Giving 2 stars because at the end of the day - the flavor was there! We called to make a reservation from 9am, so they KNEW we had a big party coming. Put in our order and waited about an hour to get our food. By the time we got our food, it was cold. Original server said she'd be the one serving us and sent someone else to serve us which led him to giving some of us the wrong dish - but he was trying his best! Poor thing, he pretty much got thrown to the wolves! Couple of the orders were wrong. Cook looked all nuha, eyeing us out. Maybe he shouldn't be in that industry if he can't handle when theres a big party. If you have a big party 10+ DONT GO HERE! read more

Love Kauai Pasta! The food is so amazing every time and the service is efficient and friendly with a great vibe! Unfortunately tourist come in with large parties on a Friday or Saturday busy nights on a small island of Kauai swearing and complaining about food taking too long and badgering the staff trying to rush to the airport and it can be really selfish and distracting when trying to have a nice date night. If you're trying to have a nice and yummy dinner and came to Kauai for the right reasons of enjoying the slower pace of things and not ruin everyone else's experience this is the place for you! read more

Ceasar Salad was very tasty, I had chicken parmesan with meat sauce, chicken was well seasoned, but on drier side. Meat sauce was flavorful, meatball was not greasy. The angel hair pasta, was cooked perfectly. My son loved the Alfredo, not overly creamy and saucey, but just perfect amount of reduction to the sauce. My wife loved the Ciopinno, the shrimp was cooked absolutely perfectly, the flavorful sauce was to come back for. Ambiance was warm and energetic, the server was attentive, but needed to flag someone to refill my water. The brownie dessert was well balanced with the Vanilla Lapperts ice cream. Came in for our final day dinner and let me say this place is a hidden gem great customer service. Food was amazing. I had the 14oz stake and garlic potato's with asparagus 10 out of 10 my son had the pizza and didn't leave a piece behind. My wife had the pesto pasta with shrimp 10 out of 10. Ugh I was really bummed about this place. We decided to switch it up and go for some pasta since we had been having a bunch of seafood everyday, and I was disappointed. I'm hoping it was a one off thing but can't be sure unless I was to try it again. I found this place on Yelp and it had good reviews so we gave it a try. We order pesto pasta, chicken alfredo, and a kids spaghetti and pizza. The pesto pasta was so oily and lacked flavor. We had placed it as a to go order and the oil leaked as soon as we left and it dripped out the paper bag onto the seat. When we stopped to eat our food, there was so much oil in the pasta is was definitely not good. The chicken Alfredo was decent, had a different taste to it but somewhat good. Now the spaghetti and pizza (kids meals) were good. Although the spaghetti barely had any meat sauce on it, it still was decent and the pizza was on a type of bread (maybe sourdough) with sauce and toasted with cheese so I was happy that it wasn't a frozen one. Now the place itself was nice and modern looking and the person who helped us was nice but it definitely wasn't even worth the piece we paid. We paid about $115 and left a $15 tip. Now I don't care about the tip because it was a to go order and we wanted to just leave a tip to the server but the price we paid for the food we didn't even enjoy was outrageous. I don't think we'll be back, for a while at least. I do believe in second chances so maybe one day. read more

This seems like it could be a very good restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was poor. The person serving our table was not good at all. We noticed several servers for other tables were hustling and attentive, while our server would disappear into the back for 10-15 minutes! We sat at our table for 15 minutes before she came. Our experience would have been better if we had one of the other servers. Also, our bill came with a 20% large party surcharge for just two of us! We caught it and it was removed, but I'm guessing some guests wouldn't notice that. I was disappointed with the taste of the marinara sauce on my dish. It had a spice / flavor that was too strong for me. That's of course a personal preference and you might love it. They offered I think one refill on a Diet Coke which is disappointing. Finally, their parking is limited. read more

Ambiance is always nice.. if you go in the day or get take out for some reason it's not the best service. In the day the host never seems helpful or happy to be there. At night it's great food is always great service. read more

We finally had the chance to eat here recently. Met a friend and was greeted when entered. Got sat. Beautiful inside, but very simple. Our waitress was very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Got the mango cream soda, non alcoholic. Interesting. It was nice. I ordered the pear spinach salad with grilled chicken added on. Presentation was beautiful and the salad was delicious. I had it with feta cheese. It's a fairly large salad. It was perfect. My companion had the combination Linguine with cream sauce and Caesar Salad. It looked delicious and she enjoyed it. The best service I have had on Kauai. The decor is new and modern in a very open place. Usually I am not an Italian restaurant fan since I am often underwhelmed but this restaurant was different. Probably the saltiest food I've ever had. We waited for nearly 1.5hrs for our food, 2 other tables came and went in the time we were waiting for our food, and the waitress was combative and said "it's not my fault, the sautéed dishes take a while" (those other tables also had sautéed food) and the waitress still tried forcing gratuity on our check. If you're looking for Italian on Kauai, cook it at your own condo. Can confidently say the worst experience of my entire trip, save yourself the trouble. read more

This place is so goood!! Their pasta is so tasty, my husband and I literally clean the dishes with the garlic bread at the end. The portion is big and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back when I'm visiting Kauai in the future. The restaurant is spacious and the service was very nice. The staff are lovely people. The food is great. We've been trying to get here for years, and now that they open at Noon, we hit it before the flight out. This is a review so that every tourist and local person knows that they do not accept payment over the phone. You need to be there in person or request for a gift certificate via email through their manager as if we are back in 2000's. It was my dad's birthday and both my sister and I are on the east coast and unable to be there. We wanted to pay for our parents dinner (usually accepted by most restaurants) and unfortunately we couldn't do so. We could have sent him a Venmo or a cashapp, but we wanted it to be a surprise which didn't go well. If you are also thinking of doing the same- don't. Visited this spot for an early dinner on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Kapa'a. Easy to find with convenient parking on the left side of the restaurant. Upon stepping in, the atmosphere has a fine dining feel with soft lighting and background music. We were quickly and warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our server was very gracious and attentive during our entire visit. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan with pesto seasoned pasta, and my wife had the Pesto Grilled Chicken. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time with both presentation and portion size being good. No problems experienced and we had a nice quiet dinner. I was going to take off a star for what I considered higher than expected prices ($26 for my eggplant parm and $27 for my wife's chicken), but without being able to compare them with another local Italian eatery on Kauaʻi I decided to leave it alone. I will say that their prices are $3-$4 higher than our go-to Italian restaurant on O'ahu where the portions are larger as well. In summary, I recommend checking this spot out. read more

Beautiful little place. The setup has tables close to each other but it still feels nice and private at your table. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious and had good options for vegetarians too. Only downside was the Mai Tai which was far too sweet for my liking. Highly recommend checking this place out.
