    Chubby Subby

I brought my 4 year old here for a slice of pizza & fries. The employee helping us recommended the chubby subby for myself. Such a yummy sandwich! I recommend asking for yellow peppers

Was out here for business and decided to pop in for some pizza. Pizza dough was not cooked all the way, and there was hardly any cheese. Service was ok. At least you have beautiful views.

A long way to go from LA South Bay for delicious pizza but our go to when headed into the mountains! Always the best and friendliest service here. Love sitting outside when here in the summer looking out over the lake. Pizza is always perfect thin crust and right flavors

Every time we take a visit to big Bear, we end up coming here because the kids love it. The arcade games, the big pizza to share. I love the pastrami sandwich and they're delicious fries.. obviously you can't go wrong with the picture of beer as well. The ambience is fun and you have a beautiful view of the lake. Everyone here is very friendly and I've never had bad service here.. I definitely recommend it

On Saturday afternoon, I enjoyed a slice of cheese pizza on the patio. Good outdoor weather! They charge a 3% credit card surcharge

While doing some shopping in the Lake Arrowhead Village, we stopped in for some pizza. We ordered a small cheese pizza, which has 6 slices. The cheese was a blend of cheeses and the sauce was nice and thin. Fresh out of the oven pizza was delicious while enjoying the view of the lake and village.

Outside seating area has a great view and breeze. There's plenty of seating for large groups. Order at the counter then seat yourself. The cheese pizza is the best.

We had a large gathering of family visiting for the weekend and thought we'd try Lake Arrowhead Pizza/Deli for the first time to feed our hungry group. We ordered take out, and brought the kids to explore it. We were super impressed with the multiple patio spots to eat, with epic views of the lake. The side patio had a charming camper that may serve drinks or desserts, but it was not in operation when we were there. The interior was very 'mountain-y' with local vibes and lots of sports TV's and memorabilia. Our 3 basic large pizzas cost over $70, which seemed high but we were OK with that as we expected a high end style of pizza. We get them back to the house and they are cold and very skimpy on the cheese and pizza sauce with a thin, dry crust. In truth, they were the worst pizza I've had for decades but the kids liked them. Three stars for the ambience.

Great pizza with a great view. Loved the amount of toppings and the thinner crust. Family of 4 and there was no pizza left. There are also arcade games and plenty of interior places to sit and watch tv.

For eight adults, we got two large pizzas and a family style salad. There were 4-5 slices leftover, so I'd say their portion sizes are pretty good. I recommend getting The Works and Meat Lovers pizza. They were both really good. The Chef's salad was also very delicious. It was a generous portion of meats (salami, turkey, and ham) for a salad. We asked for ranch dressing on the side, and they happily obliged. The pizzeria is located on the fourth floor. There is plenty of parking shared with CVS and Stater Bros. You can even park in the structure and go up the stairs/elevator to the fourth floor. You will see the Lake Arrowhead elevation sign. Seating is first come first serve. You can order first, bring your number to the table, and they'll bring the food out to you. They charge 2.5% for using credit card. (also posted on Google)

We ordered the California Dog tater tots with garlic Parm and a peanut butter and jelly burger that was to die for everything. Everything was amazing except for it being a little windy on the patio and a little chilly, but that was the least of our worries our dogs were comfortable. The food was amazing. We came on a sunday at 11pm, so felt like there were minimal serving staff, so food took longer than expected, but the serving staff was very nice, and attentive. Service, environment, cleanliness, cute holiday decorations, sports on TV, 4.5 out of 5 Food was more of a 3, best thing we got was the Poke nachos, loved the fried wonton chips, nice cuts of tuna, great toppings. regular fries and parmesan fries were good, standard restaurant fries Philly cheese steak was ok, meat was good, bread was too thick and chewie. Burger was ok, average meat and bread. Fish and chips were ok, nice crisp, batter not too dense, needed seasoning, very plain. Chicken wings were ok, little dry, not too much flavor. Cool for groups, lots of alcohol options, good kid options, food was average. I would come back if I was in the area, and had a large group, and wanted alcohol. Dragon egg, neutral.

For most of the night, I had a great time minding my own business, watching videos quietly on my phone in a corner of the bar. As I was getting ready to leave, a random guy sitting nearby asked me to lower the volume on my phone. Whether he intended to be polite or not, it felt condescending, territorial, and completely unnecessary. They were speaking louder than my phone, yet somehow my phone was the issue. It honestly felt like a case of "local syndrome," where someone felt empowered to tell me what to do in a place that isn't theirs. I didn't want to create a scene, so I generously tipped the bartender and left. But I was genuinely upset that I was told to be quiet while I was simply minding my own business in a corner. The place itself does not deserve a bad review because of the actions of one customer. However, if this person is in any way connected to management or staff, I would seriously reconsider my rating and change it to one star--something I never done before. I think a little more compassion and understanding toward fellow customers would go a long way.

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
