We needed a quick dinner so we decided on Ouka Sora. We went in to order at the kiosk for takeout. The kiosk are easy to use but you don't have the option to really customize your food as much as I'd like. So you'd have to tell the staff if you want your food a certain way that's not listed. They sell boba, slushies, sushi burritos, sushi tacos, poke bowls, and more. Theres a good amount of seating to dine in and a decent amount of menu items. My sister ordered wings but they had ran out unfortunately. He said everyone ordered them so they sold out. I got a sushi burritos with salmon. I wish it was more customizable. But the burrito was pretty good. I'm sure it would've been better with other toppings. I'd prefer the sushi burrito over sushi though. The orange chicken was plentiful, but the chicken was kinda stringy when you chew it. It wasn't super flavorful but it was ok. I debated this rating, so I'll say 3.5. The staff is very nice and I enjoyed that they had some board type games to play while you wait. My daughter crushed me in battleship while waiting on our food. I ordered the rainbow roll ($14). It could have been okay, but it had way too much heaviness and sauce. Normally poke is light and feels healthy; this was a calorie bomb with all the mayo sauce. It was huge with tons of crab meat (not typical on a rainbow poke in my experience), but I just didn't love it. Upon entering the restaurant, the lady working behind the counter greeted me warmly and was incredibly kind. This was my first time trying this place, and she even asked if it was -- which led her to step out from behind the counter to help me at the kiosk. She offered some great suggestions, which I gladly took. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu beef udon noodle ramen, and it was delicious! She also helped me choose a matcha milk tea with boba. I told her I didn't like it too sweet, so we went with 30% sweetener -- and it turned out perfect. This young woman handled everything up front: taking Uber Eats, DoorDash, and walk-in orders, preparing many of the items herself, all while working confidently and smiling the entire time. She really left a great impression on me. It's rare to find a quick dining spot with excellent customer service, great food, and delicious drinks. I'll definitely be back! My daughter and I stopped by Ouka Sora since we'd been wanting to try this place for a while. I'd seen others post about the Sakura Burrito so I had to order that while my daughter ordered the Chicken Chow Mein with no cabbage. We also ordered Dirty Sugar Black Milk Teas with regular ice and the regular (100%) sugar level. I loved ordering from the kiosk, it made the process quick and easy and it didn't take long for us to receive our order. The Sakura Burrito was pretty good but I did add some soy sauce to give it some flavor. The Chicken Chow Mein was very good and flavorful but I think the cabbage would've made it taste even better. Unfortunately, our Dirty Sugar Black Milk Teas were overly sweet. It would've tasted 10x better if we chose less sugar but they were too sweet to even finish. For future visits, we will select either little or no sugar to our milk teas. The teriyaki dishes were good but not enough sauce for me even though I requested extra sauce. I did enjoy the sushirito with this being my first time trying sushi in this form. The wings and drink were pretty standard but I probably wouldn't order them again. They have so many options at this place that I would opt to try something else. If carry out packaging is being reviewed, I'd give Ouka Sora 10 stars. The ramen bowls were designed to keep the soup/broth separate from the noodles and toppings so the food wouldn't be soggy. The lids were put on tight, you'd need something to pry them open. The bowls are then put in very attractive handled red bag. The salmon poke bowl was clear plastic so you can see how fresh the ingredients are and it's blister packed with carton handles for easy carry. Onward to the food. The pork and chicken ramen were good. There was good portions of noodles, they didn't skimp especially for carry out. There was a special for free entree - choice of teriyaki chicken or orange chicken with rice (brown or white for free or fried for 50cents extra) . The orange chicken was okay, 3 stars. I really enjoyed this place! When I first walked in with my friend we were confused on where to order but we quickly realized they expected you to order on tablets. Which is no biggie, you can order at a register but the lady there was just on her phone and didn't really talk to us so I didn't want to bother her. One thing I did like when it came to the tablets is that it asked about all the details like how much ice I wanted in my drink and you could add a LOT of boba to your drink. Having never been here before it was actually SUPER GOOD. You can see the drinks me and my friend got in the photos. He got a mango smoothie and I got a lychee green tea, both had strawberry boba in them and they were amazingly good!! I'd highly recommend coming back here. Bad portions and their sushi rice might as well been normal white rice. Their coconut shrimp was a lot better but nothing more than advertised. Pretty decent place to satisfy your poke bowl needs. I've been here a few times, and never really had any negative experiences. Ouka Sora has a pretty extensive menu in terms of poke bowls. If none of those options suit you, then you have an opportunity to create your own poke bowl. From my few experiences, Ouka Sora has always used fresh (and plentiful) ingredients and service has been pretty quick. To be perfectly honest, a single poke bowl is enough for two folks. Even for take-out orders, they do a good job in properly boxing (or 'bowl'ing') up your food so it will not end up all over the place during your commute home. Maybe one day, I'll try some of the other menu options like the poke burritos and tacos (I think that's what they were called) and the ramen. My experience here was pretty great, with the one downside that in essence, most of what I had was high quality ameri-Chinese. Which is kind of delicious if you ask me, but it's not really "Japanese" in any way except the type of dishes. Most of the favors are very Chinese, even the miso ramen. I loved it, just wasn't what I was expecting. You order on a touch screen, and it comes out fast. The service was kind and quick, and helpful when I had forgotten to ask for waters. Disappointed to say the least. Based off the reviews I had read on here I had high hopes for this place. I ordered the chicken teriyaki entree with fried rice and broccoli and cabbage added on. I was intrigued by Wednesdays special deal, "buy one app get one 50% off", so I also ordered shrimp tempura and crab ragoons. The appetizers were pretty good which made me hopeful for the entree. Glad I got the the appetizers to snack on because wow... the entree absolutely left me speechless... in a bad way. The chicken seemed undercooked. The texture just seemed ... mushy. I've had plenty of chicken teriyaki dishes before at other establishments and it's never been... mushy. I ended up throwing the chicken on the stovetop and cooked it some more in hopes it would give it that missing texture and taste, but alas... it did not make it better. Even the rice was mushy... and the amount of broccoli and cabbage you're given for the extra charge was slightly upsetting. Maybe like 3 pieces of broccoli and barely a scoop of cabbage. Not only was I left disappointed but also irritated I had spent $30 to not even enjoy my meal. Oh almost forgot I did get a honeydew tea with boba. That was probably the best part of my meal tbh. have gone and ordered from this business numerous times in the past. it's normally a go-to choice for my family and i if you're needing something quick but filling. recently, i saw their advertisements about their new hawaiian offerings. i found this interesting because i've noticed a few other japanese spots trying out hawaiian food and tried alohahola (associated w/ domoishi) recently and loved it! unfortunately tonight i decided to try it and was severely disappointed. i've never written a review, a negative one at that, but i was just so dissatisfied with what i received tonight that i felt the need to. for one, after i placed my order it said pick up time would be around 14 minutes. we get there around 14 minutes later and they say they're still waiting on the macaroni. that's fine, no complaints there. what i didn't expect was to wait 15-20 more minutes just for the macaroni. and the wait would've been okay and worthwhile if what we received made it so but unfortunately the minute i opened the bag i noticed the containers all wet on the outside and the bottom of the bag soaked because of how runny the macaroni was. this was my first red flag as macaroni salad should not be that runny whatsoever. i go to open the container and already knew i was going to be let down. the only garnishing/topping they had to offer was the few sprinklings of herbs. upon taking a bite it was just as i was expecting: watery, runny, and no flavor whatsoever. all in all just go to alohahola or aloha hawaiian bbq for your hawaiian cravings! the only thing that salvaged this order was the chicken katsu musubi which was admittedly pretty good. read more

You order on the iPad which I prefer more than talking to people just because it kind of eliminates the risk of getting an order wrong. We started off with the japanese chicken nuggets and coconut shrimp as appetizers They were so crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. We were definitely impressed. I got the sushi taco and Lanni got the shrimp chow mein. Both were very delicious, I was very curious on the sushi taco. It came out in almost a burrito form. I expected the shell to be a little crispier but the texture it had was actually pretty good. It would may be a little better with a crispier shell but it was a mouthful of flavor.
