Meat Lovers with Olives and Banana Peppers
    Allie B.

The pizza was hot and delicious! They had a wonderful online coupon that made the pizza extremely cheap which was a perk. Make sure you check coupon books and/or online since they typically have coupons available! We ordered a Meat Lovers and added olives and banana peppers. DELISH. We threw on some cheese bread, and again...DELISH. I'd take Marcos over a lot of other pizza places. The staff was friendly when I went to pick it up. She asked how my day was going, which I thought was very kind, considering they were pretty busy that day. Did not dine inside, but the place looked clean.

We haven't had Marco's pizza in awhile. Today we decided to have them . Guy on the phone was Michael. He was very nice and a joy to talk to. I had to call him back because we weren't sure if they still delivered yp our area. Just like J.Johns been here dozens of times, but noooo not now. But, hey yeah they still deliver here. Thank You Marco's !! Great !! Ordered a medium gr.beef, green pepper, and red onion for Husband. I got a small pepperoni and sausage pizza. We also ordered a large Greek salad to share. That salad was very crispy and so fresh. Not one piece of brown lettuce. THANK YOU for that. And HUGE !! The pizzas were cooked perfect. Both of them browned to perfection. Very good late lunch and leftovers for a late night snack if need be. I believe the delivery guy was the same guy I spoke to when I ordered. He said 30-45 minutes and that was perfect. We didn't wait 1hour and 30 minutes like pizza hut and got cold pizza we had to put back in oven. We don't mind that time when you are busy, but don't lie about it AND bring us cold food. We will definitely order from them again. Oh and. TIP YOUR DELIVERY GUY WELL !!

I've been eating at this restaurant for more than 35 years. This wasn't just another place to grab…read morea meal--it was one of my favorite restaurants and a place I recommended to friends and family without hesitation. That's what makes its decline so frustrating to watch. For what feels like a year or so now, every problem is met with the same explanation: "Sorry, it's a new person in the kitchen." At some point, that excuse stops being believable. Constant turnover isn't bad luck--it's a sign that something is fundamentally wrong. The food quality has become wildly inconsistent. On my latest visit, the fries were so undercooked that some were essentially raw potatoes. The boneless wings were dry and overcooked to the point of being tough. The bone-in wings were questionable enough that I lost my appetite. The best word I can use to describe the meal is simply: ick. The servers deserve better. They work hard, stay professional, and often seem stuck apologizing for problems they didn't create. What concerns me most is the management. On multiple visits, I've watched the manager Josh speak down to employees in a way that no customer should be hearing and no employee should have to endure. I've seen staff members visibly upset and even reduced to tears. When customers can hear employees being talked down to, there is a leadership problem. The owner needs to pay attention. When employees leave, new kitchen staff constantly rotate through, customers hear the same excuses over and over, and food that was once consistently excellent becomes a gamble, the problem isn't the newest person in the kitchen. The problem is the culture being created by management. After 35+ years as a loyal customer, this is not a review I ever expected to write. What was once one of the most reliable restaurants in town now feels like a business surviving on its reputation while quality, morale, and standards continue to decline. The saddest part is that I remember how good this place used to be.

I put my order online and it was ready within five minutes. I should've listened to the other reviewers and checked my bag. First of all the nacho was supposed to have cheese on the side. The bartender was kind and polite and quick with the service. There were only about three or four tables with people, let them during the course of my time. A few other folks came and sat at the bar. I heard it a side salad with salmon and it came out to me pretty quickly. The flavor was delicious, the salmon, well cooked, and the apple vinaigrette dressing on the salad was delightful. The biggest challenge, was a table with a few children sitting at it. This is no fault of the restaurant, and really, not even the result of my four-star rating. This is merely a statement: if your children are misbehaving and screaming and banging things on the table while other people are trying to eat their dinner, then perhaps the best option is to remove the children from the restaurant. It's always surprising to me when parents are selfish and subject everyone else in the vicinity around them to the poor behavior of their children. As a parent myself, I would never do that to other people. When you go out to a nice restaurant, you want to relax and enjoy the time not listen to tantrums from a three year old. Even the bartender in the servers were frustrated with this table. Some people even walked out after sitting down when they realize that unbelievable noise is coming from one table. Ok, soapbox time is over. Support the summit grill kitchen.

Summit Grill Kitchen & Cocktails - jumbo onion rings and supreme pizza…read more I love onion rings so I had to try the "jumbo onion rings" on the appetizer menu. It was the least expensive appetizer option at $12...and the "jumbo" sounded attractive. So why not? The rings are "jumbo"-lly bigger than most others offer. The ring is made from a large onion. The onion piece was rather thin. I was expecting a "thicker" piece - perhaps two layers thick given the size of the ring. The onion was sweeter and mild. The batter was very thin, flakey and a touch oily. It has a nice seasoning to go along with the chipotle sauce. Definitely worth a try if you like onion rings. The crust is a hand tossed style and baked to a soft crispy crust. It has a slightly sweet flavor with a mild flour taste. The sauce was not very prominent to the flavor - mild tomato sauce taste. The sauce was hidden by the pile of fresh toppings. There was a nice amount of delicious mozzarella cheese to hold the toppings together and give it a moist pizza flavor. Cold Pizza Test - the pizza was still soft and moist 24 hours later. It seems like the ingredients "marinated" and enhance the Italian flavors. The mozzarella cheese flavors tended to "pop" more. Delicious cold pizza! Overall a pizza. Dinning in is a nice experience. Beautiful facility. Casual and relaxed...though it's pretty loud. Professional and friendly service.

Today we decided to order from the wing experience as we recently moved to the Fort Wayne area and we are looking for our new goto wing spot! I seriously regret that decision. Coyote Creek Bar & Grill (Hillegas Road) - pizza and a patio with a view!…read more We love to dine at the Coyote Creek's patio on a summer's evening. It's a covered patio and over looks the 18th hole (see picture). The cover blocks the sun and allows a cool relaxing breeze to flow in. Very nice! This was actually the first time I have ever tried their pizza. I've been here with others who have ordered pizza and liked it. I was always reluctant to try it because they appear to over cook the crust often. Definitely not this time though! I have included the regular pizza menu. They only have about five specialty pizzas to pick from. Their 16 inch selections will generally run you about $20. On this occasion...the special of the month was a cheeseburger pizza. It sounded good so I gave it a try! The cheeseburger pizza crust was very light and soft with a slightly baked crisp. It has a bit of a floury taste. The inside tended to mimic a biscuit flavor and texture. I liked it. No buttery coating or seasoning. Just some stray cheese pieces. I can't describe their normal tomato based pizza sauce. This pizza came with "special sauce" to accent a cheeseburger flavor. The sauce was light, thin and didn't dominate the taste. I found out they use their homemade 1000 Island dressing for the sauce. It did mimic a McDonald's Big Mac special sauce - just not as zingy. I was concerned that the sauce would grow old fast as I worked on 16 inches of pizza. It did not as it wasn't very strong tasting. There wasn't a lot of ground beef to dominate the taste. There was plenty of mozzarella cheese and some cheddar cheese accents. This gave it a nice gooey pull apart string. The dill pickles were very thin and mild in dill taste. Cold Pizza Test - the crust got only a little tougher while the biscuit flavor stepped forward. It was still moist to taste and easy to pick up and eat/chew. The special sauce and onions also started to come out more as it seemed to marinate a bit more. The rest of the toppings and cheese kind of fell flat in taste when cold. I liked the cold cheeseburger pizza option too! Overall...I loved the view and was glad I tried the cheeseburger pizza.

The Clyde Room at The Clyde (Bluffton Road) - is it a flatbread, pizza or really flatbread?…read more The menu says it's a flatbread. They have six of them on the menu (see menu). If you come in on Tuesday's you can get anyone one of these selections for just $12. However, the delicious tasting flatbread looks like a pizza and tastes as delicious as a pizza (see pictures)! So...you decide... Grok says there isn't a distinct line between a pizza and a flatbread. Flatbreads tend to be more of a modern marketing thing. Here are the core practical differences: -Flatbread: made of an unleavened yeast; dense, thin, flat; bread baked without toppings, toppings added later; rectangle or oval in shape -Pizza: yeast based dough; lighter, puffier edge, chewier; dough and toppings baked at the same time as the bread thus depressing the center; typically round in shape Regardless of whether The Clyde's offering is really a flatbread or a pizza...it was delicious! The Godfather choice is very salty. That comes from the mix of meats, banana peppers and green olives. The marinara sauce is a little spicy but not applied thick enough to bring that taste forward. The crust is a bit thicker than on the thin side...and more crispy. The garlic aioli sauce adds another moist flavor to tone down the salty taste - a little. The chicken bacon ranch flatbread tasted more like a traditional pizza offering. The crust was a little thicker than just a thin crust. It had a bit of crisp. The chicken was nicely grilled, tender and flavorful. The bacon, red pepper and ranch sauces blend nicely such that none of the individual flavors pop out at you. Outside the flat bread versus pizza issue...our service was very good. We had a trainee and trainer. They worked well to serve us well! The facility is large and can accommodate large groups well.
