I ordered a Grandma Sicilian pizza, meat lovers pizza with fries and beer cheese as an appetizer. The meat lovers had a crispy bottom, but not blackened. I enjoyed it immensely. The fries were crispy and very tasty with the beer cheese. The Grandma Sicilian was disappointing. When I started to eat it I found that it was very cold. The cheese looked dried and old and the sauce was cold. I informed the cashier and they replaced it with another which was a way better improvement. However, after eating the fries and the pizza slice. I was pretty much stuffed. I would love to go back there and retry the Grandma Sicilian pizza and add sausage to fulfil my carnivore nature.

They even have the old-school tavern pizza that tastes just like home. I didn't know whether to cry tears of joy or order another round (spoiler: I did both). The prices are so good it almost feels illegal. A frosty mug is $4, but you're better off grabbing the small pitcher for $8 (about 3.5 glasses) -- or go big with the larger pitcher for $16 if you're feeling generous. And yes, you can even get Blue Moon at that price! #worthit. They're famous for their spaghetti, but my boyfriend can never resist the ribs--and every time the waitress offers to "add shrimp," he says yes without hesitation (it's basically tradition now). It's about a 35-minute drive from Charlotte (add time for the inevitable traffic), but it's absolutely worth it. I ordered two orders of wings and a medium pizza. The wings were fine but the medium pizza did not look its best. It did not come with the traditional garlic dipping sauce or the peppers that come on the side. I called to speak with management and the first manager I spoke with was "V" and she was very rude to say the least. She was very accusative and her customer service skills were poor. She was very apprehensive in regard to helping me. I then speak with another manager named Brooklyn. Brooklyn was helpful once I explained the situation again. So over half an hour later I have to drive up there to have my order fixed. The back-and-forth that I had to go through was very uncalled for, very unprofessional to say the least. I did my best and kept my composure but I am now reminded why I no longer eat Papa John's from this location. If anything the manager "V" needs to be retrained and maybe the entire staff needs some help due to the fact that Brooklyn stated that the store was for lack of better words struggling-- no wonder why the store is struggling if this is their customer service route! That means several things for me: 1) Most importantly they have the Udi's gluten free crust which is vital for my family 2) They seem to still use the older recipe for sauce and breadsticks which makes it almost a different restaurant than the triad area Pizza Hut locations. This store itself is also one of the actual sit down, wing street combo stores and is well staffed. At least a few times a year I drive as much as an extra hour to get the GF Pizza Hut for my family and this is the store I got to.

It looks like it use to be a gas station and their are no signs saying a name or anything, except for one big ugly multicolored sign that says World and thats it. Until I got a menu to take home, I had no idea it had a name. I didnt know what to get so I went with the 4 piece dinner, legs and thighs. I was surprised at how many tater wedges came with just 4 pieces, almost 2 dozen! Their cole slaw was fantastic! I have gone back twice now and found out that they use Lexington brand cole slaw. I love that brand, I just had not had their slaw before. My 2nd time the chicken was drier and didnt seem fresh but I prob just got it at the wrong time of day. I will still continue to go back because this nasty crack whore looking place has some amazing fried bird!
