This is the only pizza place that delivered on base so without any other choices we ordered. The salad was pre packaged and basic. For the price I would not order this again. The chocolate lava cakes were good. Gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. The stuffed ham and pineapple pizza was unremarkable. It was decent but toppings slid off and the crust wasn't crusty or sturdy enough to hold the toppings. I never tasted pineapple or bacon tho. I think my favorite thing was the garlic knots. Really happy with our experience here. To be able to order pizza in Hawaii for under $15 a pizza after coupons is pretty awesome! Bless you Domino's for being one of the only eateries open on NYE!! I haven't had dominos in years so I was looking forward to trying their crunchy thin crust that has been heavily advertised. I was surprised at how big this restaurant is. You can actually eat your pizza here! Back in CA where I'm from the dominos are only to go or delivery orders. There was plenty of other families eating their pizzas indoors and they also have outdoor tables. They don't have a soda fountain though, only bottled sodas. Our pizza was ready in about 15 minutes! The staff was very friendly and on top of it. The workers were all in good spirits and hard working on NYE. We actually enjoyed the pizza! It is VERY thin and crispy. We first tried ordering a delivery. Impossible, Ai agent couldn't get it right. I asked for a real person and got another Ai agent claiming to be a real person not an AI bot. Decided to go in person. The cashier confirmed they get NO calls and others complain about the bot. We ordered a LG 50/50 one half cheese one half supreme. It came out one half supreme and one half only sauce no cheese or anything else? They gave us a personal cheese to compensate for the error. The pizza was bad and expensive. They charged for parmasian cheese and extra marinara sauce when requested without telling it was extra, it's usually free everywhere. I've always been a fan of dominoes but no more. Quality and customer service has taken a backseat to corporate profits. The use of AI bots is impersonal and the pizza itself not worth purchasing, steer clear! I know it's Domino's and why would I write about it... Well, this Domino's is different. It's on Kauai and it has a dining room... a HUGE dining room. That's something never heard of in SF or LA where you would be lucky to find a chair or bench to sit on while you wait for your pizza. And they called us as soon as our pizzas and wings were ready... They came in piping hot! We ordered a medium pizza (hand tossed) with ham, bacon, pineapple and red peppers. It was one of their specials. Something along the lines of a hot or spicy Hawaiian. It was good. We actually needed it to cool down a little bit... The wings were really good. It was surprising. 8 bone-in wings drizzled in their ranch sauce. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised how good everything was. Covid protocols were still in place. This was in July of 2021. I tried to place my order online but it was taking too long. So I came in and the employee was more than helpful. As we ordered the Extravaganza but customized it. No green peppers no olives add bacon and pineapple on half on hand tossed crust. Also ordered mango habanero wings. I'm not a big wing fan, but hubby is. I gotta say they were best wings I've ever had. Maybe they use an air fryer they were perfectly crisp yet tender inside and sauce was on point! Pizza was really good came exactly how we customized it and piping hot. Though inside dining is closed, it was HUGE and very clean inside. Ordered the lava cakes too. This is the best dominos I have been too and I travel the us for my job. They consistently make great pizza the way I want it. I also really appreciate they actually honor their quality checks. They noticed the other day they made an error on my pizza and before I got there started another one. Many places I have been try to pass off the pizza hoping the customer doesn't notice. I would much rather wait 5 extra minutes for a pizza done to perfection. Mahalo nui dominos team for making onolicious pizzas in Kauai, you impressed me!! I just ordered pizza on line for dinner. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with sauce and cheese. and a vegetarian pizza. Something went wrong with my order. When I got home the pepperoni pizza had no sauce and no cheese. Who would order a pizza with no sauce and no cheese. It was burned crispy and not eatable. I called the store and spoke to the manager, he would not give me his name. But worst he would not rectify the situation. He stated because the app is not in their control. He would not make it right. I asked him if he had ever heard of costumer service before. I have been in the restaurant business for over 40 years have worked for some of the top hotels and res on the island and in Hawaii. I have never experienced such poor service. Whenever we're in town and craving for pizza, we both go straight to Domino's. Thin crust and extra cheese with their garlic sauce always hits the spot. Whats always good is their hot chicken wings too! So good! I just tried their feta and spinach pizza on thin crust and that's also good as well! I wish they have fountain drinks on tap instead of the bottled drinks. I would always stop by Subway or the gas station to get a fountain drink. This was by far the worst Dominos pizza I've ever eaten at. Not only was the pizza way overpriced, which I expected with the fancy building. Then thinking that well for the price this is going to be some great pizza... Well much to our surprise there was hardly any sauce whatsoever on the pizza and whatever sauce they did use had no flavor at all. There was barley any cheese or pepperoni on it either so basically we spent 20.00 on some cooked bread with no flavor. Save your money and choose another pizza place. Amazing new location. We love Dominos pizza and order there quite frequently back home, but this was our first visit to this new location on Kauai. It's very spacious. You can watch them make your pizzas, which is really cool for the kids and adults alike. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is lit well and very clean. It's in a great centralized location. Parking can be a little tricky if it's really busy. The pizza tasted great. We ordered a large pizza with Alfredo sauce topped with chicken, spinach and mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly. Taste was on point. There was practically no wait from the time we put in our order. The food is always delish & hot still when delivered. The drivers are quick & extra friendly and courteous. I used to love my local Dominos in Chicago. Even though I am a pizza snob who went to Naples just to eat pizza, in Chicago Dominos was my easy go to local place. I like the pizzas here but every single one I've had has been over cooked and dry. I reheat my pizza for dinner when I get home to Waimea and I have to cover it w olive oil just to it on my pizza stone and not burn and dry it out. Plus the marinara sauce is way too heavy, just crushed San Marzano tomatoes should be used on most pies. Come into the global 21st century, time to catch up, you have a good base, just add more quality control. read more
