Hand tossed buffalo chicken pizza

This location does not disappoint! It has improved so much over the last year! The pizza is always fresh and for some reason tastes delicious honestly not a bad dominos if you're craving something cheap and quick and good quality. Just be warned wait times during busy seasons can be super super long and the approximate wait times the app gives are way off but that's because it is a resort town and they get hundreds of orders at once so just be patient they're doing a great job!

Parmesan stuffed crusty pizza

The pizza was really good. It looked great and flavor was so delicious. The staff were very kind and helpful. Great deals online and quick service. Wings were good too! Place was clean and nice.

Up here for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to get pizza outside of the craziness. Ordered our usual via online and picked it up 15 mins later. The pizzas were perfectly done and piping hot....zero complaints! Pizzas were delicious and done just right.

Literally the WORST experience I have ever had at a food place. Placed my order at 6 pm and was told multiple times it would take 15 minutes to arrive after waiting almost two hours. Spoke on the phone with a man who told me I would get a refund and called back 30 minutes later only to be told he had been sent home for not knowing what to do. Called back again for the third time to be told that my order had been delivered. Finally lost my patience at 9 pm and called again only to be told that they didn't know what had happened to my order. Eventually had to drive to the store to pick it up and couldn't even get an actual refund receipt. And it also took ANOTHER 30 minutes to finally get it because the oven had apparently broken. The store was full of employees that were just standing around and clearly didn't know what they were doing. One girl was standing at the register telling customers that she had just gotten there and didn't know what was going on. Another guy was loudly saying he didn't want to answer the phone whenever it would ring. And there was customer after customer coming in regarding issues about their order. Absolutely horrible experience, wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemy.

Team of people to handle the holiday crowd!

Very polite young man named Xander working at the extremely busy Big Bear Domino's made it okay to wait a little longer for our pizza.

The staff was attentive, the food was warm, and they were quick. I ordered through the app and my order was perfect.

My boys had bacon burgers, and I ordered the chicken, pulled pork, and cheddar jalapeño sausages. It was all really good. The Mac N Cheese and Coleslaw were very tasty too. We were all very happy with our food. Picnic bench, patio seating only. My only complaint would be finding it was a little tricky. No signs out front on the building. But park at the ELKS Lodge and walk around back. Very friendly cashier. You won't regret it.

You're fine, its also for patrons of the Cookshak. Next follow along around the side of the lodge into the backyard area and you'll come across a concrete patio w benches and tables. Order from the window and take your food to eat out on the back patio. The menu is different from what you can find on these Yelp menu photos so expect the prices to be a lot higher than two years ago, but prices are way higher everywhere from two years ago. I ordered a one item plate w two sides thinking I might not have ordered enough food but boy was I wrong. The sides portions are huge, the cornbread is huge, and the meat filled me up. The beans here are a spicy chili bean type that went great on top of the corn bread. The slaw was very good and the mac n cheese was reminiscent of kraft mac n cheese only w/ the addition of pepper and a sharper cheese flavor giving it a memorable taste. The potato salad was decent, potatoes prolly coulda been cooked a tiny bit longer but the rest of the salad tasted good. The star of the show was the brisket. You will get a slice or two near the end that might be cooked thru a little too much for my liking but the majority of what you get is melt in your mouth deliciousness. The honey mustard sauce they offer is perfect to dip the well done slices in but the juicy slices go great unassisted. I originally picked this spot because the other popular bbq spot nearby didn't open until 3 but I am glad I picked this spot because the food left me satisfied for the rest of the day and left me w a smile on my face afterwards.

Starting with the negative as to why it's not a 5 star review:…read more The decor on the inside and the theme is very very busy. It kinda seems like an entire hobby lobby was purchased and put into the restaurant. 3/5 design The salad was not anything special. It was good lettuce but just that, some croutons, and dressing of choice. 3/5 salad When we got there, no one came to greet us and we were waiting in the main entrance area for about a good 10 Minutes while I saw what looked like all the staff members on the left side of the restaurant hanging out and joking around. Once I went over to say that I was there, the server was attentive and polite. 3/5 service I felt the price was too high. For 2 meals and water we ended up paying around $50. I would have been more pleased with around 35-40. 3/5 price The good: The portions are really great. I love to have big portions and this place did not disappoint. The food was better tasting than expected: I was nervous with such a giant place and only 2 other parties were there. However, I really enjoyed my chicken Parmesan and my wife's nachos were good with a good amount of cheese. I would come back but not every time I visit big bear on vacation. Maybe like every 3rd visit.

We had read all the the reviews that said service was quite slow, so we were prepared for that…read more Turns out that was only part of the problem. Service started with 2 glasses of tepid water. Not even cool water, and not an ice cube to be found. After finally ordering and waiting quite awhile we were told the dish we ordered was "not available" today. Ok. Then the table next to us was told - no pizza or garlic breads tonight. A third table was told they weren't carrying one of the deserts they ordered. Mind boggling on a Saturday night. We replaced my husband's dish with a chef salad. It came out looking like they had dropped the plate. (I'm sure they didn't, but it was a mess.) As he started to mix the salad, he discovered it was sitting in a puddle of water. Literally, standing water. We almost walked out at that point. My soup was delicious, and the Asian sampler was pretty good so we stayed and ate those. The final straw was a 4% charge to use a credit card!!!!! Yes, they soften the blow by offering a 10% discount for cash, but if you don't know that going in! Anyway, we won't be back and cannot in good conscience recommend the restaurant.

When in a sleepy mountain town, you never expect to find a fabulous place like this. Quality, well prepared and properly presented with reasonably priced menu. I have eaten some of the best family run small Italian places throughout Orange county and this one rivals all of those. It is absolutely a go-to destination for a proper meal made with love. All with fresh ingredients and presented properly, generous portions served by a small family oriented staff the owner Allison is charming smart and knows true value of quality food and ingredients. After some fabulous conversation we came to understand that she has a great knowledge of food and preparation don't ask her to speak Italian but she will talk to you in French if you like! Do not miss chance to be part of something that is bigger than being on the mountain. Cheers to the Sweet Basil bistro family.

It is downstairs underneath the bowling alley and you may need to wait on the weekend but it is worth it!!! So going back again and again.
