgic feel that made the experience even better If you're passing through and in the mood for seafood or live locally, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

These were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness! The seasoning was amazing! Very delicious. The only issue was the one long strand of hair on the edge of my plate. I spoke to the server about it to make sure better care is taken in food prep in the kitchen. She said she'd talk to the manager. Husband received a free birthday dessert. He chose the warm carrot cake drizzled with caramel and walnuts with cinnamon ice cream. It was moist and so delicious. The birthday candle was a nice added bonus. Will definitely be back!
