I visited Vivi's Pizza & Pasta in Kapaʻa, Kauaʻi, Hawaii [4-1105 Kuhio Hwy] on both Monday, 01/19/26, and Friday, 01/23/26, during dinner time. On my Monday visit, I placed a phone order and got a large pizza: * 1/2 Deluxe (mozzarella cheese, zesty marinara, pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, green bell peppers, red onion, black olives, mushrooms, tomatoes) * 1/2 Meat Lovers (mozzarella cheese, zesty marinara, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, meatballs, bacon, Italian sausage) For the Friday visit, I ordered online because the restaurant was busy and phone orders were on hold. I ordered two pasta dishes: Spinach Raviolis (with creamy marinara sauce) and Lasagna. The restaurant called to inform me that they were out of both the Raviolis and the traditionally-made Classic Lasagna. They offered to make two Seafood Lasagnas instead. I have to say that both the pizza and the lasagna were absolutely flavorful and delicious! For the pizza, I loved the taste of the fresh ingredients; each bite was super delectable. The pasta dish was also unique and tasty. I don't typically see restaurants offering a Seafood Lasagna, and the execution was top-tier in my book. The interior of the restaurant was nice and cozy, with several tables and chairs. The staff members were pleasantly kind, and all of the food was fairly priced. Overall, I highly recommend Vivi's Pizza & Pasta for incredible pizza and pasta. read more

This was the best restaurant we visited on Kauaʻi during this trip. The pizza was absolutely on point! The crust was thin, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The side salad was good too--nothing extraordinary, but fresh and enjoyable. The calzone was tasty, although if I had one small criticism, it was a bit too heavy on the cheese. Unfortunately, the chicken wings were the only disappointment. They were very soft and slimy, whereas I prefer wings that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. That said, the pizza alone is worth coming back for. I enjoyed it so much that I'll definitely be returning the next time I visit Kauaʻi. read more

This pizza was amazing. When I arrived, there were no slices available, so I waited for a fresh pizza to come out. I ordered two slices, not realizing how big they were turns out, two slices is basically a whole pizza! J/k The slices are HUGE and loaded. I enjoyed every single bite. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the customer service was great. Even though they were closing, they still let me sit and eat super last minute, which I truly appreciated. I stayed at a timeshare right across the street, so this spot was perfect. I feel obligated to review this place, with several recent negative reviews. First off - yes, ownership has changed. Don't know if they are not honoring mailers, or whatever, but the new owner for sure could not use the old website, which makes for frustration. No online ordering at least not yet. We called ours in. Now for the pizza (really the point, usually) - it was pretty good. Kind of pricey, but so is everything around here. We ordered a sausage and onion and also a Hawaiian. Both were good. Whoever took our call was also very pleasant and patient. Fast as well - about 20 minutes. I had tried another very popular place online, but everything I tried to order said "not taking orders right now." You'll probably have to call (at least for now), but Diamond's did us right. read more

Everything was wrong. Wait times are unrealistic and always longer than stated after purchasing. Ordered 2 xl pepperoni pizzas that were under cooked which had 1-2 pepperoni per slice. Health inspector yellow carded this place twice Cashier barely spoke English which led me to repeat my order multiple times. read more

Pizza was good! We had to order the pineapple and ham pizza and also got a veggie and meatlovers. We ordered it for to-go and ate at our hotel. The garden salad literally was shredded mozzarella cheese with a touch of lettuce and other salad items. They forgot our dressing too but that happens. read more

Awhile ago we had gooey dough pizza so we stayed away. Just tried Deluxe tonight y dough was gooey again. The brown on crust looked great, underneath was pretty brown but inside under toppings was all gooey dough that didn't cook. Couldn't eat it, pitched the rest read more

We ordered an extra large Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza. The pie was ready promptly. I base my pizza reviews on my extensive experience with pizza over much of the mainland, in particular, the east coast. The pizza had a generous amount of sausage, skimpy portion of pepperoni, under sauced and way too much cheese. The crust was visibly undercooked in several areas from middle to outer edges. Flavor was just ok. There is no "ambiance " to speak of, but I was there for good product, based on the reviews. Sorry folks, but this just wasn't good. read more

However, I come in on my birthday for the cinnamon roll that was offered in the VIP email & I was told that they no longer have cinnamon rolls & that they no longer do this kind of promotion... Regardless, if that's the case, they're still paying for email newsletters to be sent out & it really would've been nice to have that honored on my birthday - of all days - since I've been a patron. I was skeptical about their bragging of being the world's best. And I'm not prepared to go that far. But I will say they are definitely a very good pizza. They use a thicker (not deep dish thick) crust. Plenty of sauce and cheese before they pile on the toppings. Every bite has toppings that are fresh and tasty. They strive for both quality and quantity. Note that they offer both take and bake or they bake for you. I let the masters bake it (allow an extra 10-15 minutes). I brought it back to the room and it was delicious. I might add that the pizza had a little weight to it, too! This greatly exceeds the national chains found in the island. Yes, it will cost you more but it is so worth it. The facility is take out only. They offer bottled sodas, salads and movie theater candy. I believe they deliver by Uber Eats. Beach + Pizza+Guy=Happy One of my fave things to do is grab a pizza and head for the beach in the evening. By passed my usual pizza place and tried Diamond backs. I had seen good Yelp reviews and that was further supported by a Best of award they'd recently received. So, I called it in( I don't like delivery anything) jumped in my rental rocket and hauled down for the pick up. When you want something quick and easy in Kauai diamonds Pizza is the spot. This place makes a kick ass pizza at a very reasonable price. I honestly think their pizzas comparable with some of the best that I've had and it's a break from eating some of the traditional island foods while you're here I got the meat lovers pizza, which was phenomenal loaded down with meat and a large will definitely feed three people. My wife got the cheese and she said that it was really really good also. The pictures on the website and the great reviews on Yelp made me believe that the pizza would at least be... tasty and promising? Although the pizza looked appetizing once you open the box, it was not a great sign when the cheese and pepperoni slid off the thinnest layer of chewy pizza dough. The pizza lacked taste... actually, there was some taste... a huge taste of grease. The bottom of the pizza was swimming in grease and the top was also glistening with..... (if you guessed grease you were right) more grease. Service was okay - normal and whatever's expected of a pizza place. For our last night in Hawaii, my wife and I decided to just be casual and be on the down-low before our long day in the air the next morning. So, we grabbed a pizza for dinner. I searched for a good place to grab some pie from and to my surprise there isn't much to choose from on the east side of Kauai. I found high reviews for Domino's Pizza. Um, no, I don't think so. Fortunately, I did find Diamond's Pizza and went with them. I made my order by phone and headed out to pick up the pizza. I arrived waited in my car and called in for in-car delivery. I quickly received my order and headed back to the hotel. Once there, I opened the box and the aroma hit my nose and it brought a pleasing smile to my face. My first bite ratified what I had smelt. The pizza sauce was rich and flavorful, the cheese thick, and the toppings good. I thought it would be fun to have a Hawaiian Pizza in Hawaii even though I know this isn't native to the island in any way. The Hawaiin Pizza was created in Canada. :) I enjoyed the pizza so much that I forgot to take a picture of it until the final piece! So, if you want a delicious pizza while visiting Kauai, or you just live in this paradise, then grab a pie from Diamond's Pizza. I know I will the next time I'm visiting. read more

I remember trying Diamond's when it opened in Kapaa and thought the pizza was alright. I Decided to give it a try a few years later, and nothing really changed so I figured I leave a review. The customer service is very good. I ordered a 12" deluxe pizza over the phone and the lady answering was professional and friendly. When I picked up the pizza, I was surprised how professional and friendly the teenage looking girl was for her age. The inside was hot and seemed like there was no A/C or fans. This isn't a problem since they only do take-out, but I felt bad for the 2 girls working. My pizza was alright. They loaded it with thick cut veggies which is great, but I feel like they didn't roast. They also takeover the rest of the toppings/ingredients and give the pizza a rushed looking presentation. The dough/crust is so close to being perfect, think more time in the oven would've toasted the bottom better. Overall my opinion hasn't changed since they first opened; its decent pizza with lots of toppings. Again, I think less and thinner cut vegitables, and more time in the oven for the bottom to toast up more would make the pizza stand out more. read more
